The episode from the 2003 series where Leo comes back beaten and broken after trying to fight Shredder's Elite Foot clan members on his own is one of my earliest memories of feeling genuine dread and fear for a fictional character. And then immediately after that, having the Foot clan attack April's place and force the Turtles to escape the city did such a great job of building up the Foot clan as a threat. One of my favourite moments from all the shows I watched as a kid.
The tmnt didn’t grow up like Americans they grew up with a very disciplined upbringing, and that’s what made them so cool. It’s cool to incorporate American teen personality into them to be relatable but it doesn’t work if you lean to far into that
Maybe not my favorite part of the entire franchise, but I absolutely adored Splinter's action scene in Mutant Mayhem. It felt like it was acted by Jackie in his prime, which leads me to believe it was either choreographed by him or people who love him.
My personal favorite moment in the entire franchise is probably the duel between Raph and Leo in TMNT (2007), I’ve always had a soft spot for that movie despite its flaws. I always found their conflict the best part of the film, the fight choreography is solid, and North’s and Taylor’s performances really stand out!
My favorite TMNT moment is from Splinters death in the 2012 series. I know it’s talked about a lot, but I love how they genuinely played the scene straight, no jokes, no funny one liners, just a true emotionally raw scene. And Michelangelo’s reaction was devastating.
Leonardo learning how to be a good leader in rise of the tmnt movie. His arc in that film overall was really satisfying. And watching his growth come together towards the end of the movie felt like a great payoff.
My favorite TMNT moment was in the first live action movie when Splinter talks to Raphael about his anger. As a kid, I had pretty bad anger issues and would lash out. So seeing a father figure like character actually talk to his son about his anger really resonated with me.
My favourite moment comes from 2012 when Leo goes to take the Stealth Bike with Raph saying “the stealth bikes my thing” Leo says “now your thing is sucking it up” with donnie stating “hey, that’s my thing!” I just really love the chemistry they have in that moment and it makes them feel really grounded with how they bounce off of each other like brothers
My favorite on screen Turtles moment actually happened in the new movie. I loved watching New York help the Turtles take down Superfly. Especially Splinter’s reaction to that initially super shaded original New Yorker who came into the light to help him up. :) I love when superhero movies do the “civilians band together to help the hero” thing. It makes me think of the end of the original Raimi Spider-Man bridge scene with Goblin. “YOU GONNA PICK ON A GUY TRYNA SAVE A BUNCH OF KIDS?”
My favorite moments are usually from the 2003 series. When our heroes are talking with normal people and no one freaks out about them. Like when Donnie talks science with a homeless man. Or when Raph sat and talked with a blind woman. Really wish we got more moments like that in later incarnations.
I absolutely ADORE the fact that creators are leaning into raph just being a grappler and just grabbing and slamming anyone he can get his hands around, even this relatively unimposing raph
I don't know if this counts but one of my favorite tmnt moments is the Batman vs Shredder fight from the crossover movie. It's just so well choreographed and perfectly characterises each of them, and the way they adapt to each other it's everything I ever wanted ever since I was a kid
For me my favorite moment from the Turtles was during the Rise of the TMNT Movie when Ralph saves Leo from the Krang, the lighting, editing, music, and expressions perfectly convey the impact this movement has on Leo, made even stronger when you realize that the last thing they did together was fight. My jaw hit the floor when that piece of Ralph's shell was broken, and the threat of the Krang was further heightened. Whenever I think of the movie I always remember Leo's face when he exited the escape pod, unable to stand and struggling to breath, chills.
My favourite TMNT moment is the Leo Vs. Ralph fight from the 2007 movie. The tension between the two mixed with the dark gritty atmosphere really makes it the most memorable scene from any TMNT production.
