Imagine being there at the studio that day and seeing the actors record their uncensored lines for Sailor Mouth. 😅
I like to imagine if like the Kristy Krab scene, their lines were broadcast over the Studio intercom
I mean a lot of the VA's have been involved with R rated or PG-13 projects before and since. I mean Mr. Krabs was the villain in Highlander.
There’s a little compilation of some of the actors actually cussing and it’s uncensored. So it kind of gives you an idea of what it would have sound like.

@@PsychoDiesel48 What about Tom Kenny?
@@kagemushashien8394 So many, but probably most notable recently is Squanchy and a couple others from Rick and Morty. He was also King Jellybean
the Uncensored version of Sailor Mouth is deep in the Nick Vault, never to be released
The script just says dolphin noise, so the actors originally either said nothing or made up a swear, but had trouble thinking of fake swears or cutting themselves off, so they asked to swear for real since it would be censored anyways, and they were allowed
The part where Mr. Krabs stubs his toe, was so funny, all the actors were dying, Clancy Brown was popping off apparently
Damn I wish I could’ve heard that
Fun Fact, that's not actually a dolphin noise.
It's the sped up cry of a Kookaburra, which is a bird.
We're busting that thing open who's with me?
@@CJWest08 If you wanna hear mr krabs swear just play through detroit become human, Hank is played by the same actor
@@haku8135like how the sound we associate with bald eagles is actually the cry of the red tailed hawk?
Actually the "uncensored" one you saw is not really the official one. The real one is still locked up in nickelodeon to never see the light of day. But hey, at least some fans did those fanmade versions to see how it kinda went 😂
I don’t know how it’s not obvious that those aren’t the same voices.
Yeah. Although a few months ago, they actually leaked Two audio clips from the episode. Where you hear spongebob yelling "Blow Me" and "F**kface"
That scene of Patrick rubbing sunscreen on Sandy and the live-action car crashing on the track were both removed from later airings for inappropriateness. I was always shaking my head at "Procrastination" in later airings 'cause I always thought I was remembering something different when I first saw the episode.
Yeah cos I was about to say I never remembered any of those happening
Thank god I was not the only one that did not remember seeing those scenes from the original episode
Don’t think I saw the original airing but the cut was still jarring
From this 2:08 to this 2:53
The Patrick scene always looked so weird too. She’s not moving or reacting at all so it looks like a lifeless doll
This one and Just One Bite. The “security alarm” for the Krusty Krab setting Squidward on fire lmfaooo
That art critic didn’t know what he was talking about, Bold and Brash was the greatest piece of art ever made.
Squidward is genuinely talented. The problem is he is so narcissistic, anything not about him isn't worth appreciating. It amazes me someone can be so creative and uncreative at the same time
I once read that Squidward’s talent and performance actually gets better when he’s in a good mood.
Squidward's depiction of Neptune is just Handsome Squidward with red flowing hair
Yeah we saw that he was 100% capable of making that sculpture and everything else that spongebob nailed perfectly like the circle.
@@jaredhamilton425which, he can't be 95% of the time because Spongebob is around 😂
I really liked the ending of IM WITH STUPID for a simplen reason. Patrick was an awful friend, Spongebob staged the whole "stupid friend scenario" to make him look good in front of his parents and he actually humiliated himself for him which seemingly worked. Except that those people werent patricks parents and his true parents still think he s a dum dum
Patrick, his fake parents, and his real parents are all dum dums
To me it made think that ALL starfish in Bikini Bottom are not the sharpest tools in the shed
There is no released uncensored version of Sailor Mouth, Tom Kenny has said that it does exist, but it will never see the light of day. Also there's a bunch of complications of the voice actors cussing. I think there's an animation where Tom Kenny was asked to voice Spongebob but actually cuss (not done by Nickelodeon), Plankton's voice actor cussing, Patrick's voice actor cussing in a movie (yes he purposely voiced Patrick to demonstrate rage in a different character), and Mr. Krab's voice actor is in Detroit Become Human (yes that character cusses a lot.
