Great video as always. I bought the D62 and the P7, and I ended up returning the D62. I don’t know if I got a bad unit but my D62 had noticeably less bass and lower mids than the P7. It also sounded slightly sibilant to my ears. Overall I found myself enjoying the P7 more which is personal preference of course.
It's been great seeing how many solid and great options have been coming out. It can make choosing hard, but its great there's something pretty much everyone should like with all these releases.
Love the comparison approach. Thin kit's super useful to get a quick idea of how they sound and also to pick the most suitable iem once you've chosen a sound profile you like
Lmao low key there’s just too many, brother Jay. The market is overflowing with decent to good sets and it’s just overwhelming. Every single one of which is HYPED to the moon on forums. These videos cut through the bs. And I appreciate it 🤝
EW300 DSP + a 3.5mm cable might be a great budget set for starters that are sitting on ultra budget or just getting started. Several tuning options, lots of versatility with the tuning Thank you for the video
Cheers to you for doing a giveaway! I’ve never been able to grab any higher-end IEMs, so fingers crossed! I started with the BLON BL-03 way back in 2019.
Thats a comprehensive SPEEDRUN. I opted for the DEUCE with disappointment in shipping and pre-order freebies missing. So at the end chosen ANVIL and its great set with MIDs ❤ outshining the rest. But DAMN this D62 is keep going on my mind.
Kefine Klean is the Truthear Hola sequel we needed (unlike Gate) in terms of price to performance (was as low as $36 during the 11.11 sale which is crazy for what you're getting)
Great video and explanation on each IEM Jay, appreciate it. Gives me some idea of the sound since where I came from don't really have place to sample IEM like e.g The Hangout. Now if only I can buy the more refined set to upgrade without have to sacrificing my kidney... .
I'm surprised you gpt the aoshida on the list, nice, not many have talked about the set yet. As a whole this is definitely a list I can get behind though some of the comparisons between some iems seem a bit strange, but I will take your word for it
i haven't quite got into iems yet in my audio journey , i only have my openback fidelio X2HR headphones that were my introduction into the audiophile hobby , and boy was i blown away with the difference in the sound quality and the veryy detailed treble that i can say was almost non existent before (i wonder if i actually was hearing any treble before listening to them lol) ,and also i started liking hearing all the crackles and the little imperfections in the recordings of some songs , totally new experience and i wonder what else will i discover and hear more if i upgraded them ! can't wait to do so and also get started on the iem train !
Hey Jay, this was a very informative video. I've been debating on whether I should get the EW300 or not. The Kadenz was a bit of a letdown I guess because the design of the iems look super nice.
I'd say out of all of these, the Quarks 2 was the biggest let down. Moondrop had a lot to live up to with the success of the Quarks DSP. They went a different direction with the 2 and honestly, I'm not a fan. I also don't like how they got rid of the 3.5mm variant, so kind of a bummer there
Im speed running i just got into iems a month ago thus far i have 15 pairs ive ordered total i have 3 that came in so far and some that are pre orders but they range from $30 to $1300 with majority being in the $150 to $500 range. I will say so far i prefer the super mix 4 over cheaper and more expensive thus far. Time will tell.
How similar is the KE4 to the Mega5EST? Feel like it’s the same signature except the KE4 gets hyped while the Mega5 gets a “meh”. Perhaps just a pricing issue
I feel chifi iems don't have that 3d image like final audio or campfire iems It sounds like a reverb high fidelity . And when you blast them they punch fast with no distortion like the speaker is going to fall apart.
What’s up Jay! I’m coming back to IEMs after years. do you have any recommendations to upgrade from the er2xr. Really loved them. Only complaint I had was the lack of feeling sub bass but I probably didnt wear them all the way in to be fair. 😅
i wonder because whatever surprises you the most is the one that im interest in the most like the D62 hahahah, but my list really rely on Xuan nv and explorer since i heard about that it automatically added to my list ,damn how to win if youre already giving away big IEMs and i dont deserve that coz im new to this hobby hahhahah p.s looking for an upgrade though
Have you bought D62 and compared it with Sliivo? In prev video I asked Jay about D41 and Sliivo and he said that SM4 and Nova is better value. I was shocked)
I bought hype 4, pilgrim, d62, em10, doscinco and none of them are a night and day difference. If I picked a random one, it would still be good enough. These iems are all already crazy high fidelity, any difference between them is mostly sound signature.
I finally got my Fatfreq x HBB Deuce on Nov 19th after I emailed them, I have not received my unit on Nov 5th, set was ship 12th. hope this help anyone on the same boat I guess. also the set is pretty good I am enjoying it.
I wanna ask if I should get Kiwiear Melody as my first planar for about 40 usd. I currently have hola, zero red, t4+ and dz4 And I just realized what I spent can get me a pair of really decent iem already 😭
Hey, bro, I just got into the hobby and I have a couple of questions. I bought the 7hz Timeless for 160 dollars at a discount, are they still considered good? And besides that, if I want to upgrade, what is the best potential endgame at around 400 dollars?
@jayyaudio Thanks a lot, man, one more thing. I had to choose between the OG Timeless at 160 and Timeless AE at 200. Do you think I made the right choice? And by the best IEM at 350, you mean the Xenns Tea Pro. Is that even better than Moondrop Crinacle Dusk? Also, how do these compare to the Estrella, which one would you go with?
Is the S12 2024 good for the price, I dont see you mention them in the ultimate tearlist. And the Letshuoer E20 if EQ can compete much above their price after EQ? Is that what you mean? If so I may try them next month
I’d wait for the new SIMGOT planar, and as for the E20 if you want a BASSHEAD IEM it’s really good with EQ, arguably just as good as Deuce (check ranking list for EQ settings)
@@jayyaudio thx, waiting for the d62 from hifigo to ship now. i'm guessing the wide tips realy help with the sound, since some other reviews talk about how peaky it can sound

