60-80k for a EV that pretty much no one wants is going to be a hard sell, especially when you get a year or couple year old V8 RT or scatpack for less. I can see the prices for the V8 dodges sky rocketing soon
Leasing will be the best option for the EV versions since these models will have a massive depreciation on them, and you'll be able to get out of them easier, once your lease comes to an end.
I like the size, it makes it unique. The least expensive similarly sized NON-SUV is over $90k. And regarding 2-doors nothing similar even exists. Edit: Also the liftback design makes this unique, much more practical than regular sedans
I’ll wait for the ICE version. But with the pricing, I’ll never afford it. Far too expensive. Even compared to its competitors. In general, new cars are way too expensive. But it seems that Dodge, Jeep and Ram are charging way more then their competitors.
Fr, I’m in the market and I would much rather buy a nice rt or scatpack gas. Maybe one day it would be smart to replace them with EV’s but most buyers in the market for the next 10 years would want a v8.
Good news fellow Mopar lovers. They are currently testing out this cars with a V8 fit under the hood. Sources also say a possible hellcat variant may be available.
I can't get excited about it.. something about ev Dodge the previous electrical issues just don't go together and they just didn't nail that rear deck lid
I've owned nothing but dodge since my first car. And i even defended these cars from the hate they were getting but truly its a piece of junk in every way... stellantis has ruined dodge but the market speaks same way all the last call models are rotting because of crazy mark ups same way these will rot because nobody wants overpriced junk. The Hemi will be back as a Hybrid or Hydro engine but it will be back.
Why just not make it burn gas like now? Thare is no reason not to. Dodge is going woke and now must go broke. Any thing other than 8 cylinders burning gasoline is gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I like the body style and the interior. I am not a fan of EVs, but I am curious about the 6 pack ICE version. I do not understand why they combined the glass roof with the upgraded sound system. Upgraded sound system yes; glass roof no.
@@HighTechBull gnx isn't a muscle car really. I'm not saying these won't be fast but just like a gnx they won't be a high output v8. That's like trying to convince me that fake soy burgers are just as good as real ones.

That’s ridiculous, it looks evil. I plug-in a toaster, not a car. I don’t want no V6, I want big gas guzzling loud V8. They shouldn’t use the same names for these cars.
I’m willing to give the new Charger a shot, even the EV version. I’ve yet to drive an EV that is fun and looks good. I like (not love) the new looks. Compared to any Tesla the Charger looks like a real car.
I’m hoping Dodge gets sold to a Company which is not a Woke Dumpster Fire. In the mean time they will need to pry my HEMI Charger from my cold dead hands.
No thanks. Seriously, I think most of us can say we’re tired of these turds popping up in our YT feeds. If we just ignored the vehicles completely, life would actually be a lot better.
This has to be one of the slowest roll outs of a car ever. A 2024MY car not hitting dealer lots until the final days of 2024, when most other makers are already selling 2025MY is strange. They still have the 2023 Charger and Challenger on their website, complete with "Build and Price" options. I will not be buying one of these new electric Chargers, but I would really like to see and experience one in person.... assuming they do actually hit dealer lots. I half suspect they'll just get delayed again until the ICE versions are available. Even then, though, these start at double the price of the old Charger, so how many people are even going to buy these? I hope that, with new Stellantis leadership, things can start to change for the better for old Dodge.
Overpriced EV junk. Anyone stupid enough to buy one of these things better not park it in their garage. You won't even have this golf cart paid off before you have to switch out the batteries, that's if the EV hasn't caught fire yet.
I'm 65 and have purchased many cars over my life and buying a 2024 vehicle in 2025 is crazy! So you'll pay full price and most likely a dealer mark up, if you keep it for a year when you trade it in or try and sell it out right its now two years old and that's what any dealer or person is going to tell you when you try and sell it! I'm not sure who they are trying to fool, looking back when the Corvette was changing body style in 1983 they were having issue with the manufacturing so it didn't come out til 1984 and it was called a 1984 not a 83! Has the world changed that much or are we living in the Twilight Zone?
Evs are so lame 😂 only a Pretentious butt head who wears skinny jeans and drink craft beers lives in gentrified.Apartment in a major city and votes blue no matter who could be so smug as to thank he's smarter than ever one else because he likes ev cars. Its not an ugly design, its just soulless without a hemi.
They FINALLY make a 2 door Charger and it's a fn electric? Hard hard pass! If it doesn't have a hemi then it's crap!
Bring the Hemi back!

They're dreaming on the price of that E-junk.
Still too expensive, No Sale. Love my super comfortable '06 300C. Viva V8's! Paid $11k/50k miles one year ago.
are they axing off the pentastar?
End of what year?
do u think the whole chargers getting stolen will transition with these new ones?
Over priced. Most buyers want gasoline engines. The evil CEO is gone and I'm afraid to say the damage is done, I don't know if Mopar will survive.

add a hemi = sales
They should have released the six pack first, and then have the electric version as an option, I do not understand these new CEOs marketing tactics😂
No thanks I’ll keep my 2013 Charger RT Daytona that I paid 19K for with 61K miles on it when it was purchased 👍
pass
Are they still releasing the Chrysler Airflow?
Good looking but too expensive
Some buzz claims 1/2 are not charging. Chargers….not charging 😵💫
Please don’t buy them right away let the sit so we can get good lease deals
haha I wonder if they will ever sell any of these. Talk about not knowing your customer...sheeesh.

Liked the 1968-1970 inspired body style, but would be even better with the Hemi V8 as a paid homage to the dukes of hazzard.
The beginning of the end for Dodge.....very sad.
