The Snyder cut of Justice League made Steppenwolf one of my favorite DC villains. In fact I never liked him until I saw that version. He was awesome in that movie.

I think in Justice League instead of being a herald for DarkSeid I think Steppenwolf is acting alone and is trying to stage a coop. My ending in my mind is SW will be about to be defeated only to have DarkSeid either save him( to punish him himself) or to kill him in front of JL to show he does not suffer fools and gives them their warning thatvwhem he comes it will be a thousand times WORSE than SW

Killing doomsday with the omega beam would make doomsday super OP when he came back
Interesting note: New Genesis and Apokolips actually exist outside of the DC multiverse, so there’s not 52 different versions of the New Gods. There’s only one Steppenwolf. That’s why he must have been revived following his death on Earth 2 to appear in the Darkseid War on Earth 0.
