I always use the C and CC site in Hayfield at the bottom of Kinder Scout. You can use the backpackers hut to cook food, heated drying room etc. Ideal if the weather's a bit wet.
Just found your channel and really enjoyed camping Pt1 and 2. Like you I did my first two moto-camping trips in 2021. First in June and overnight into Cornwall and then down to Lands End and home (Weston-s-Mare), and then in September I did seven days up to Scotland; the Cairngorms, John O'Groats, bits of the NC500, Glen Coe, Dumfries and Galloway and home. I loved every minute. Here's to more miles in 2022.
@@thehikerbiker6972 The two real finds of my trip were the Snow Roads in the Cairngorms, or even closer to you, Dumfries and Galloway, which is an area I MUST go back to. Have a good season.
Haha, same here. Back surgery just before Christmas so willing that to be sorted for the better weather, and a new bike sat in the garage waiting to go 😁