I genuinely love how they scored the big car chase to Fabulous Secret Powers of all things. Also not necessarily a Turtle Moment but I saw this in theaters with the girl I just started seeing and it was great as we cuddled up next to each other and watched the film
My all time favorite TMNT moment has to be when the turtles reunite with their mother in the second Ghostbusters crossover. After every horrible thing that these kids have been through it was nice seeing them finally get to spend a short but special moment with their mother
This franchise means so much to me. The 2003 Turtles show was the only cartoon that I enjoyed as much as Spider-Man TAS when I was growing up. Just finished rewatching the whole series and it holds up so well. My favorite TMNT moment is probably from the movie, when Raphael returns home from his night out and Splinter sits him down for a talk. That conversation resonated so well with me since I can relate to Raph's intense anger.
I loved the bit in the Rise movie when Leo squared up to Krang on his own in the Rise movie as a final self sacrifice that reflects his gung ho attitude at the beginning of the flick, but juxtaposed by having nothing to prove, rather being a sacrifice play to save both his brothers and the world. And then, what would be a cheap fake out in a lesser story, Michelangelo saving him by unlocking his magic portal powers mere minutes later, explaining how he’ll never give up on his family, I’m crying just thinking about it, 10/10.
My favourite moment is seeing Krang in live action. Out of the shadows is a real mixed bag for a couple of reasons but the way it embraced the sillier aspects of the franchise brought me back to what I loved like all the creepy fun villains the shows would have and how goofy the turtles can be after years of not watching anything turtles related.
This is mostly from recent memory but when (in the rise of the tmnt movie) Leo tricks Krang to be trapped in his dimension and even though Leo was being beaten a pulp imo near death he only thought about his family but along with his family also thinking about him causing Mikey,Raph, and Donnie to use their love and support to bring someone of their family back. Tbh this scene still makes me cry its really touching.
My favorite tmnt moment was in Mutant Mayhem actually when the montage of Splinter learning to be a loving father plays. I always enjoyed Splinter being a wise and proficient samurai rat who treats his sons with respect and honor but something about this Splinter just wanting his kids to come home on time and spending nights watching movies with them and eating pizza is so wholesome and I love this version of the character a lot :)
I really appreciate that the TMNT franchise is a franchise not afraid of taking risks and doing things different. They usually are able to make it work too and this one is no exception.
It is afraid of taking risk if it wasn't afraid of risk we would have a fully faithful comic adaptation on the big screen with nothing from the 80s cartoon
@@jackko21 I think since the 80s cartoon is probably one of the most well known versions of the TMNT if not the most well known everything that sort of sticks to the 80s show is playing it safe. it would be cool to see a fully comic accurate version of the TMNT Mirage comics
Agreed. I am getting a little tired of the safe and boring "superhero" tmnt. I want to see the mirage comics get a proper adaptation at least once. The closet we got to that version was the 2003 tmnt.
Jackie Chan as Splinter is honestly one of the things I'm most excited to see. I grew up with the 2003 series, that'll always be what comes to mind when I think TMNT. Also 2007 movie. The Leo Vs Raph fight is great both for its action and emotion, but I wanna shoutout the part of the movie where Raph fights the tiny alien. Dude gets flung through a door, hit with a frying pan, and a fridge falls on it. It's a highlight of the movie for me. And not to mention "Black Betty" is playing the whole time lmao
My favorite moment hands down is from the 1990 movie and it’s the campfire scene where Splinter’s spirit appears. His “I love you all my sons” line gets me everytime. And seeing Mikey cry after blowing off splinters warning before about having to be able to handle living without him. It’s just so good and I love meaningful moments between the turtles and splinter so that has to me my favorite for sure
My favorite TMNT moment has to be the ending of Mutant Apocolypse in 2012. The world is so desolate and all hope is lost, but all four of the turtles find each other and make the best of it. It shows how strong their brotherhood is and it makes for a bittersweet ending
I haven't been too into TMNT, so I would have to say my favorite Turtles moment is this whole movie. It felt like a perfect blend of things that came before it while also doing it's own thing! Absolute 10/10 in my opinion, go watch it if you haven't already.
