Abby: "They sued me because I spoke out for the unborn!" PP: "Actually you stole a xerox machine and many many laptops."
Sara Williamson sounds about right.
But she stole those for the unborn lol
They were for Neil Breen tho
yea, right.
On the whole "filming the patients" thing, these people also put the footage up on sites like RUclips to 'shame' people going into clinics. Sometimes women seeking abortions are pregnant by an abusive boyfriend or spouse, or have abusive parents who would disapprove, etc.. Putting footage of clinic patients online can literally put their lives in danger and has actually resulted in people being murdered. That's why volunteer escorts at clinics will do things like shield patients walking into the clinic with umbrellas, so that protesters can't see their faces or film them.
I'm pretty sure that's why they film them.
Yeah i love how the people who made this film completely ignore that. Also completely ignoring the cases where the baby has no heartbeat, in other words a miscarriage, and the mom has to abort because this baby is not going to come to term anyway and leaving it inside her could either damage her reproductive organs or KILL HER. But that doesn't stop these people from harassing them anyway or even refusing to give them medication even though the moms didn't want this and were fulling intending to carry that kid were it not for the fact that it died. I mean they willfully ignore the fact that sometimes the mom doesn't want the abortion but it's the abortion or death but no they don't give a fuck
Not only that. There are also prepubescent pregnancies, as a result of r*pe. In these cases, the child is highly unlikely to survive giving birth or even carrying a fetus. So outlawing abortion would condemn many actually born children to death.
@@duowest642 They also choose to ignore single women in low income who can barely support themselves, nonetheless a child, who would have to jump through hops to try and find benefits that could take years, resulting in a crap life for both them and the child. Nah, instead, let's make millions exploiting them instead of helping them out.
@DragonBat362 Why not? Consent to sex is NOT consent to pregnancy.
I thought birth control and pelvic examinations would be Planned Parenthoods soda and fries, since they're less costly. But I guess promoting safe sex and birth control in a Christian film is even worse than abortion.
According to a segment on PBS Newshour, while the Trump/Pence administration is working to cut PP funding its increasing funding to women's clinics that don't offer abortion OR birth control. That's in addition to renewed funding for abstinence education in place of traditional sex education.
Since lower income women are the primary clients of such clinics get ready for more poor children needing assistance that the GOP continue to cut.
Topher S what you have to remember is if only people who want to have children have children than that won’t be enough to replace the current working generation. And what happens when a country’s population declines? Immigrants become more and more necessary. The GOP can’t stand for that
@@MadameTamma I doubt that's even true. People (natives, I guess) aren't having kids because they can't afford kids. Tanked economy, failure of a housing market, minimum wage in the toilet, middle/working class jobs becoming more and more obsolete. I would love to be having children, but I can't afford it. And that goes for a huge majority of my generation. But no, don't fix those issues, just force unprepared young women into motherhood. Great plan GOP.
@@MadameTamma yeah let's all just start having kids regardless of our circumstances. MadameTamma, that is just the type of straw-man argument the conservative right has become so consistent at crafting.
I kept yelling that at my phone. It did nothing.

You say that like this movie gives a fuck about being accurate or logical. Come on now.
The entire "Pro-Life" movement is based on lies.
Tell me lies tell me sweet little lies.
@@jessezimmerman4486 No joke, they used to advertise Pro-Life Groups as "Medical Centers" that "Gave the facts about Abortion" to help you "Be sure"
Upon going to the "Medical Center", the women were told that abortion greatly increased their risk of Cancer, and that most women got PTSD from the procedure and later killed themselves. The latter talking point was used for a side-story in Voiceless.
Of course neither of these things are true... and the "Medical Center" was not accredited nor did it even staff anyone with any medical training at all. It was nothing more than a religious group posing as a "Medical Center"
A series of Malpractice and Misrepresentation based lawsuits put an end to this, but the damage was done and the myth of Abortion having "Side-Effects" is still a Right Wing Talking Point to this day

I know it's sad I'm grateful for having relatives who ONLY think that most abortions involve 8 month pregnant women breezily deciding on a whim that they'd rather be un-pregnant in time for bikini season...but hey! At least they think accessible, affordable contraception is good for reducing abortion rates, so I guess it could be worse?

@brandon roberts Right? Because unlike plain white bread, toast is brown. And they can't have that.
Seems like both groups think the same way: A scene where a dozen guys get shot? "Perfectly fine, maybe a bit strong for the younger kids, PG-13."

