Best idea is to not crash 🤷♂️ frame sliders and engine case savers are all helpful and will reduce damage in most cases. Road rider definitely would benefit from both, frame slider help reduce damage overall and the case savers only saves the engine case.
Nobody plans to crash hence why people install frame sliders and engine covers in case it happens. As The Cleaner mentioned if you crash on the street, the sliders won't help much and might even cause more damage depending on the crash.
@@thesighbored thats true but I believe frame sliders are for those low sides below 60km/h around that kinda speed. Possibly 40km/h highsides. Lets be honest any crash above 100km/h would be bad anyways regardless of frame sliders
Yes frame sliders are meant to protect in low speed or maybe drop while parked kind of situation, at faster speeds the bike would usually be wrecked. Engine covers however function better at higher speeds hence most race bikes have it to protect the engine in case of a low side crash.
I got them from a local seller but those aren't the real deal ones, I think there are shops selling the real ones but I don't know which ones, need to Google search.