It’s a 8/10. 1990 movie is still better. April’s design is just ugly and made her fat. Don’t agree with his opinion on April not feeling like a teenager. Rise April was awesome
I think my favorite TMNT moment has to be Leo absolutely going ham in the battle nexus in Rise to rescue Splinter. I loved how you could so clearly see how in control and relaxed Leo is, and it really showed how much potential he would have as a leader if he just grew up and applied himself rather than always slacking off
I've always loved the fight scene between Leo and Raph in TMNT 2007. The animation was so well down even 15 years later it still looks great. I absolutely adored the Nightwing vs Red Hood feeling of the turtles dynamic in the scene and it made the fight that much more impact full.
My personal favorite tmnt moment is the final battle from the rise movie, Leonardo finally growing and maturing, willing to sacrifice his life to save the world, and you can really feel the build up of raph and Leo’s tension, not just throughout the movie, but just throughout the entirety of rise. Not to mention that the animation is just gorgeous. And krang is such an amazing villain, and the shots they take at each other are actually pretty violent and lethal, like they are really damaged by the end of the fight.
I think my favorite moment from TMNT is the first live action movie where Donatello tries to talk to Michelangelo about the idea of splinter being gone and of course Michelangelo is focused on the pizza man being late, but I think like everyone else I think it was just Michelangelo trying his best not to think about it and distracting himself because when they do lose splinter, he’s the most emotional about it. That’s my favorite moment
My favorite moment is in the scene in the 1990 movie when Mikey and donatello are talking about what splinter said. It just comes to mind when I think about the movie, I love that scene.
Ah man, I will always remember the moment were jack kirby was in the 2000's TMNT show. Donnie met him and Jack made a whole story and world with his book and they traveled to that world, Man, it was a an awesome episode, it was just so creative and very heartfelt at the same time. I love that man. I also love how creative that episode was too in which it harkins back to his past work. It was really nice.
The fact that they actually got teen actors to voice characters was one of the main reasons I was excited for the film. Their handling of teenage kids seems on point.
Yeah the actor that plays Donnie, his voice clearly hasn't dropped yet, since he sounds like a 10 year old. Most 15 year old boys don't sound like that, and it just sounds out of place when the other turtle's voices sound way more mature than Donnie's
I get that donnie has a really high voice but it honestly didn't bother me past the first 5-10 minutes. It's more realistic because not everyone ages at the same pace, also to me they felt more 14 almost 15 or just turned 15 so it makes sense.
when raph goes out on his own in the animated TMNT movie and has the fight in the kitchen with one of the monsters needed for the plot, i love the music choice and how fast paced the animation is. My runner up is when mikey goes sewer boarding after a pizza party (also from the same TMNT movie)
My favorite turtles moment is when Splinter died in the 2012 series i was so sad i literaly cried and when the series ended i cried again with all the main characters watching the sunset and seeing Splinter in the sky
I'm not super connected to the TMNT fandom, so I don't know how hot of a take this is, but I really liked the 2012 show, my favorite moment being from an early episode where Raph fights a mutated spider dude who keeps pissing him off. In the episode Splinter teaches him about breathing in order to calm himself, pushing the anger out "like a flowing river." I was very emotional as a kid and tended to get angry easily, which some kids liked taking advantage of, so seeing Raph be able to ignore the spider's taunts and stay calm was very inspiring and lowkey actually a great teaching moment for me. Obviously I wasn't immediately cured of my anger issues, but it was a vital first step for me and I'll always be grateful to the show for that.
My favorite moment is probably the opening of the first the movie when we first see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the first time I love that scene
My favorite tmnt moment would have to be from Mutant Mayhem where the turtles got into their first fight. Even thought they have learned some form of ninjitsu. They haven’t actually fought anyone up to that point. But they managed to pull through and get their first victory. I honestly love how there some back and forth quips while they were fighting.
