Early genesis fans hated the success genesis subsequently had because it opened them up to a bigger and bigger audience. They will always push the blame onto Phil as well even though Banks and Rutherford were writing for the eighties as well. Me, well, I'm sick of hearing about it, let's be thankful for all eras of this bloody great band

+MrRedHat well they don't understand what prog means then? Prog is short for progressive rock and Genesis certainly made a progressive career for themselves, if they would of stayed churning out suppers ready clones for years that is not progressive it's staying in the same area so I think they did make progressive rock through the late 70s and early 80s

We were studying for our exams in the last year and we were allowed to have the radio on. This was played several times a day, together with Peter Gabriel's Games Without Frontiers.
It was 40 years ago.

Anche se con Gabriel e hackett era una band cui ha dato tanto alla musica rimasti in tre i genesis hanno lasciato nel cuore tanta bella musica questo brano ti emoziona sempre avete visto Collins all'inizio del video per me la tristezza nei suoi occhi di non aver continuato tutti insieme a regalarci musica vera scritta e suonata con il cuore gli anni passano e sentire quei brani ti rendi conto di aver vissuto un'epoca a cui la musica era musica. Me acuerdo cuando compré el Lp de 2da mano en Parque Rivadavia, año 2008 o por ahí. Llegué a casa y lo puse en el equipo, y este tema me impactó muchísimo. Sentí que me hablaba. Hoy vuelvo a escucharlo y encontrar joyas como Undertow y Burning Rope y confirmo que es un disco fundamental en mi vida.