love it when you include what better eartips to use
Ofc
Enjoyed these type of contents. Tier list vids arent for everyone but i sure as hell enjoy it
Go go go!! speed is what I need. Great video Jay, currently using my Deuce with the Bluetooth neck band from Fatfeq. Bass for sure
🏃🏃🏃

Keep going bro 🔥
Thank you bro 🔥🔥

Exactly my thoughts man.
Same here, I think Jay is the only one in the market willing to bring this to light. @Jay, thank-you for allbyou do with the IEM community and TWS 🙌
One of my favorite videos lately!
EW300 DSP + a 3.5mm cable might be a great budget set for starters that are sitting on ultra budget or just getting started. Several tuning options, lots of versatility with the tuning

love these type of videos, really fun to watch. one of my fav reviewers for sure as i move deeper into this hobby 😅

I appreciate that bro
All I want for Christmas is a solid IEM upgrade
Thank you for your reviews, they’ve only taken me deeper into the rabbit hole that is this hobby
This kind of video we love to watch
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! I started with the Truthear Hexas a few years back which brought me into the world of IEMs.
Got the D62 because of your rec, will be here in 2-3 weeks, cant wait to listen in 🎉

No problem!
Thanks for the list! KE4 is definitely one of my favs
Sivga que quite interesting, with that luxury build quality
Just got the Sivga Que today and it is AMAZING for the price.
Best Speedruns in the game. I usually listen at 2x and watch them twice cause its so dense with comparisons.

OG kima was my first ever iem, love that green on the new one.
my first iem was tangzu waner, now i am using epz q1 pro. looking forward to upgrade.... I love being on the hobby.
Those Myer earphones are VERY nice sounding. I have a Pula PA02.

Duce also not just bassy, i heard it also has good production in high frequency area, not for long time listening
Bought the FatFreq Deuce and it was good but returned it because the resin starting cracking even with gentle care.

Recently picked up the Nicehck NX8 wonder how it compares w some of these
Thanks for the recommendation
This year many iem cames in difference price range, one of the fierce competition is in $200-$300 price range
Odyssey is on top of your recommendation, looks like I'm gonna blind buy for it
Hey Jay, this was a very informative video. I've been debating on whether I should get the EW300 or not. The Kadenz was a bit of a letdown I guess because the design of the iems look super nice.
Nice list, I thought the Ignite X is a polished Wyvern Abyss but the tuning seems a bit different
7hz G1 labeled as gaming iem, I'm wondering if it compared to Sonus that already good for gaming
More budget picks please

i've tried the deuce, and it was a great basshead IEM
Great reviews! Which one is the best neutral sound for classical music listening?
Odyssey
always happy when i see ew300 in the recommendation
Thanks for mentioning Kiwi-ears-canta, I think it's very underrated. With the right eartips it has an impressive soundstage.
tempted by the klean, that value

How similar is the KE4 to the Mega5EST? Feel like it’s the same signature except the KE4 gets hyped while the Mega5 gets a “meh”. Perhaps just a pricing issue
KE4 is warmer, bass is better textured and not soft, scales better
Which tier would you put the tangzu x HBB XuanNV
I'm consider buying one of the EW300 or the XuanNV 😶
Rec tier
@jayyaudio thank you, it's very helpfull
For the price you pay, I think the IEMs should come with the best cable and tips they reasonably can.
It is what it is
Niche and Top Tier rank are only a dreams of mine.
Can't really afford those expensive stuffs😂.
Have you tried the HBB X Kiwi Punch? It seems to be a decent tribid.
