Ernie Ball 10-52 Heavy Bottoms were my jam back in the day. Who doesn’t have a black Ernie Ball guitar strap that’s never been washed?!?!? Respect ✊🏽 to Ernie Ball

That blue metal flake guitar is definitely to die for! For me, Ernie Ball is definitely synonymous with Power Slinkys. By themselves, they are great. But with drop tuning, you get some grit that will shake your fillings out! Fantastic.
Every one of my guitars stay strung with Ernie Ball. My favorite is my SE Standard 24 with 48-11 strings. It holds tune amazingly. My back up LTD H-301 is strung with Not Even Slinky strings. My drop tuned Schecter C-1 Platinum has a custom gage that goes 54,48,38,28,18 and 14. They all sound amazing and feel spectacular. I've played Ernie Ball strings ever since I started playing 14 years ago and I have no plans on switching.
I have been using Ernie Ball strings for over 20 years. 9's, 10's and just tried the hybrid. I did not know until now that I need a Music man. You, Dan and Mick have costs me thousands. Thank's Josh

My gosh that guitar is beautiful. Ernie Ball products I own is the VP Jr and I exclusively (and religiously) use their strings, especially the Skinny Top Heavy Bottom. Products that I would like to own in the future would be that St Vincent guitar, it just looks gorgeous and sounds amazing (the HH version also sounds incredible), and stingray bass and stingray rs guitar. Ever since I started playing electric guitar i have always used ernieball strings. I have tried other brands but I always go back to the slinkys, they never fail.
Sweet timing!. Just this morning, I was thinking that I've been using Ernie Ball strings for 40 years yet I didn't really know anything about the history of the man or family. And boom! What an incredible legacy. Aside from various gauges of Slinky's, I use the VP and straps. I'd love to own a Luke or St. V. Thanks for this great video!
Proud owner of a Stingray in a gorgeous blue-burst that sounds awesome. They bass will be around long, long after I’m gone. I was in music retail in the early 90s when the last Eddie Van Halen Musicman guitars were being delivered before changing to the ‘Axis’ branding and the frenzy they would cause was palpable. People were outbidding each other and willing to pay retail price if we could get them one, but they were selling the second they came in anyway. Those maple tops were stunning. I always wanted a red one. :)
I bought my youngest son a Silhouette from their Sterling sub range as his first guitar. It’s great and he loves it. I have to say those St Vincent Guitars look fabulous.
As many, been using their strings for ever now. And they make such amercing necks! love them. And would love to own a St. Vincent of course (Stingrays look cools as well).
Great Video, I am Fascinated by the History of this Iconic Co. I started playing guitar using EB Super Slinky’s & now use Regular Slinky’s. I also Play an E.B. StingRay guitar & Tyne it with an EB tuner. It’s a Great American Success Story
That all black noir St. Vincent is the stuff of dreams. I’ve never wanted an all one color guitar ever until that model came out...so, SO cool :) great video as always, they always seem so short though and leave me with questions!!
I have a musicman Steve Morse model. The 4 pickup one. It is inspirational. It sounds like no other guitar. It's build quality is fantastic. I'd love to own a silhouette one day as well. We shall see.

I love Ernie Ball strings, Music Man 7 string guitars my favorite feature is the stereo mag/piezo outputs. I finally have 2 now. The band jokes that I now need a 3rd! I have 1 Music Man HD150 amp. Great video! Interesting story how Ernie Ball pioneered Slinky strings. I just want more styles of Ernie Ball Music Man guitars as 7 string with the mag/piezo outputs.
In 2017 I was out and around for several road weeks in my jaunty jeep "Trusty", and on my way to visit a long time pal, I stopped in at the factory for a Hi, how-wa-ya ! Was treated very well and amazed by all the cool things they're into. Been using EB prods for ever, love the slinkys, run a few 9's, mostly 10's. Got to see the new pedal line a few weeks before they went into distribution. And of course, drool over all the beauties in the showroom. p.s. Bartolini is just around the corner from EB, more drool factor over there, too.
Wow, another awsome video! I own a kinda unique "Emergenza" Axis SS given to me by Beth who was working at EBMM in 2005! One of the best guitars I've ever played with and definitely a keeper!

They're the only 2 guitars I play anymore to the point that I have considered selling every other guitar I have. The Armada is on my radar. I love the way the play, sound and look and they're only guitars I ever felt were worth every penny I paid.
Coincidentally this video came out the same day my Ernie Ball volume pedal is scheduled for delivery. This was a great way to pass the time waiting for the mailman. ....Who just now arrived.

And a great tribute to a man who didn't let failure stop him; and because of that, made the world a better place for guitarists everywhere.
Wellllll, since Ernie Ball was just here, I was so happy to see this pop up today! I use the Ernie Ball VIP Volume, a bunch of their strings, couple of 1/4 cables and these great new Prodigy picks... LOVE this company and hope to have a Lukather model someday... It is the dream... Great vid as always Josh... Josh...

VP jr might still be under my foot when I’m buried. It’s an extension of the electric guitar for me.
I’d like a St Vincent!
I’ve never owned a Music Man in my 30+ years of playing and now I really want one.

I’m a sucker for classic guitar designs but the St Vincent is one of very few contemporary designs that I really really like.
