I agree. As a fan also for decades, since 1971 in my case, It is so heartwarming to see young people enjoying the music especially the classic Gabriel and Hackett era.
You can listen a million times the lamia,it remains one of the most beatiful songs of the genesis.i have listened since 1973,today i am still 63 love them.
I totally agree. It is one of their best compositions, and I find this performance extremely moving. I have always liked this music, but somehow, as time goes on I appreciate its greatness more and more.

"Now it's 1:52 am, I'm lying down, reflecting on my life, and I hear my favorite song > "The Lamia", and tears run down my face, my spirit feels like flying free, from my physical body, which in the moment restricts it. I remember listening to "The Lamia" when I was 15 years old, which impacted me in a magical, beautiful way, and that listening to it to this day, I feel the same emotion. And this version of "SLEESH" , with this beautiful voice, and with this excellent musician, it is something that I close my eyes, and I go to beautiful places, carried by my soul, bringing a peace of mind that transcends. Gratitude for being able to feel all this magic, and to these two enlightened beings and talented musicians. I'm a drummer, and every time I play "The Lamia", I get very emotional, I see that teenager again, with long hair, listening to his "GENESIS" double album, at Jardim Botânico, Rua Visconde de Carandaí , close to Rua Pacheco Leão, where Rede Globo is located. Musically and thematically, *_The Lamb_* stands out from the rest of Genesis' albums as a singular achievement. They never created anything quite like it before or after. It is arguably their greatest collective accomplishment.

I really must confess that I really didn't listen to Genesis as my music tastes were very different but when I hear this truly magnificent couple doing there magic with this very beautiful song I can say this is my first time hearing this song and I'm totally blown away the way this lady sings she really is incredible and her partner he really is outstanding as always regardless of what he is playing it's a masterpiece as with this wonderful lady they make you appreciate just how amazing music really is and it really does play a major part in our lives I'm very pleased to say ❤️ ♥️ 💗

I was 14 years old, when I bought the double album that has "The Lamia". I still have the album, and I bought the cd too. This song moves me a lot, moves me to this day and will always move me! ❤

I generally don’t care for covers that involve ‘creativity’. The music isn’t exactly the same but the differences don’t detract. The vocalist is both the same and simultaneously different. I’m liking it.

As a rule, I approach all kinds of covers very carefully and with reserve because, as a musical dinosaur somewhat already lost in modern times, I am very attached to the originals.
With all the more joy and satisfaction I can present and recommend this performance of the classic progressive rock song "The Lamia" by Genesis as well as the entire channel of the singer.
She has a gentle, lyrical voice, but with songs that require stronger expression like "Script For A Jester'sTears" Marillion also manages.
In addition to Genesis or Marillion, there are also Queen, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Steve Hackett, Rush...
And her own compositions, which she also listens really well, and I say this as a well-known fan of progressive and symphonic rock classics.