As of 3 months ago we have a leak from Sailor Mouth of SpongeBob screaming “Blow Me” during eels and escalators. It sounds a teensy bit off but the kicker is that the clip includes a part of his scream that’s cut off by the dolphin noise in the real version. Something like that would still be quite hard for most ai
Clancy was SUPER on board with using actual swears when recording Sailor Mouth.
Of course he was. He was and still swearing like a sailor before SpongeBob and in other film projects.
Shawshank anyone
I wish we saw Patrick’s parents bothering squidward “where’s Patrick?”😂😂😂
I can imagine them being. Mom: Where's Patrick? Squidward: I don't know. Dad: Do you know NOW? For like an hour straight
"Sailor mouth" is honestly even more enjoyable to watch as an adult because you can perfectly imagine them swearing plus as kid I never understood those **dolphin noises** words
"Procrastination," on top of being one of the most relatable episodes, actually has school principals reacting to it 🤣
Procrastination is such a fun and relatable episode.
I'm with Stupid on the other hand is so frustrating because Patrick behaves like such a dick to Spongebob for no reason. Although the twist of this not even being his real parents but just random sea stars who don't even have a son is pretty wild.
Sailor Mouth is my favourite tho, too bad we will probably never see the uncensored version of it.
Also fun fact: Squidward saying that he thought there were only 7 dirty words is a reference to a George Carlin routine called "Words you can't say on tv".
Carlin also narrated 4 seasons of Thomas The Tank Engine
Holy shit you guys got the Unedited version of Procrastination! Apparently the network had an issue with Patrick giving Sandy a massage in her bikini lol.
Bow chicka wow wow 😏
Ngl I feel like people sleep on how relatable artist unknown is. I’m not saying I condone Squidwards actions but I feel like we all got annoyed at someone at some point in our lives who are better at something we enjoy than us despite never even touching it before
"Oh, my 🐬 foot! What 🐬 genius put a 🐬 rock in a 🐬 path? Can't ya see I got a 🎺 foot here? Oh, 🦭, oh, 🛥🐦, oh my 📣 with a side of 🐬 and a heapin' helpin' of 🔔📯 and a boatload of 🚢, oh 🦭 🦭 🐦 grabbin' ⛴️!"

It's worth noting that when an episode focuses on Squidward, Spongebob, and Patrick, Spongebob is usually as goofy and stupid as Patrick. But when it's just Spongebob and Patrick, Spongebob usually has clarity.
Ironically, Squidward can bring out the worst in him.
At least one person needs to be the voice of reason
Honestly "Sailor Mouth" is substantially more entertaining as an adult.
The art episode hit me hard. My art teacher said we're free to draw anything, so i drew some anime fanart and my friends mostly drawing scenery or nature things. I got the lowest score while my friends who ask me to draw their mountain got higher score. Since then i never take his lesson seriously and everytime he complain why i always neglecting his teaching, i will say he's so close-minded for stuck with what the book said
Fan art is some of the best drawn art. There's a lot of unrecognized artists who are ignored just because they draw r34 art and fan art.
I know the word is overused these days, but dude legit jus sounds like an ELITE level of hater. You're prolly far beyond what he's talkin' 'bout anyway
Art teachers are just artists that have no talent so they can only teach art the one and only way they know how, absolutely by the numbers. Creativity and art styles are beyond them because the peak of their artistic career is copying a Bob Ross video.
Ma, that horrible.I feel bad for you
I hate art teachers that preach creativity, but then scold their students for experimenting and trying something different.
I remember the amount of times my teacher pushed me to change my artwork to the point it wasn’t even my idea anymore, and because of him I lost so much time for the deadline that I was forced to hand in a “refined” sketch that I hated drawing. :/
That uncensored version is AI from what I remember. The legit one was either destroyed or is guarded by Nickelodeon.
Your right but it’s not AI. It’s just an edited video with someone else’s voice.
@@zach177 I see
If the legit one ever gets released, imagine how many people will watch it.
You guys are the luckiest people alive to watch the complete version of Procrastination for the first time.
The fair scene and the go kart scene were both cut from TV and only recently when Paramount Plus happened was when they put the scenes back in.
