This video is great, am using a Team corally CT2R controller should all the dials be at 0 prior to calibration (or perhaps all at 100%) ? I also have a weird thing, the steering wheel is not recognised, but the steering trim knob when turned willmove the wheel direction. Perhaps my ESC needs resetting or mt rx/tx need rebinding?
How do you reduce the drag brake with this routine? Would you throttle the controller to a percentage in the reverse direction to approximate different percentages of drag brake? While doing the exact sequence in the video, my drag brake is now set too high.
If you could clarify how you can do all this with the stock RTF transmitter. That would be the 761-1 RTF 750mm Volantex Mustang I can't get more than 1 or 2 beeps in any position. I was able to I get the motor to run but 1. Feels like it's catching when it first starts,2 and full speed doesn't seem like it's turning fast enough. Haven't got the motor mounted yet so, can't really mount the prop. I'll have to look at adapting the motor mount. Thank you. There's no set button for the hobbywing skywalker 30ampesc.
Hey bud I have a question so I have the same esc it was working fine then now it won’t go in reverse so I have tried the calibration as you showed but when you get to the point that you have to set the throttle to brake the esc doesn’t beep now if I throttle forward it will beep do you have any idea how do I program it and let it set the reverse normally while calibrating ?

Can you do something for power I'm new to the game I bought an used xmaxx s8 and it has no too much power like it doesn't even wheelie and reverse is very slow too it came is factory besides the hw esc and it came with 3s batteries so I'm guessing getting s4 batteries might help ??? Or do I have to do more gears and stuff ?
@@RCMadnessHobby also I noticed that tge esc might be giving up or over heating or Idk what could be. But if I'm running comes out hard then slows down then stops by it self and doesn't do nothing till a couple seconds later idk if I should buy a new one?
@@ramonortiz3095 I would check the batteries or try a new set. Also when it cuts off what are the led liights blinking. Different number of blinks equals a different trouble code.

i am getting a constant x3 blinking green light after calibration , also my esc doesnt make a sound its a wb 10bl50 rtr esc , it worked before but i then plugged in my battry wrong and shorted it , is this 3x green light the fact that its shorted out and damaged ?

Your supposed to just use the power button. Lol same procedure otherwise. Hold power till it starts red flashing, the neutral, tap power, full throt, power button, rull reverse, power button. These things can still be a pain tho.
My car wont revers. Its a hobbywing Xerun xr8 sct and I cant make it revers. The red light is blinking when I try to revers. Is there eny one ther have a clute? Peace from Danmark.

Good day RC friends, does anyone know why I use 3s with this hobbywing 2200kv combo and an XR8PRO ESC Are the batteries lasting 3 minutes? My batteries are 8000mah 80c 3s but they last 3 minutes or less. Is the ESC being protected from something? The motor says in the manual that it is 2 to 6s. and the ESC from 2 to 4s But with 3s batteries I have not been able to make the batteries last more than 3 minutes. if someone could help me
I hate these hobbywing systems. They are slow unless you use boost and turbo, then they will melt your battery terminals. Hobbywing sucks, I feel sorry for anybody who buys this crap.

OMG man you saved me. I got a brand new HW Max10 that wouldn't really go backwards and when it would it would continue by itself. This fixed the issue

Do I have to reset the ESC before doing calibration to radio? Just don't want to lose my ESC set up just to calibrate a radio.

Worked a treat.
Wish this worked. My 10bl120 does the red flashing but as soon as I hit the set button it stops flashing and beeping never get a green light.

My throttle trim is zeroed out but can not get the 3rd set of beeps for reverse what could this be, tried two receivers too!

Can you use the original dx3 controller with ezrun max5 on the Kraton?
Damn! for some reason on the ezrun max 10 it won’t beep when I go through the throttle positions.

There is quite a difference from 6s to 8s power. Also the power can be turned down in the esc. If you are local swing by the shop and we can help.

Are the 1100 kv motor a with a b with b and with c to the max 5 esc? I tried this with my spectrum remote and I can’t get it to work. Any tips?

That usually means it has no throttle signal from the receiver. Make sure it’s plugged in the right direction.

Reverse seems to be finicky on hobbywings , turn your throttle dual rate back a little , it helped mine
It is not a vehicle unless it transports something. Its a model, e buggy, toy, but not a vehicle .... 🙂
