This particular area was a creek mouth that had a shallow muddy bottom to one side that allowed the reds to sun them selves to warm up with a drop off to the other side and they we stacked on the drop off. This school was further back from this spot the previous time we found them on a slight drop off near a cove. Reds will move but generally stay in the area you initially found them so when you find a school and they aren’t there next time do an in-depth search of the area and they will most likely not be too far unless someone or something blew them out of the area.
This is awesome! What activity or structure did you see that made you choose that area?