Another guy already said this, but the fight with Raph and Leo in TMNT 2007 always stood out to me. It's shockingly emotional and raw considering the movie it's in, and ever since i was 7 I've always remembered the moment Leo knocks his helmet off because it genuinely hurts Leo. I was really into this movie as a kid, and the PS2 tie in game.
My favorite moment is when I first saw the 2012 series and noticed that they keep fighting the same thin robots that made weird noises because I watched recordings of it at my dad’s house instead of watching it in order so it made me not fully be able to get in to ninja turtles so now I’ve researched it and plan on watching one of the shows eventually.
This movie was so terrific!!! Keeping the franchise quality consistently incredible!!! Also very glad the animators were treated well. My favorite tmnt moment is probably idw comics where raph is homeless, sees Casey being beaten by his dad, saves casey, then right after meeting this homeless turtle man Casey invites him to go beat up criminals in an alley
My favorite moment in TMNT movies is the confrontation between Raph and Leo in the 2007 movie. It is shot beautifully with the lighting and their conversation is absolutely perfect. Another of my favorites is in the IDW comics in issue 100. I don't wanna spoil it but it was such a perfect moment between Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki with a final page that brought me to tears.
I love the scenes in the mutant mayhem where they are dreaming of being accepted and find their place in the world. It resonates with a lot of teenagers nowadays
My favorite TMNT moment has to be the elevator scene from the 2014 movie. Not because it’s actually a great scene, but because it’s the only part of what is otherwise a spectacular failure to adapt the Turtles that somewhat understands the brothers’ relationships and why they’re fun to watch.
My favorite Turtles moment is in the 2003 series where Leo cuts the Shredders head off. Yeah it doesn't kill him, but it's framed so badass that i love it
Honestly the conversations that this versions of the TMNT have feels very genuine and natural and I really like that the teens would occasionally talk about nerdy stuff.😺
My favorite moment has to be in issue 1 of the last Ronin when Mikey fails to infiltrate Oroku Hiroto's base and then just gives up and tries to kill himself. You can feel how tired he is from the pain and guilt of losing his whole family and how badly he wants the nightmare to end. Love the exploration of this part of the character's personality
Definitely agree on the turtles having an especially under appreciated rogues gallery. One of my favourite moments in the franchise is Mikey’s solo fight with Hun in #54 of the idw books. Definitely one of my favourite fights in all of comics.
Ironically my favourite scene from the turtles is them in the lift from the first live action movie cause it’s such a sweet moment between the brothers despite them looking hideous
I’m not the most versed turtles fan, only have seen the micheal bay movies, 2012 show, TMNT, some of the comics, and now mutant mayhem, but my favorite moment was definitely the Crime montage of the turtles searching for information on super fly. The animation and music beats made that scene so good!
My favourite TMNT moment is hands down the Shredder vs. TMNT rooftop fight from the OG TMNT movie, the choreography, the ambience, it all comes together to create an amazing moment
My favorite moment in a TMNT movie is probably in Mutant Mayhem when the turtles say that Leo has no rizz. I loved this because as a 21 year old, I can relate to this as I too have no rizz.
My favorite TMNT moment is the campfire scene from the first live action movie. It's a great scene that goes from being comedic to serious and heartfelt quite nicely. Mikey crying when he had been largely the comedic relief of the movie, not really reacting to Splinter's disappearance like Leo or Raph, was really touching.
My favourite tmnt moment is the argument between Raphael and Leo in the 2007 movie because as a kid I thought the fight was cool but then I had a very similar argument with my best friend because we didn’t go to the same school for a year than I came back and was the leader of the friend group and he protested they shouldn’t be one and if there was he’d leave, then recently I rewatched the movie and cried at this part because it was so relatable
My favorite TMNT moment is when Casey and Raph meet up in the 2007 movie. Casey immediately recognizes Raph and they tie up a villian while Youth Like Tigers plays in the background. Such a cool scene because it perfectly establishes the friendship the two have always shared and it transitions nicely to a brief heart to heart the two share with each other (even if Raph falls asleep to Casey's venting at the end of the scene). Fantastic review btw.
