Hi marion I'm from Syria and i almost cook every single recipe you publish.... I'm actually Muslim so i don't eat pork ... Thanks alot and may God bless you ❤❤
I've been avoiding pork lately, but I'd try turkey or chicken. If u want a richer, fattier broth, use ground beef.
@@reginaldchiles3207 I recently went to a Turkish supermarket and instead of the mixed ground meat that's usually beef + pork they sold a version that was veal + beef. I know that veal is usually less fatty than pork but it worked surprisingly well for the dish I'd had planned, so maybe give that a try? I also often simply mix chicken + beef, which even works well for e.g. meatballs.
Hahaha, the reason you keep saying pork, is because this is basically the pork tantanmen ramen recipe, but with chicken and gochujang. 😜Since I struggle to get the Doubanjiang, I usually make it with gochujang anyway. This has a few moving parts, but it is actually very doable on a Wednesday (or any weekday) if you prep the bits in advance. Have made it many times, can confirm it is delicious 🤤
😂fun drinking game to get through midweek; take a sip every time Marion calls her protein by the wrong name! Love you Marion! You are the highlight of my day!
Hi Marion! I have made Countless recipes from you, I brag about your channel to my friends and family. Everything I have made has been amazing and I have yet to not love anything I've made. I used to get the meal kits and am sad I can no longer get them here in the US, But your recipes and instructions never disappoint and I am so grateful I found your channel! Thank you for all your hard work keeping our lives full of flavor, variety, convenience and fusion!
Hi Marion, you’re one of my all time favorite chefs. I’m from Hong Kong originally, but I live in San Diego, California now. I’ve made your pad see ew woo sen, Hananese chicken and rice, Cambodian kampot pepper beef, Mongolian beef noodles, spicy prawn drunken noodles, Singaporean Laksa noodles, and your mom’s pandan chicken. Everything turned out amazingly delicious every single time. I shared my cooking with my neighbors, and they loved every dish. Thanks for sharing your joy of cooking. 😊
Hello from Southern California. It’s 9:00 Tuesday night.
Love ramen!
Hi there from southern Cali!
St. Louis, MO USA-I've made more of your dishes than I can count. I'm always trying to send people your way. You've taught me so much! Here it's almost half past midnight, but this is the time I have quiet to watch your videos! My grown children love hearing what I've learned from you as they love Asian cooking too!
Thank you Marion from New Orleans LA, USA! Your videos are the number 1 things I cooked during the pandemic! You made Asian cooking so accessible! Thank you!!! I’m giving this a try! ❤
❤ NJ USA. Morning Marion. It’s almost 9 AM EST here. I couldn’t help myself but to chime in. You need to have ALL of your products available to the world. I also “fusionize” my food/cooking. I am like a mad scientist in the kitchen 😅. I did something similar, but used coconut milk and yellow/red curry paste and small strand egg noodles, and minced shrimps and tofu for protein, and sauteed porcini mushrooms. Happy Southeast Asian New Year to you and your family. Miss seeing your lovely mama Noi cooking in the kitchen.
Hey Marion,👋
Watching you from Australia and I have to say you are one of only 4 channels I subscribe to and you are the only chef on that list. I have cooked SOOOO many of your dishes and watch so many of your video's... there is not a single recipe I make where I don't have you video on instructing me the whole way through! You are the most charismatic and easy to follow chef on all of youtube!!! Such infectious enegery.
I recently tried making kao ka moo 🐖which was quite a fun adventure, it turned out quite well but I think I overdid it with cinnamon. I would love to see your interpretation of this dish. Its a great one given the meat is so cheap.
Been following you for years and have always enjoyed your relaxed approach to food, particularly the many substitutions for those of us that may not have Asian ingredients readily available. Thank you for all your videos ❤
My husband is coming home Sunday. He loves my comfort food after a long trip. I'm definitely making this. He will love it.
Marion, you never let me down.
Oh, since bok choy is usually not in my area, I use cabbage or even water chestnuts for a nice crunch. It's about the texture for me.
YUM!! Water chestnuts are always great for the crunch factor!
@@Marionskitchen My mother has used water chestnuts in our Thanksgiving stuffing for decades. It's amazing. I can't have stuffing without it.
I cannot wait to try this!
Hi, I'm watching from South Africa,
It's nighttime now and I've just finished watching your video about your life, changes and making longer videos.
I've been inspired by your fusion cooking videos, like your bolognese. We grow umpteen varieties of chillies and have made your chilli oil, chilli paste and I love all recipes that have chilli in them. Well, hubby more so than me. He is the true chilli addict.....😂
I'm so happy that I've discovered shiritake noodles which are a fantastic sub for your noodle recipes.
Just recently interested in all things wonton/dumpling so will be searching your videos for ideas.
I love your bright bubbly and friendly personality. Wish you all the best in your future ventures❤❤❤
This looks amazing!! I’ll be making it this week!!

Hi Marion, fellow Ozzie here. Just love this and will try it this week. I have to say your beef stir fries are my families absolute favorites. And I just bought a Korean gridle pan which is lightweight, round and has a shallow curve to it. It heats up amazingly on a glass top stove. And its easier to store than a wok.
Im from Melbourne and I love following you. Im going to definitely give this ago
I love all of your recipes.! I make your wontons, both the wet for soup and the regular ones for pan frying. Your char siu pork recipe is so delicious. I have made pork buns with the char siu. A German gal watching from Missouri USA but hoping on going back home next year. Always liked Asian food slowly wanna transform my cooking into the Asian area..I live very rural hoping on getting the ingredients ❤I love your channel!! New subscriber here!!
I love your recipes and presentations ❤ I cooked this for dinner tonight (why wait until Wednesday!). I improvised with PB and some sesame teriyaki sauce. I also air-fried some tofu and added the same seasoning as for the chicken for vegetarian me and used veg broth and coconut milk instead (added a bit of cayenne pepper powder and turmeric for color and oomph! Hubs said it’s the best noodles he has ever had in his life 😳😀 Mind you, he is a terrific cook, a hard food critic, travels and used to fine dining and not easy to impress. 🙏 At most, I usually get sandwich compliments for my cooking! 🙄 Kids and hubs also kept eating the chicken and tofu while the noodles were cooking. I did my deed! Peace out ✌️😅

8:42 am Wednesday on the sunny south-east coast of Sussex in UK. I'm Irish and just love that I have an asian foodstore within walking distance here in Hastings town centre. I need some more gochujang and shaosing wine. After that, I just see which veggies look freshest and cook from there! LOVE all your quick recipes, especially the simplicity of ingredients, as with this one!
