  • I've been playing video games for 21 orbits around this giant ball of plasma, and few games are as good as RUMBLE. The controls, the gameplay, the community, I love almost everything about this game. So, I wanted to talk about my experience with it.

    This is a prime example of the RUclips algorithm failing miserably, an amazing video with only 57 views?!? This content is better than half the stuff on the internet. I hope rumble gets popular and more people start playing this game, it is really hard to find a match. Thank you for making this video!

    • @kogra9805
      @kogra9805  9 месяцев назад +7

      The RUclips algorithm is not the best, but for me, 57 views in 24 hours is pretty good. But then again, even 10 views is doing numbers, in my eyes.
      I should say something about sharing my videos with friends and family, but I consistently forget to. It's still optional, like everything else I said in the outro, but greatly appreciated all the same.

      @@SleepySkull1 It is, indeed. It seems like the algorithm pushed the video to many people's homepage, and it skyrocketed.
      Thank you, all of you. This has been the best performing video I've made, and I never thought it'd go this far.
      Maybe the RUclips algorithm isn't that much of a failure.

    I was taught speed disc in my first-ever match by a yellow belt. In my first match as a yellow belt, I taught a white belt speed disc. I think the cycle of teaching in this game is so amazing, and although some people don't have voice chat (me included, i can't get it to work), you are able to teach and communicate with only gestures

  • @zemzy10
    @zemzy10 8 месяцев назад +21

    I love the community of rumble. People are just nice to play with. Just the simple fistbump and thumbs up before ant after a match are such a nice gesture. Absolutely the opposite of the COD lobbies we are used to from a long time ago.

    • @kogra9805
      @kogra9805  8 месяцев назад +4

      RUMBLE is still the opposite of a lot of communities. Kinda nice to find a diamond in the rough.
      Even though I never dealt with classic toxic CoD lobbies, I kinda almost miss the games. Too bad I suck at CoD, though.

    In my first match, someone taught me the bullet disk and in my third match, I had the pleasure of passing that knowledge on to another player. The creativity and collaboration, even while trying to be competitive, is simply incredible.

      If you go to any real martial art dojo, you will experience a similar thing
      I recently started at a jiu jitsu dojo, and I was taught the Kimura, a couple of weeks later I am now teaching others the same move
      Ruble vr is incredibly realistic when it comes to a "martial" art if that makes any sense

    Just started the game. my first game was against a black belt he immediately saw I was very new and taught me (with no mic) how to correct my form and how to push blocks. He then showed me some other moves I would learn later and we had a good 1v1. Oc I got destroyed but he helped a lot and I have a strong drive to play the game now knowing I will soon be able to jump around, dash, spawn large walls and blocks and throw them.

    A few things I have to say about this video
    Firstly, this was an incredible video. Not something like Shoeless or Habie, but a unique style on its own. Something calming, yet exciting and fun to watch. Earned a subscribe from me!
    7:28 - It's pretty common etiquette among some of the better players to use the same moves as the belt below when fighting them, but me personally, I would also offer to teach them moves based on their skillset. However, I wouldn't be afraid of stomping them if they so request.
    And finally, don't be afraid to keep training and fighting. It's only through sheer hard work, skill and a touch of talent to become a top player. Every battle, win or loss can teach you something new, so don't give up on this journey, and I'll see you in the ring.

  • @snek529

    As a yellow belt, (i got the game yesterday) it is indeed, quite daunting to see a black belt. But what the black belt fighting me did was, teach me some new ways to use what i had at my disposal, and then fought using the only moves i had. Had a great time. Still lost, but had fun and learned new stuff anyways. Community super wholesome. Left a very positive review.(Edit: I got off youtube cuz this made me want to play more :p Watched 10 more seconds and learned he did the same.)

      Speaking for the entire community, we welcome you with open arms.
      A quick tip to help: Don't strike hard. You'll wear yourself out if you try and put force in your moves. Focus on getting the moves right. "Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast."
      Keep training and fighting, and you'll earn your black belt. Train your basic moves and structures until they're like breathing. Train your specials until they're second-nature to perform. And most importantly, train to understand yourself; your strengths, your weaknesses, your openings, your flaws--understand all of them, and you will be unstoppable.

      @kogra9805 I love the video man,
      Something to note on this, what your saying is what martial artist say, the same thing almost exactly.
      I'm in a jiu just dojo, and have been told by my coach almost the exact same thing. This martial art analysis of this game is gold. From the progression to the skill difference between a new black belt and a seasoned veteran
      The way this video is formatted revealed this to me: the game and its community is literally just a martial art played out in a video game

    I'm very interested in playing this.
    Recently I don't want to spend any more time sitting in a chair than I have to. I like videogames and like to get good at them, but I hate how the better I get at them the worse I get physically, since I work sitting in front of the computer as well.
    I just got back to working out and I surf whenever I can as well, so having such a nice game that demands physical abilities is sick!
    I'll look to get this in the near future. I hope to find brazilian players so we don't have to struggle with ping.