It wasn't so much Paramount+ as it was "Whoever was tasked to HD remaster all the episodes saw this scene and went 'Why did we censor this again?'"
Artist Unknown is the second time Tom Kenny sang "To the dump". The first time was in an episode of Rocko's Modern Life.
“When will he learn?” Idk why, but that fish always makes me laugh the hardest after “My leg!”😂
14:53
The twist at the end of I'm With Stupid does feel like a horror movie. It reminds me of the film The Visit.
While it is true that they did curse in that episode, there exists no way to watch the uncensored version. Any video online uses voice clips by the voice actors in other shows, movies, or games where they do curse, like Mr. Krabs' voice actor from the game Detroit: Become Human. The true uncensored version is likely somewhere in the Nickelodeon archives and is unlikely to ever be heard by the public.
I wholeheartedly at 4:08 about word counts and minimum page counts for essays and papers. It’s just pointless busy work
The Sailor Mouth episode reminded me of the video of Plankton's voice actor (Mr. Lawrence) swearing in character. Its uploaded on RUclips, its simply called "Plankton Swearing". Its a short video, but its fun to hear spongebob characters swearing from their actual voice actors.
16:15 And there literally was a horror movie like that too! 😂It was called The Visit where the mom sends her kids to stay with their grandparents who she hadn't seen in like decades and when the kids get off the bus it's not actually their grandparents that they meet up with. It's so creepy and disturbing
5:47
procrastination is probably the episode I rewatch the most. while procrastinating, of course
Speaking of writing essays, a kid i went to high school with admitted that he didn't know what to write for a short essay on a test so he wrote about how he didn't know what to write as his answer. Apparently he got half a point for the answer, the teacher confirmed it because he found it funny.
They would get a kick out of Spongebob actors cussing comp. It's so funny and Plankton's VA has the most time cussing 😂
"800 words is that a paragraph or two" god damn and i thought i was long winded
That swear episode seems like a strong reference to George Carlins "Words you can't say". I love it
7 dirty words?
The conclusion spongebob reaches at the end when finally writing his essay reminds me of the advice my mom gives me for the same thing. She says, write and write whatever comes to mind until reaching a minimum required word then go back and edit whatever you have. Though that's easier done with computers.
I NEVER KNEW THIS WHEN I ORIGINALLY WATCHED IT!
Mr Krabs says there are 13 bad words, but Squidward thinks there's only 7.
George Carlin has a famous bit on the 7 dirty words you can't say on tv!
The censors for those curses was actually put in post. The voice actors actually cursed here 🤣
Yea SpongeBobs chair telling him to take a seat scared my little ass as a kid 😂
They haven’t released the version they recorded for this episode uncensored but I believe someone took snippets of the voice actors swearing in other projects and edited them into the visuals. All the swear word noises in the episode match up to real swear words as well.
It’s episodes like “I’m with Stupid” that really make me cross with Patrick. Patrick was a nervous wreck about not being smart in the eyes of his parents thatSpongeBob, like a good friend, offers to help him in his hour of need by acting dumb to make Patrick look smarter. When things began to look up, Patrick pushed the envelope and makes SpongeBob seem like he is the dumb guy.
He says: “Dumb people are always blissfully unaware of how dumb they really are.” Takes one to know one right? Makes me wanna go Man Ray on his chubby self and bury him for his act of being hypocritically mean-spirited.
I think the fact those WEREN'T Patrick's parents at all, just random strangers, and Patrick's real parents still think he's dumb as bricks and never saw SpongeBob acting like an idiot saves Patrick here. Like as dumb as SpongeBob pretended to be, Patrick is actually even dumber than that.
LATER seasons of Patrick though? Yikes.
You guys talked about the 800 word essay so much I paused the video and wrote it. I blew past 800 words in under an hour and it was 1.2 pages, single spaced with an intro, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion. It's really not that hard, which is the point of the episode. When he just buckled down and wrote the essay, it didn't take him long at all, because it wasn't a particularly difficult assignment. The only reason SpongeBob had a hard time with it was that he procrastinated all night long.