It is sad that "Abby" had to have two abortions, isn't it? If only she'd had access to birth control. Maybe if there was a clinic she could go to where they provide such services, including pap smears and STI screenings...If only such a place existed.
(Also, if you don't want to work at Planned Parenthood, then just...don't work there. There. That was easy.)
well Abby actually quit her job there. I guess there is some irony in her having had two abortions there, before turning to the other side of the debate.
The flowers on the Planned Parenthood fence is surprisingly strong imagery. Like if that's how some silently protest then that's actually quite thoughtful. Because it looks like a gesture of reaching out and caring. Instead of just you yelling at someone about your beliefs.

@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 So was the abortion ban, seeing the many instances of problems from it, like the 10 year old Ohio rape victim who had to go out of state for it.
@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 It came out poorly aged. It's a massive false equivalency since Planned Parenthood is literally named after a euphemism for abortion, it's not a thing they just do on the side. Granted, they branched out to do a number of other things but the core foundation for why the organization exists is for that specific purpose, everything else came after.

This movie should bookend with the town's HPV rates, before and after.
Actually, looking at this again, it's clear to me that the ease of Abby's "redemption" proves that the filmmakers don't actually see abortion as the killing of a human being. In any other Pureflix film, would a character who'd killed two people end up with a happy family, friends, the respect of their community, and credit with destroying a great evil? No. No one would even raise the question of possibly redeeming that character. But, Abby is redeemed because she went from a "bad" woman who rejects reproduction and formation of nuclear family to a "good" family woman who promotes the nuclear family everywhere.
The film claims its goal is to save human lives, but the actual arc of the story is completely disinterested in that. The true arc of the movie is how a woman learned to behave.
There's another pro life christian movie called loving the bad man about a woman falling in love with the man who raped and impregnated her while he's serving a jail sentence. for the rape. The morality to be found in this genre is terrifying

I don't know what people have against this movie, it's a perfect addition to my "honey, let's explore other holes!" folder.
Anal is the best form of birth control for sexually active people.
It truly blows my mind that there are people who believe this nonsense and take it as gospel.
This movies message is such a straw man argument I saw it asking the Wizard of Oz for a brain!
Friendly reminder that the people who made this movie are completely fine with children being held indefinitely in cages at the border.
Skolney thank you! Then again those children are already alive so you're forgetting that ALL...THEY...NEED! God Almighty will take care of the rest. For who are they to hold their hands out to other dirty terrorists' kids and try to actually help them? They would only be interfering with God's plan. As I always pray 'Jesus, you who were used to torture and suffering, you know better than me what should be done with these children of thee.' I'm only standing by and letting Him work in overly obvious, highly advantageous ways for my racist ass.
So you can't be a leftist *AND* Christian at the same time? Guess I'll have to tell my mother to start voting for Trump in the next election.
@@madcourier6217 No, you can't be pro-State Enforced Pregnancy and a leftist.
Because people looking to cross the border illegally have decided to use their (and oftentimes not actually their) children as bargaining chips in an attempt to game the system. "You can't enforce your immigration laws on MEEEEE, I have my children with me hurr durr". Guess what happens if that actually works? EVERYBODY gunning for the border without going through the proper channels will be sure have children with them for that "ace up their sleeve".
Don't want children separated and housed at border facilities? STOP BRINGING THEM ALONG ON ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSINGS FFS.
@@geoffreysorkin5774 So every Christian is for pro-state enforced pregnancy? That'd be like saying that every Muslim is all for sharia law just because some of them practice it. People need to get their heads out of their asses nowadays and realize that humans tend to be more complicated than "Your X so your obviously Y".
Here's a few of my favorite examples:
A.) "Your a Republican, so you voted for trump and are a trumptard!"
B.) "Your a Democrat, so obviously your a libtard and communist!."
C.) " You can't support the second amendment and want tougher gun laws!"
People can't compromise on anything nowadays when your constantly vilifying the opposition instead of trying to understand each sides views.
Abortion is such a complicated topic, and the cartoonistic characters and lies in this movie aren't helping anyone. Abortion is not a billion dollar industry. Stop.
But, ironically enough, being anti-abortion is a billion dollar industry. Fancy that.
Is there actually money to get from dead fetuses? Like any money that's not trivial? Like I guess labs buy the dead medical waste? I can't see it. From my limited exposure I thought regulations were really careful about not putting price tags on human material like blood, tissue, etc directly. They pay costs for storage, transport, etc.
@@Hyreia Abortion is just like having your period. It's impossible to kill the fetus because it's not alive yet. The baby does not come to life until it's 4-6 weeks old. That's when it's too late to get the abortion.

