I was actually going over my golf game and I'm a pretty good putter but I definitely get caught in the 3 putt avoidance mindset rather than trying to make the birdie putt. My par putts are much more aggressive than my birdie putts and the stroke is always much better. Also, your driver swing is dialed right now. Keep it up

Positional play took 12 shots off my round yesterday. Instead of me focusing on hitting that perfect shot every time, I focused on getting myself to the right distance from or on the green where I know I can chip or putt it close enough to not 2 or 3 putt. My life has changed and yes I bought the drinks afterwards :)

I watched one of your videos again from 2021 the other day and noticed how much muscle you have put on. Quite the difference. Keep up the great content! P.S.- Shot in the dark since I'm late to the party...I would love to have that sensual putter when you have one available.
Some cracking drives there mon, that lesson is paying off big time. I'm gonna try that pause on the chip. I do it on the drive and it works pretty well there. My chipping is horrid. Despite putting 200% of my weight on the left foot while balancing an anvil on my left shoulder I'm still almost always hitting way behind the ball or knifing it. Grrr.

I know what you mean about having the confidence to trust the new swing move. I've had lessons recently too. I'm trying to swing more in to out. On the range its easy, but with O.B. right its hard to trust the feel of starting it in that direction. Especially as I have a tendancey to leave the face open a bit if I'm steering it.
To shoot 64: Get used to shooting low by first playing off ladies tees. You get tons of birdie chances and make a few then it's also keeping aggresive and not protecting late in the round. I've got down to high 60's.

Mine is much simpler, accelerate to the ball. Most people bunk their chips and pitches because they decelerate to the ball out of fear. The entire distance control is in the amount of backswing, acceleration and follow through should always be the same. I also put like 80% of my weight on the front foot, which helps to accentuate striking down through the ball instead of trying to help lift it which will just thinny it across the green

Hey Matty love the content! Just wanted to throw this out there but I think you're wearing gloves a size or two too big. The velcro strap shouldn't be able to fully close on a new glove and should just about fully cover after being broken in after a few rounds. I tried recently going to a smaller glove and it helped with feel and control.
Practice chipping with only your left hand. It will develop your tempo, remove your hands from doing work and force your body to turn. This is the best tip to improve chipping I have ever used. Start super short and after a while, you will have the confidence to hit 40+ yard shots with one hand and greatly enhance your touch around the green.
