Ryan is legit one of my favorite characters in The Office. Because you can see BJ Novak writes small arcs for him to go, like his Temp phase, his Hipster phase, his post-Exec phase. Also because his character development is about spiraling downwards lol.
Same. I really like how his character is so pretentious and authentic at the same time 😂 he portrays super well the typical jackass that works at the bank or somewhere in Wall Street. For someone that worked in big cities, for me he is the most realistic character out of all the office. Even more than Jim and Pam who can be found more on mid sized cities. However, if you go into the corporate world, all you see is people like Ryan. It's actually insane and scary at the same time..

I discovered The Office American version in 2020 lockdown. Watching all the clips of Ryan i thought i would hate him,i eventually purchased the entire box set and i LOVED Ryan.
I loved RYAN from the beginning, hated him when he joined corporate, and started loving him again when he went back to not caring about anything. He had one of the best lines every time he was degrading someone indirectly! 🔥
I love defeated Ryan. Once he loses his position at corporate for insider trading and ended up working at a bowling alley of all places. After that Ryan was never the same.