Best TMNT movie in my opinion it was amazing definitely going to see it again my favorite TMNT moment was definitely Leo vs Raph on the rooftop because it was a lot of tension between those two and they let it out in a very epic way
My favorite TMNT moment from the franchise has to be when they introduce Agent Bishop in the 2003 series, and have him almost dissect the Turtles in that epic 3-parter in season three. Anyway, great video man, really enjoyed it!
I thought that because the teenage aspect of the characters was so well handled, all the emotional beats hit very well despite the overall comedic tone of the film. (Also my favorite turtle moments are the rise finale, the 2003 leo edgelord arc, and every version of the fight at aprils apartment.)
Really enjoyed the new movie and was legitimately an actual attempt to revamp and modernize the story of the turtles. Kept the main beats but took it in a new direction and it worked really well and I'm totally down to see where this universe goes. And on a personal note I've always like the 1990s movie Raph being taken out and his family gathering and mourning the acting and emotion presented even through large rubber suits is amazing too me even today. The 2023 film deserves its place in the legacy of the turtles.
My Favorite Moment was the 1990's movie with how the Turtles are at the farm, them at the fireplace, talking to their father thinking that it might be the last time they might ever talk to him. Mike crying is what brings that scene together.
One of my favorite TMNT moments might be 2003 season 3 arc where the turtles travel across time and dimensions. I love those episodes so much, especially SAINW. And the reason of why they were glitching was so shocking for me. I also enjoy how 2003 resembles the Mirage comics much more than other iterations.
5:42 My favourite moment in any TMNT THING, is that scene in the first live action TMNT movie in 1990 where Splinter talks with Raphael about his anger and how his brothers and his Master/Father are there for him. I didn’t get it when I was a kid but having grown up more now and exploring my own relationship with anger as an emotion (as well as how I deal with it) provided a lot of emotional catharsis in around being seen by the movie; as well as acting a a way for me to compare what I have access to in terms of support from my family. I’m sure I’ve seen other types of scenes like this, but I don’t know if I can think of one where an angry or troubled character is met with such patience, compassion, warmth and accountability. That AND the score for that scene is incredible, AND the lighting of the scene with the lamp AND the candle is so cool. I just realized in typing this out, that it almost acts as a set up for when the turtles contact splinter later in the film through their use of spirituality and fire. Almost acting like anchor point for raph to remember to be one with his brothers. But yeah that’s my favourite moment in any TMNT media, it as well as the whole movie has helped me a lot to get healthily reflective and in touch with my feelings while still satisfying that very action oriented part of my brain! And thank you for videos Xavier you are one of my favourite creators!!
If I had to pick a favorite moment, it has to be from the 1990 movie where Raph has his heart-to-heart with Splinter. There's just something about seeing the angry hothead being reduced to tears by his father's kindness that just warms my soul. This also extends to the 2007 movie, TMNT, specifically in the moments after the Raph vs Leo fight. Raph takes Leo's swords and admits guilt to Splinter. Splinter is disappointed, yes, but he helps Raph deal with his emotions because that's his son. TMNT is a franchise about family, both the one you're born into and the one you build along the way. I hope the turtles stay around for a long, long time after we're all gone, because in the right hands, these four are truly timeless.