As someone in college right now, i get why having a page count matters. If it's not there then a great many students would just submit a bare bones essay. It would look weird on the teacher if like some students wrote very little while others wrote like 500-800 words but got the same grade
I always figured that the word count was just part of the lesson that needed to be learned. Like, a good writer could say everything that needs to be said in way less words, but also a good writer could stretch that out to meet the word count and not have it sound rambling or repetitive.
@rudymora4179 yeah like if somebody could fit in everything they needed to say under the word count then sure. However too many people would abuse that and give half ass attempts.
Im trying to become a teacher and I think that I would use some sort of word count but that the students didn't have to get the exact number. At least something within that ball park so I could fully understand what point they're making in their writing and not just three short sentences
The grade should reflect, how well an essay depicted the information that essay was about.
If someone can depict it well in 200 words, they get a good mark. If they do it in 1400 words, they get the same mark.
If someone wrote 1400 words and did it better, then they get a better mark. And if they did it worse, they get a worse mark.
Just writing a lot, doesn't mean it's better.
@@BestAnimeFreak sure but something else that gets factored in is the time it takes to write an essay and the student's setting. So like if an essay was assigned as homework like with Spongebob then yeah the word count could be longer because the student has more time to fully flesh out their argument.
For other instances when the essay is done during class then the word count doesn't really matter, as long as the student's writing is fully addressing the question or questions they're being asked to write about
All that extra work SpongeBob did to distract him was all still way easier than the essay because it still required little to no thinking while the essay is primarily thinking.
I can confirm the procrastination episode gave me nightmares as a kid
Procrastination is hands down my favorite SpongeBob episode
Squidward is living the saying, "When my students surpass me without me teaching them a thing."
If you think about it, the only thing Squidward paints is himself, and he's ugly. The artist absolutely hated his self portraits but loved the statue at the end
One funny thing I never noticed until it was pointed out to me in the scene where SpongeBob and Patrick snitch on Mr Krabs for swearing, while SpongeBob and Patrick are saying the swears that Mr Krabs said, one thing that got bleeped out as well that you have to listen closely for is Mr Krabs saying “mother they’re a bunch of fucking liars”
Another round of four absolute bangers! Artist Unknown has to be my favorite. I encountered someone with good ol Bold and Brash hanging on their wall! More like....belongs in the trash! It just never gets old. Procrastination is hella relatable though and I'm With Stupid explores the greatness of SpongeBob getting angry again. Not enough, never enough.
Procrastination always scared me when I was little. Two parts rubbed me the wrong way: the chair coming to life and being like “come on SpongeBob, come have a seat.” and the candle flame coming to life and burning his house down.
She has a point. Sailors at least have an excuse to talk like that because they're pissed from doing work all day.
I remember as a kid being so fuckin scared by spongebobs essay dream sequence, looking back it’s actually so well made, like damn
SpongeBob short circuiting is the funniest thing to me
I roleplay and whenever I write three - four paragraphs it ends up counting itself as 1k+ words, and the most i've written was like twelve paragraphs about. In school I remember sucking at essays it was my weakness, but the more i roleplayed/read, I got better, but when I did suck, it's as you guys said. I literally would make up stuff to fill in blanks. Adding extra unneeded words and everything lol
There is no actual leaked episode of the cast actually cussing and iirc somebody in the cast has previously said nickelodeon will never let that version see the light of day for obvious reasons.
I bring news about the Sailor Mouth episode and the censored lines. One of the lines has been found in a recording.
The scene where Spongebob and Patrick play Eels and Escalators. Spongebob rolls Eels for the last time, then curses. What he said in the audio...
"AUGH BLOW ME-"
I stand by it even now that it is bs that Mrs puff was like "na you know that essay i said you had to write in one day?, that's void now, we're going on a field trip instead" i would look her dead in the eye and say "okay, then give me extra credit." Even if she did try to call him that night to say hey we ain't doing the essay anymore ik people who do that stuff the second they get home and don't stop till it's done, to say hey you gotta do this then say na i ain't gonna accept it cause were doing something different just- ughh i could rant about that all day (can you tell I've dealed with bs teachers and assignments before?)
