Lost with words on how I feel about finding the Ladies of Sosa ❤ The way you all embrace being South Sudanese is beautiful and encouraging. I am half South Sudanese with all our beautiful features, besides the height 🙄I grew up in America and do not know much about our culture. I spoke with one of the community leaders in my city a year ago and he asked me a similar question that was discussed. He asked about how, being half South Sudanese, do I see our culture in the youth? The question always lingers because begin half South Sudanese I always looked into the community from the outside and loved how cultural it SEEMED. That is the language (Dinka) and traditional parties like weddings. But to answer his question, I felt like as if I were in the middle of the elders and the youth were I look to the elders for guidance within our culture but being so close in age with the youth I have noticed most have adapted to American culture. So, I ask you all, what is true South Sudanese culture? Besides belief, because people are going to believe what they want. And can the culture be shown distinctively in a world that is evolving collectively into the western world culture?

    hello guys,
im a mixed northern-darforian sudanese i want to tell yall that what was happening in south sudan before seperation wasnt spread well by the media all what we saw and heard from the government was ill about yall and how you rebeled to make the country a place where we muslim cant live in comfortable and add to that back then people werent accustomed to social meadia platforms like these days, but at the end sadly for us we became seperate coutries and i know that some northern people are very racist but let me tell you that the youth of the country are coming to acknowledge and embrace there african culture that was robbed by the basheer government and lastly i hope for the growth of all the sudanese comuntiy at he south and the north.
also at the abyie regiona there are the mesayrya and masaleet and other several tribes which dont consider thereselves south sudanese and they share the land with the dinka and not to mention the dinkas tribes there are being masscared by the south sudanese and rebels supported by the governtment and from my pov i see that as the end to the matter the state can be devided between the two countries.
also i want to raise awareness that a country like japan i half the size as south sudan and its has alot of tropical catosrophes add to that a population of 125 million which is 12 time ssd popultion and they dont even have the natural resources south sudan have but they still managed to be the third country in the world in terms of economy, we in africa need to spread that the real wealth isnt in the land but the brain allah gave to every humen and i think that the prime sudan would have had the abbilty to sit on top of the world as a rival to the us,china, russia and the eu countries but no problem after we all finish our ethnical problems let us unite our views and come as one in a federal nation which compounds with the dr jhon grng dimabour views for sudan.
lastly spread peace and love cuz we all come from the same tree.

As a African American man I see no problem with intercultural dating because we all are black at the end of the day. If the African diaspora wants to stop with diaspora war that's one thing you can do. And I've seen a lot of African American just as dark as Sudanese people. I have a lot of that in my family

I definitely think you guys should talk about the migrant situation. i’m not against immigration, but America is very disorganized and they don’t know what to do with the migrants, but they’re just letting them come in at the same time Americans are suffering every day. If this system was more organized for migrants. I would be in support but as of now they need to organize shelter, food, other resources.

It’s so disheartened to see our brothers and sisters in Sudan that are being killed daily, villages been burned, women being r@ped, and more… Darfur, Abyei, Upper and Lower Nile people are South Sudanese and will always be! #Sudan #SouthSudanese 🇸🇸

Definitely talk about migrants in part 2 but be mindful how you discuss immigrants legal or not given the parallels of fleeing conflict as seen in South Sudan

I understand why you wouldn't want to intermarry with other people. A lot of Sudanese would rather be called Arabs even though they would be considered black here .

What really is your point. And is you are not South Sudanese your comment really is a bit offensive . I have never heard any SS called themselves ARAB. East African or Nubian

    • @afree3884

@@real8551Forgive me for the way my comment came off. I was trying to be concise because I was in a hurry. My point is that intermarrying with others could result in the dominant culture taking over, while the other culture is ultimately compromised. For example, as West Africans (I am Liberian and Sierra Leonean), we are highly suspicious of ancient traditional beliefs and customs due to the influence of Christianity and Islam. Much of our culture and ideals have been lost because we were told that traditional beliefs are witchcraft. Similarly, there are many Africans who prefer the Arab identity over the African or black identity. I hope that makes sense, and again, I am sorry for my initial rudeness.

12:30 "Do you ever see Bee go mate with Mosquito"... We are not insects lol. We are one of the most intelligent species on earth... Mosquitos like to draw blood...Bees gather around a Queen Bee that is no longer valuable or fit their bee agendas and they buzz and heat up to get rid of their queen...Insects and I are not the same lol. Just because insects do or don't do what we as a species do, doesn't mean they should be our example. I see where you was going with this point though lmao.
