    My Ulterra did the same thing, the long thru bolts were loose from factory

    That cardboard tube is supposed to hold the brushes back while you slot the armature into place.

    Can you add what exactly you ordered?

      I didn’t hang onto the exact part numbers but they came from Lakeside Marine. I ordered armature, brushes, and seal kit. Each of those were separate. They need your serial number to get the exact parts since parts vary based on years but it’s super easy. I went through the chat on their website and they gave me links to exactly what I needed. Or you can call them and get the same info.

    I had same problem. Gasket failed after 5 years.

      Yep. I think mine went about 6-7 years. It probably would have been smart to change out the seals at some point but I didn’t lol. Then there’s always getting braid wrapped up in there that will blow the seals

    You skipped over the ONE THING I watched to see how you did it.. the springs pushing the brushes has been a nightmare for me