Sailor Mouth is one of the funniest episodes I laughed at. The voice actors were using actual curse words, but they censored it with dolphin noises
🤬🤬🤬🤣🤣🤣
Im pretty sure the swearing episode is the whole reason why I didnt like to swear until mid high school XD
As a teacher, there is sometimes a reason for page requirements, but, yes, it is pure hell to grade so many pages. I've got 20 research papers about to be submitted!
The art class episode shows how schools strip students of their individuality and potential.
I had a dick of a teacher who considered "1 page = 100 words" and was annoyed that I actually counted my words and did his 300 word essay or something in 1.5 pages.
In freshman year of high school my first English assignment was meant to be 500 words, and I actually wrote 500 words. Most people came back with 2.5 pages, and one person wrote like 5. I was like how?
The video you saw at the end sadly isnt the real version. But a few months ago, two of the actual audio clips got leaked, where Spongebob says "F***face" and "Blow me!"
SpongeBob wrote “spotlight” on his paper😂
I made the mistake of taking an Advanced Editing Theory class for my BFA in Motion Pictures & Television.
The professor made us get pre-selected movies and we had to write a seven page essay (EACH WEEK) about how editing affected each category.
-Page 1: Intro
-Page 2: Character Development
-Page 3: Music and Sound Effects
-Page 4 Pacing
I forgot the rest but yes. A whole damn page about how editing affected each of these.
800 words is 1.6 pages single-spaced or 3.2 pages double-spaced.
the uncensored version you just watched was fan made. an actual uncensored version does exist but nick won’t release it
Ruff - "I think Patrick is secretly a mad genius."
Next episode - "Are you sure about that?"
10:40 my brother couldn’t stop laughing for days after that line 😂
In Procrastination, the scene where SpongeBob looks out the window and the crashed racecar cutaway were removed in reruns.
I think it's safe to say that Patrick isn't stupid. ALL STARFISH ARE STUPID!!
The traffic light was first introduced to London in 1868, because nobody wanted humans to have to control traffic, not even cops. Since then, they've gotten more advanced, but the premise remains simple: red light means stop, green light means go, yellow light means proceed with caution.
The first thing to avoid doing at a traffic light is basically the same thing to avoid whenever driving in general: getting distracted. When you sit at a stoplight, it may be tempting to let your mind wander, especially if you're there for like five (dolphin noises) minutes and the light still hasn't turned green. But don't. Be alert at all times, because once that light changes, if you aren't moving, you're going to seriously irritate everyone behind you in the lane. Neptune help you if you stay there for so long the light goes red again.
With that said, the dangers can be mitigated if you have a reliable passenger. You can perform a few quick actions at the stoplight, like changing the radio station or taking a sip of your Dr. Kelp, as long as someone is keeping their eyes on the light for you. Be warned, though: "mitigated" ain't the same thing as "erased"; if your buddy decides to mess with you, or gets distracted themselves, you are still the driver, and as such, you're the one who is liable for whatever transpires.
Whenever the light is red, you are to stop, which means you cannot "go". What this means is a little more complicated. You may go up to the crosswalk, but your tires may not cross over the line. If there are other cars ahead of you, also waiting at the light, then you may not go up to the crosswalk, as that would involve crashing into them. In any circumstances, crashing into a car that is waiting for the light is not good.
Reading that, you're now probably thinking that the red light is where the restrictions are, and green means you're free to go. No. When the light's green, you are not just *able* to go; you are not allowed to "stop". If you stop at the green light, it's possible that the cars behind you will not expect that and keep going. In that case, even though you were the one who stopped, the person who crashed into you is legally in the clear.
Which brings us to yellow. Off the record, nobody cares about yellow. On the record, if the light is yellow before you get to the crosswalk, then you should slow down and come to a stop when you get there, just like if it were red. But if the light is green when you're approaching and you see it turn yellow when you get to the crosswalk, no you didn't, it's still green, what are you talking about, just keep going.