We need to find a movie with so many evil characters doing evil things so that every other joke the snob does is his evil laugh because I just need to see how far he’s going to with it😂😂😂😂😂
"I guess I hoped that Grace's birth meant the end of all this."
Woman, you're her mother! A mother! That means you actually went through at least one entire pregnancy, which culminated in you giving birth by either squeezing another human through a tiny orifice OR being cut open and having a baby pulled out of your abdomen!!
And yet, somehow you seem to think that pregnancy and birth are SO MUCH AWESOME that the experience automatically results in women wanting to force every other woman to go through it, regardless of how desperately those women might claim that they would rather die than go through pregnancy and birth. And if those women whine about other petty stuff, like how their existing children might starve if they're forced to endure another potentially lethal pregnancy and birth?
Well, all they need is a financially stable, happily married woman (who had a worry-free pregnancy and effortless birth with no permanent bodily disfigurement or damage) to set them straight about the facts of life! And by "set them straight," this movie clearly means, "tell them they don't know what they're talking about, because silly women can't be trusted to make life-altering decisions based on personal experience."
All the bright pink at the Planned Parenthood table! Even their clothes! Yes, because pink is the ONLY color that can ever be used by a women's organization.
Despite it historically being (until relatively recently) a Masculine color.
not surprised sinse this was made by incompetent men
My dad forced me to go to church two Sundays ago and the priest decided to advertise this movie during the goddamn Gospel. I was so pissed, I walked out as soon as the priest explained what the movie was about. This reminded me of one of the reasons why I stopped going to church in the first place.
the last time i attempted to go to church i also walked out in the middle of it, at the point where the pastor was talking about how god was gonna destroy america just like sodom and gomora because we legalized gay marriage
The movie equivalent of yelling bomb in a airport.
@ECKohns No, the First Amendment wouldn't cover yelling "bomb" in an airport, because if you falsely yell "bomb" in an airport, "fire" in a crowded theater, etc., you're inciting unnessecary mass panic that could get people hurt. (ex. people trampling over each other, fighting, rioting, etc.)
“A good god-fearing lake” killed me
The abortion scene that was supposed to be this huge emotional moment made me laugh - the ultrasound was so cartoonish
The new tagline: "What she saw changed everything, well she did this operation millions of times, so I might of changed something, I don't know just watch the movie so we could take your money and achieve more success knowing we'll be making more movies like this"
Wilhelm Scream works with everything.
In case you ever felt bad for Abby at any point. Just know that she uploaded a RUclips video in support of police racially profiling Black People. And yes, that includes her own mixed race son.
Abby is basically a comic book villain that pretends to be a hero...and does it terribly.

Oh no that would against Pureflix's stance on homosexuality which is homophobic as hell.

But then I saw a new Cinema Snob video was up.
I wonder how long this will stay up before the copyright strikes hit. Hopefully they won’t come.
What horrible monster would claim this movie as their own?
Yeah, that would be something we are unplanned for.
You know what I love about the fact that this has an R-rating? It means students at the ironically-named fundie school Liberty University aren't allowed to watch it.
"If anything, it will encourage them to abort."; "Abortions are our fries and soda."
I'm dumbfounded. Someone should sue Pureflix, at this point. They've crossed the damn line, this doesn't come across as free speech any more.
Than it is no longer free speech. Saying that a different opinion doesn’t qualify as free speech means that you don’t support free speech as you don’t that it should be entirely free.
@@GunNr- Right. Because conservatives haven't shut down productions - via FCC - for a lot less. THAT'S having a 'different opinion' and using censorship unfairly. This is the thin line between free speech and hate speech and incitement to violence. Ultimately, it's up to the courts, and should be brought before them.

The film the MPAA doesn't want you to see, according to Glen Beck & Sean Hannity.
Because it's trash, not because of the message.
Because, as all the 10-year-olds who play GTAO will tell you, giving something a hard R or M rating will _toooooooooootally_ prevent anybody from seeing it!
@@somebastardontheinternet Yeah, and giving it an NC-17 rating totally doesn't draw attention to it.

The fact that the script writers could not see the irony in that line shows how tone deaf they are.
Man that My Pillow Guy cameo aged poorly even for this movie.
As someone trying to break into the film industry, these religious films have been a huge inspiration. Whenever I think, "wait, this is terrible," or realize that it might get an R rating, I remember that I could just put in some kind of religious or political message, so I could play the victim.
My church made my family watch this film. My sister is 11 (she was 10 at the time). Do you think she wanted to see the blood scene? No, but the church cares more about spreading their agenda than the people at the church.
At Least She Will Be Pro Life And Appreciate The Value Of Life.
@@Dark_Force_Of_Wishes That's cute you think that. And admirable. But mistaken.
It's pretty messed up that your church was perfectly okay with showing your sister an R rated movie.
