The OG was my default planar reco since way back because it scales really well especially once used with the Chord Mojo. Kiwi Ears and Ziigaat have been releasing banger products recently though.
Definitely putting the Timeless 2 on my list, just cuz I don't have a planar IEM. Not sure if I'm into bass like that anymore, but the fact you're comparing the Punch to IEMs worth $800+ might be worth checking out in the future.

I went with Estrellas just to support Jay and kind of regret it. They're good, don't get me wrong, but mine either have broken driver or worst driver flex in history of mankind and no eartip helps it. Accessories are underwhelming to put it mildly. Linsoul support is abysmal to say the least. Should've went with Punch or Tea Pros as i initially thought, dang it.

Between Kiwi Punch and Mega5Est, I easily pick the Punch. Because I can have a clear idea of what specific drivers deliver the sound. I don’t trust any “custom” drivers because of there is no way to search any information of them. I am glad that both Jays and HBB have done their Collaboration with branded drivers❤❤❤

I was never wild about the OG Timeless (not a huge fan of any planar so far tbh) but I'd say its tuning looks better for me than the ET142. Punch looks legit!
I was very excited to get the S12's because of all the hype and praise and...yeah, planar timbre is very much a thing. It also lack in clarity, depth, instrument separation. I tried EQ'ing but nothing makes these exciting/something i want to listen to. Even if Timeless 2 are "refined" i wouldn't hold my breath too much. Just fyi. Im not saying you wont like them moreso lower your expectations. Hope they fit you needs 👍
nice review. kiwi ears 👊 looks beautiful. ive got my hands on aful explorer recently, and i didnt liked it. my previous set was kefine delci and i did the upgrade bc i find delci very thin in the timbre sometimes. explorer solved this problem but sadly the iem have too much sub and mid bass that i find completely overwhelming, even with decent amplification on my fiio ka11. i did a demo of the explorer on my delcis but sounded good. well i guess disappointments are a thing in this hobby. you should listen to 953 from black midi
Even HBB is disassociating from the Deuce at this point.... it's time to move on from even considering it as an option for purchase. Again my concern with these highly contoured and oddly shaped sets will be fit and comfort. I pretty much expect the Timeless 1 & 2 to be "ok" for me on fit but not great as with all fully round designs. I hear that I'm not the only one. The Punch does look good but do want a bit more on the the Mega5est Bass+ VS the Punch... how does it compare in the mid-range and high-end resolution?
I love the deuce, been looking for an EST set the punch might be the 1. Also HBB mentioned that the Punch has the same DD as the Jupiter, so Punch could be baby Jupiter.
Great review. I wonder how many iems could have been saved with nozzles. I also wonder how many companies give you the exact same iems but change out the nozzle to make a profit. It bothers me with over ear headphones especially. Changing earpads can make exceptional headphones sound horrendous.

I would like to have good attack/tight impact on kick drums retaining some sub presence but I don’t need a giant amount of it Wandering how the bass performs against the bajie as well

If you want a warmer sound, less in your face with the sub-bass, Punch is very potent when it comes to sub
