Thanks for the memories. I was stationed at Pond Barracks from 1988 thru 1989. I was a Mortar Man with L-Troop. Pond Barracks and Amberg, Germany are my best memories of the military. Twitty, McKinney, Tueckes, Miller, Gibbons, Mullins, Schoch, and Boyette. We had a great crew!!!!!! I hope you all have done well in life. Toujors Pret!!!!!
lol Fooz, I downloaded almost all of these from what friends put up on the 3/2 ACR Facebook Group... I take NO credit for ANY of the photos.. just the putting this together bro... if I knew who all the photographers were, there'd be a whole list of credits at the end with big thanks going to each of them!
I served with the majority of these bums and the lessons in life which were learned is worth more than any amount of gold. I love each of these guys more now than I did then as I think about our camaraderie and our time together. I just wish the rest of the world could know what it is like for being a group of people from different walks of life and then become more than a family who can literally trust each other in combat. Peace my brothers!
Dude. Those are my platoon brothers in the first half of this video. I was in L Troop from Feb 85 thru Dec 86. Most of the names in the video, I cannot remember, but I remember everyone's face. The names I remember are Flowers, Jeter, Gorney, Williams. Would love to see these guys again. ALWAYS READY!!!

If only i had photos of back when myself... almost all of these came from other guys I served with, Scott Gorney, Dale Troutman, Eddie O'Leary, Troy White and many others out there! Almost shed a tear. It was a little after my time but to see all those young guys and the Pond brings back lots of memories
