But I try not to rely on it too much, otherwise it would force me to wait for the effect to trigger, giving my opponent the time to prepare counter moves.

I personally think charge stones should be sidegrades with a significant downside. They'd be a way to add some spice and variety to your gameplay while potentially also making things a bit harder. No stones would be the main way to play the game.They could even include challenge stones with only downsides.

i absolutely agree. most shiftstones just make it a bit annoying or even frustrating to play. volatile is too overpowered in the duell ring, one hit with a volatiled rock and you're out. and charge just makes people spam wall-straight. i like the double jump one, but other than that, I've hardly ever used shiftstones. when they came out, i refused to use them for a while, then someday tried some of them out, and now I'm usually using the double jump one only or none at all. there should be a "no shiftstones" game mode, would get more players to try playing without them.
Hi mostly loved the video just a little bit of feedback as a disabled person the term crutching/crutch to refer to something that is relied on too much can contribute to ableism in the form of making crutches and mobility aids being perceived as things that can just be moved past needing if you work hard enough which is a problem. May I suggest the use of the term over reliance to refer to relying on a singular object too much

Have fun taking tons of damage anyway or dashing at the wrong time with ping XD good video though XD definitely very good points in not using stones to start with so you can actively develop your skills with the game first before spamming one strategy. The strongest rumbler is a versatile rumbler. Though I'm excited to see what others they add down the road so we can hopefully have more "beginner friendly" ones like flow that just add to combos and complexity rather than lock in one strategy.