The turtles really capture the energy of teens that sound like they are from a gaming stream compilation. They just riff on each other and have casual chill fun, and like when things sound hype train XD Also that they are teenagers, just bigger kids, and I was REALLY WORRIED for them in the movie! I’m excited and ANXIOUS to see what happens in the sequel because Shredder could either be funny or actually F* K THEM UP SO BAD! :’O
Despite all the wonderful moments in all Turtles comics, movies, tv shows... My gut reaction for favourite is the bit in Rise where Donnie says "Bask-ay ball!" And Raph replies "Donnie, I know you know how to say it." It just made me laugh so hard my tummy hurt and i think about it at least once a day
Id say that my favorite moment of the turtles is when everytime they're brought back they always modernized to the point where you can tell what point of time they came from Its nice to see a movie constantly being made for next generation of kids in each new iteration
My favourite TMNT moment is when they faced Shredder first time on the roof. So cool seeing how menacing Shredder is and how in the end Splinter used Shredder anger against him. Also the shot at the end with Shredding putting his fist up after falling off the builder just chills at it makes it seem he can't be stopped.
I think my favorite moment in all of TMNT is the ending of the first IDW comic, when Raph is reunited with Splinter. Just such a wholesome moment and a great way to truly start the run.
I’m not sure if it’s my FAVORITE TMNT moment, but it’s what came to mind very fast: The “No Diggity” hallway fight from Mutant Mayhem. I love a good Oldboy reference.
My favorite TMNT moment was actually from Mutant Mayhem. SPOILERS: Seeing a version of Leo where he’s less of a leader and more just generally responsible made the ending moment where he rallied the team hit insanely hard, and seeing his brothers’ ribbing dissolve nearly instantly when they realize how inspired they are after Leo’s speech was played basically perfectly.
My favorite tmnt moment has gotta be the 2012 bebop and rocksteady’s transformation. It was rly cool and cathartic seeing that happen after they spent so long building those two characters up. Keep up the great content man! You’re one of my favorite creators :)
My favorite TMNT moment has to be them teaming up and then Splinter subsequently clapping Shredder on the rooftop in the first movie. Its so badass in the most contradictingly bizarre way, that perfectly exemplifies what the turtles are to me.
For some reason the moment that's always stuck with me the most is from early in Eastman & Laird's original run of TMNT. It was during a sort of intermission to the story where the turtles, Casey, and April are all in this farmhouse in the middle of nowhere just recuperating from the last big story arc. There's a moment when Leo (I think it was him) was just standing on the roof of the farmhouse, looking into the moonlight, both taking in the quietude of the moment but also mentally preparing for the storm ahead. It was the moment that really made me fall in love with TMNT. I'd seen both the original and 2003 series as well as the movies before, but it was reading that issue of the comic that I had become fully attached to the characters and their world.
Thanks for the awesome video GM! I think my favorite moment of the Turtles franchise, while not action packed, is the farmhouse scene in the 1990 film. I love the exposition of each turtle, the pure emotions of that part of the film, and how it shows the bonds between the brothers, especially Donny and Mikey.
WOO! Glad you dug this as much as I did. It's a super funny, spectacular ride that feels pretty fresh while also not straying toooo far from established canon (unlike Rise). Speaking of which, my favorite TMNT moment is probably the big battle at the end of Rise Season 1 where the Turtles fight Draxum in the Shredder armor in the baseball field. Not only is it the most gorgeous action sequence in a show with consistently terrific action, but it highlights the show's thesis of the boys not needing to be anyone else besides themselves to be important. I love that episode and scene so much.
Favorite TMNT moment is probably the talk Raphael and Splinter have in the 90's movie. That was my first exposure to the turtles and it's just such a lovingly well put together scene
I, an adult 24 year old man, spent six dollars and drank six beers watching this animated TMNT movie for kids, and I must say I don't regret it at all. Absolutely incredible experience, I highly recommend it, 11/10.
Honestly one of the best moments in a TMNT comic is the final fight in the last ronin, SPOILERS but honestly who ever reads this probably already read it I like how the fight feels so personal and it is but I love that Mikey is giving everything into this fight to win and when he wins and passes away and sees his brothers and splinter. It was beautiful
Perfectly captures the feeling of being teen with angst and anxiety, simply trying to fit in despite their faults.