Under no circumstances, red light, green light, yellow light, or even if there's no light and just a traffic cop, should you ever stop while you're in the intersection. If there is a traffic cop, you may be tempted to shift to reverse after you've run them over so you can get them again, but trust me, that will just make your own driving less safe.
By the way, one thing you should never do at a stoplight is pretend you don't know what color the light is. Colorblind fish can still see which light is the illuminated one - the one on top means stop, the one on the bottom means go.
I've been talking about the actual stoplight part of stoplights, but much more important for determining the correct actions to take is the human element. Most stoplights are at intersections with crosswalks, and there's a good chance pedestrians will be there. Even if the light is green, do not run over any pedestrians. Or cyclists, for that matter. Just wait a couple seconds for them to pass, honk the horn if they take longer than that. Only if they turn out to be cops or clarinet players is it okay to just drive.
Same thing goes for the other boats. If some squirrel in an eighteen-wheeler starts driving through the intersection when the light's red, just ignore your own green light and let them pass. Following the computerized traffic light algorithm is not worth a T-bone collision. Yes, they'd be the one at fault, but that doesn't really help your organs, does it?
Do not open the door to relieve yourself at a stoplight. This is basically an encapsulation of everything not to do. It distracts your attention and your hands, it distracts the other drivers, you're potentially leaving a biohazard all over other people's boats. Either wait to get to a restroom or use your pants.
Many people hate I’m with Stupid, but it has a LOT of the show’s best one liners.
There's more of the uncensored episode. My favorite is Spongebob's "Ahoy Squidward How the Fuck are ya? :D"
Nothing is better than Ruff just roasting paramount plus for cutting the episode to a small screen😂😂😂😂
I have a friend who a few years ago made copies of "Bold and Brash" and gave them to our friend group including myself for Christmas.
The "Procastination" episode is what life is like to have ADHD, I can't focus on a simple task, I doing ridiculous things like SpongeBob did haha
0:56 I won’t let you all gaslight Ruff like this, 800 is nothing. It’s literally about 1 1/2 pages.
Sailor Mouth was probably one of the funniest episodes for me in Spongebob growing up, I don't think my dad or me ever laughed that hard at a cartoon before!
Spongebob just thinks/assumes that crashing your car horribly and doing millions of dollars in damages is all part of the daily driving process.
It feels like a long time since I last watched the episode about Squidward’s art class, so nostalgic.
12:27 I always thought Patrick was saying "Harmony" here. Never occurred to me that the CC might've just effed up and he was saying "I'm ready" weird. Possibly 20+ years of lies!!!! Lmao
I didn't think I'd stick around after you finished Amphibia, but now that you're doing Spongebob, one of my fave childhood shows, I can't help but come back. Love you guys!
4:35 A little bit is good, because you don't want people to write one sentence stating their point. Make it reasonable, like it needs to be at least 5 paragraphs or something (Counting introduction and conclusion)
If I had two nickels for how many times someone licked something twice as memes in this episode alone. I would have two. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
Procrastination and artist unknown are some of the most relatable episodes in the series, the first for obvious reasons the second being for the fact that the education system limits creativity and how it punishes students for thinking outside the box
22:43, Your reactions to that are priceless 😂🤣
Even though we don't have the full uncensored sailor mouth, we at least now have the uncensored clip for when they were playing eels and escalators that was leaked a few months ago
"Ahh Blow Me!"
Whenever I watch a reaction to “Sailor Mouth” the part that always makes me laugh the hardest is their reaction to Krabs stealing his mother’s money 😂
So Squidward can only be a good artist if he's being popping seathing mad
800 words honestly isn't that bad, I had to do a 3000 word essay for my introduction into uk college.
SpongeBob has ADHD on procrastination 😂😂😂😂i could never relate more
y’all have seen the uncensored sailor mouth clips, right? the official ones
It was SpongeBob's passion that made him a great artist, not his supposed quality
To me, they should just have a restaurant where you could just say curse word. It should be a restaurant out there that is just rated r you be able to say anything without people looking at you sideways 😂😂😂
Procrastination was perhaps the most relatable episode to me since I had the shortest attention span when it came to homework.
I hate how much I relate to the procrastination episode
