Same here, I rly enjoy listening to Cinemassacre compilations when I’m doing a task. James’ pure fascination and love for retro horror is incredibly engaging
As I get older I find myself more drawn to the content that is the real James, either on his own or with his friends, just talking about movies, games etc. I still love AVGN but the videos with him not playing a character stick with me more nowadays.

Sad universal studios couldn't even capture a bit of the greatness that made the original universal monsters films great and instead made films that wish they were the original films.

I'd argue that Bubba Ho-Tep was an important movie, because it proved that indie horror was still artistically and commercially viable in the US.
It was also excellent. I didn't expect a very emotional film about aging and the feeling of being useless and obsolete.

Thanks James for putting all these videos together. It is both a great history lesson in horror films and genuinely fun to remember all the fun times as a kid growing up watching these films.

This is a great compilation. I love the Monster Madness series, it's so much fun to revisit these old movies in a series that is now, itself, long running. Like most of these movies, these reviews really hold up.

Maybe I missed it in one of the cinemassacre reviews, but has James seen the 90s show "100 Years of Horror" ? It's a great show with Christopher Lee as the host.
There's a huge collection here of brilliant actors with historical significance. I loved watching these movies when I was younger and Vincent was definitely my favorite!

I saw House of 1000 Corpses as more of a Horror movie than the Devils Rejects. It just had that classic horror movie setting of teenagers/young adults getting trapped in a house in the middle of no where.

Your totally awesome and I grew up in 80’s movies and love classic horror movies. I would love chat and pick your brains and discuss movies with you for hours. Oh man, growing up with these in elementary and middle school makes it now a seasonal tradition, and there's no better way I can think of spending my halloween than getting some friends together and watching this
UNIVERSAL should re release these Monster Classics using modern 3D effects for a decent 2 week run at theaters near any Universal Park...just too they can't do it this month though?
I've seen this and other monster madness vids a tousend times. They're so good informative and entertaining! Can't wait for the 2018 vids!!