True true. But in tween form
We’ll I guess Seth Rogen did a better job then Michael bay did
while completely failing to deliver even a Shred(der) of true TMNT nostalgia.
@@SEPHICHI420 I think in the post credit scene, it shows shredder himself so he might appear in a sequel
Splinter fight scenes are always fun. This one was a blast. I loved Jackie Chan in the movie
Damnit this was gonna be my favorite moment. I love that fight so much, both the action and the emotion. It felt shockingly raw to 7 year old me.
First turtle movie I saw in theaters
My favorite TMNT moment is from Splinters death in the 2012 series. I know it’s talked about a lot, but I love how they genuinely played the scene straight, no jokes, no funny one liners, just a true emotionally raw scene. And Michelangelo’s reaction was devastating.
Leonardo learning how to be a good leader in rise of the tmnt movie. His arc in that film overall was really satisfying. And watching his growth come together towards the end of the movie felt like a great payoff.

My all time favorite TMNT moment has to be when the turtles reunite with their mother in the second Ghostbusters crossover. After every horrible thing that these kids have been through it was nice seeing them finally get to spend a short but special moment with their mother
I absolutely love that moment to
This franchise means so much to me.

@@dreamsdeep1076beauty is subjective my man
I think my favorite TMNT moment has to be Leo absolutely going ham in the battle nexus in Rise to rescue Splinter.
That’s my favorite moment
yeah Mikey also took Splinter being gone the hardest when it actually happened.
My favorite moment from any ninja turtles property has to be Leo’s sacrifice in ROTTMNT the movie. That shot of Donnie crying always gets me
My favorite tmnt moment . Is in Batman vs TMNT where Raphael bust out the guys teeth during the fight with the Penguins goons
We have the same favorite moment!!
I freakin love that episode. Need to get the Donatello one shot comic one day
@@basketballfan23 I totally agree!
The fact that they actually got teen actors to voice characters was one of the main reasons I was excited for the film. Their handling of teenage kids seems on point.
But they don't sound like teens they sound like their 5 year olds
@@jackko21 All of the actors are 15-19, and literally only Donny sounds younger than he is.
@@jackko21 The issue might be that you're so used to hearing adults play teens that actual teens sounds too young
My favorite moment is the scene where Leo was fighting the Shredder in the 2012 series, season 2. Idk but that scene really was intense, I loved it
Best scene of all time is easily the rooftop rain scene between Leo and Raph in the TMNT animated film
This film captures the indie spirit of the original comics
I'm not super connected to the TMNT fandom, so I don't know how hot of a take this is, but I really liked the 2012 show, my favorite moment being from an early episode where Raph fights a mutated spider dude who keeps pissing him off.
In the episode Splinter teaches him about breathing in order to calm himself, pushing the anger out "like a flowing river."
I was very emotional as a kid and tended to get angry easily, which some kids liked taking advantage of, so seeing Raph be able to ignore the spider's taunts and stay calm was very inspiring and lowkey actually a great teaching moment for me.
Obviously I wasn't immediately cured of my anger issues, but it was a vital first step for me and I'll always be grateful to the show for that.
My favorite moment is when the TMNT eat pizza. Really bold direction for Michael Bay.
My favorite moment is probably the opening of the first the movie when we first see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the first time I love that scene
But I don’t have a Twitter account. I might have to use my dad’s like I’m gonna win
Best turtles moment? Puppet baby splinter learning his moves from his master and doing them together. Comedy GOLD
Yeah it doesn't kill him, but it's framed so badass that i love it
I loved the turtles' dynamic in this film. I absolutely felt the turtles' constant mocking each other, as one of three brothers.
