    I do not get the 'Overwrite all cells in this column with this formula' tab. Is there any other way I can access it?

      +Matthew Roos Does a little box with a lightning bolt show up when you press enter? If so, click on it and choose the appropriate option.

    why we use $ sin ?

      A $ in front of a cell row or column reference prevents the row or column number from changing when we auto-fill a column of a table. Here's more info: spreadsheetplanet.com/what-does-dollar-sign-mean-in-excel-formulas/

      I believe it is real data, but I'm not 100% sure.
