What a great performance. Not innovative, but what a pleasure. Fantastic choir with a great chemistry, with fascinating people. Also a highly professional band. And I can listen to it again and again and again. Kudos from Germany to Italy! I would so much love to sing in this choir.
Maybe most other songs in this concert were from the 60s. You cannot deny that this seems to be a wonderful choir with great people. You can see it, you can feel it.
"Many, too many" e' una canzone malinconica dal ritornello drammatico.

Alot of Genesis' music has always been heavenly with such beautiful emotional passages that seem to tug at the heart and soul of us all, thanks Genesis.😎👍
Many Too Many , such a beautiful piece of work with a wonderful message for us all, another great one from the brilliant Mr. Anthony George Banks, timeless music by my favorite band Genesis.😎👍
Great to see the songs being so well appreciated and treated with such respect. Loved it. And this from a fan of 47 years having been to many concerts.
'........And Then There Was Three represents the ending of the post-Peter Gabriel trifecta of 'Wind and Wuthering' (a very English album), 'Trick of the Tail' (an album which studied the nuances of paradoxes and ironies), and finally, '.....And Then There Was Three,' a very tongue-in-cheek title referring to the departure of guitarist Steve Hackett and therefore another challenge for the remaining members of Genesis to confront and overcome ......... Now a lot of whiny purists will huff on and on and bloody crummy on about how '.....And Then There Was Three' was the last great Genesis album falling oblivious to how Genesis did continue to create great songs and great music because like all great bands, Genesis made the decision to evolve their sound versus stay stagnant and becoming a band trapped by its own success. This rendition of Many So Many celebrates simultaneously the bittersweet sorrow of the singer's words and the joys of what the singer has to share with the audience so thank you so very much Studium Canticum for creating such a dynamic and joyous rendition of 'Many Too Many'.
Congratulations! A lot of Genesis music has something to do with classical music, something of the soul-spirit. It is not sung at the same height, it has strong and pianissimo pianos. Sometimes it's heavenly!
@@fryderyk2462 I based my assessment upon everything I saw as well as upon my knowledge of Genesis' history in Italy -- not merely upon prog in general.
yes I thought they weren't from England and not surprised they are from Italy, Genesis have got a big following in Italy, just take a look at that 2007 concert ,dont know how true ,even though it was free there was half a million people there ,I bet it was the drummers idea to sing this song ??😊
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Evan Kabir Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
This cover is very respectful and yet original. Great band job and the (female dominant) choir it's beautiful. The guitar solo is almost like Hackett's doing it.
Beautiful brilliant singing on this masterpiece from Tony Banks , Mike Rutherford and of course Phil Collins , Genesis is one of the best bands ever , their shows were simply great.👍🤙✌️
@@AGGD767 Well, if you've watched the video (kinda why we're all here, I was led to believe), you'll notice that the number of chorus members who have black folders with the Genesis logo on them are many.....many too many, in fact! Nice to see some appreciation for a track off "...and then there were three," which I consider the last great Genesis album, and I often enjoy listening to.
This song generates such an instant positive frequency. From the air, the frequencies pass quickly through the eardrums, travel through the brain tunnels reaching the heart, releasing the hormones of contemplation and joy.
Beautiful. Clearly, not their native language, and yet, music being the universal language, this wonderful presentation is clearly a labor of love by the director. Kudos for pinching me in the feels ❤❤❤
Bravi bravi bravi ! Genesis are my favorite band. I listened to them live for the first time in Paris in 1978. Congratulations! In addition to the freshness and good general organization, I really like how you dosed the choral parts, a real novelty for me as I know practically all the songs of the old Genesis by heart. Good good good!
Ramped-up and modernised such as to have lost much of its original mystique and haunting allure ... however, my eternal gratitude do I extend to those who keep such musical treasures alive! ... ♥️
Fantastic cover of one of Genesis,s best tracks.

Great !!! Genesis ❤
Muito bom!!
Are these people living in Sardinia?
Love it
Ray Dabies has involved a choir in some of his compositins (The KInks) To my knowlege this has never happened with any Beatles tunes
What is this? A tribute? Or what? Can anybody explain?
Written by Mr Banks.
Hermosa canción de Génesis

Love the music, don’t understand the get up. Genesis was not a 60s hippy band.
Maybe most other songs in this concert were from the 60s.

If I was Tony Banks I would be crying tears of Joy.
Me too!
Yes !
So many later Genesis songs sound better all these years later than they did on the albums. This is an absolute delight; the choir makes me cry.
This must be in Italy. It's the only country in which something like this could exist.
YES....WAS IN CAGLIARI CITY..
Prog hommages are also frequent in northern countries. Think you only refer to their outfits or their race...this could be France, or Sweden...

Hackett ?? Steve Hackett left the band in 1977, ( And then there were three has been released in 1978 )in this album Mike Rutherford plays guitar.