Love the exploration of this part of the character's personality
my favorite moment was when leo sacrificed himself to trap krang and he's just hugging his picture of his family
I liked when raph and Leo had that showdown on the roof in the animated movie
My favourite TMNT moment is hands down the Shredder vs. TMNT rooftop fight from the OG TMNT movie, the choreography, the ambience, it all comes together to create an amazing moment
My favorite moment in a TMNT movie is probably in Mutant Mayhem when the turtles say that Leo has no rizz. I loved this because as a 21 year old, I can relate to this as I too have no rizz.
The way I look at the end of the movie is the silent arc of Leo jut bein a friend and not tryint to win her heart
I actually am interested by what Jaden smith would be like as one of the turtles, I feel like donnie or mikey would fit well 1:52
Best TMNT movie in my opinion it was amazing definitely going to see it again my favorite TMNT moment was definitely Leo vs Raph on the rooftop because it was a lot of tension between those two and they let it out in a very epic way
My favorite TMNT moment from the franchise has to be when they introduce Agent Bishop in the 2003 series, and have him almost dissect the Turtles in that epic 3-parter in season three. Anyway, great video man, really enjoyed it!
My favorite TMNT moment is when Mikey in 2012, was dancing and dodging moves while splinter tried to hit him. 🤣
Another high quality video from a high quality channel

My favourite moment in any TMNT THING, is that scene in the first live action TMNT movie in 1990 where Splinter talks with Raphael about his anger and how his brothers and his Master/Father are there for him.
"No more inter-species awkward failed romance."
But it’s like the third best thing keeping this series going. 😊 👌
I LOVE THE BLUE
Despite all the wonderful moments in all Turtles comics, movies, tv shows...
My gut reaction for favourite is the bit in Rise where Donnie says
"Bask-ay ball!"
And Raph replies "Donnie, I know you know how to say it." It just made me laugh so hard my tummy hurt and i think about it at least once a day
Mutant Mayhem may be the best TMNT theatrical movie. It’s so good. The art style looks like moving concept art. It’s amazing
My favourite moment is the subway fight in the 1990 movie where Raph saves April, its actually the first ever TMNT scene i’ve ever saw
Id say that my favorite moment of the turtles is when everytime they're brought back they always modernized to the point where you can tell what point of time they came from
Its nice to see a movie constantly being made for next generation of kids in each new iteration
7:59 -12:30 ❤😂love the music in the movie too!🍿🎥🎬📀📼😂🎶🎼🎵🎤
My favourite TMNT moment is when they faced Shredder first time on the roof. So cool seeing how menacing Shredder is and how in the end Splinter used Shredder anger against him. Also the shot at the end with Shredding putting his fist up after falling off the builder just chills at it makes it seem he can't be stopped.
Best turtles movie
I think my favorite moment in all of TMNT is the ending of the first IDW comic, when Raph is reunited with Splinter. Just such a wholesome moment and a great way to truly start the run.
The final battle in the rise finale definitely is up there with some of my favorite moments in the franchise.
I’m not sure if it’s my FAVORITE TMNT moment, but it’s what came to mind very fast: The “No Diggity” hallway fight from Mutant Mayhem. I love a good Oldboy reference.
My favorite TMNT moment was actually from Mutant Mayhem. SPOILERS:
Seeing a version of Leo where he’s less of a leader and more just generally responsible made the ending moment where he rallied the team hit insanely hard, and seeing his brothers’ ribbing dissolve nearly instantly when they realize how inspired they are after Leo’s speech was played basically perfectly.
My favorite tmnt moment has gotta be the 2012 bebop and rocksteady’s transformation. It was rly cool and cathartic seeing that happen after they spent so long building those two characters up. Keep up the great content man! You’re one of my favorite creators :)
Mikey winning battle nexus, then in the next season having to win the rematch definitely takes the Cale for favorite moment.
Cake*
Honestly one of the best moments in a TMNT comic is the final fight in the last ronin, SPOILERS but honestly who ever reads this probably already read it
I like how the fight feels so personal and it is but I love that Mikey is giving everything into this fight to win and when he wins and passes away and sees his brothers and splinter. It was beautiful
