I created a kidizen account tonight, using your code ofc!, and I am excited to start selling on there. I only have a few kids items but I am hoping they do well on Kidizen. Thanks for the advice. Your channel always inspires me to work harder as a reseller!!
I've always viewed selling my daughter's clothes as like not even worth my time. But I watched your interview with Ginger Marvin, used her code to sign up and listed on Kidizen that same day. I made my first sale that night, $10 free shipping. I think it helps that, compared to poshmark, the fees and shipping are so much more reasonable for the types of items being sold. So I only made like 5 dollars, but my kid wore it, and I made more than I would have at a yard sale, because it was just a kids graphic t-shirt. It probably would have sold for like 50 cents at a garage sale.

I just signed up and have only added 2 items. I notice this video is a year old, so maybe things have changed, but everything I’ve looked at has said that the seller pays shipping. That’s different than the other platforms where the seller can choose. Do I have that wrong? Thanks! I love your channel

Similar to lotting the Carters-type brands, I have a running 5/$15 sale in my Poshmark closet. People LOVE this, because they feel like it is a good deal, and it is! Any kid item under $9 is automatically in the 5/$15 sale. I only make $12 per bundle after fees, but that';s way better than what I'd make selling at a garage sale, and less work. Also, it's almost all pure profit, since most of my kids' clothes were gifts from grandparents or thrift store finds to begin with. NWT Carters stuff is typically gone within a day or two. Baby gap usually generates likes, and sells pretty easily. To cut down on time spent, I don't write long descriptions or take tons of pics, but kid items are easy to list. No measurements, etc. If I have something nice like a Patagonia piece, I make sure to price it over $9 and then people know it's not part of the 5/$15 sale. All applicable items have "5/$15" in the item title. I don't buy kid items to sell on PM, because I would barely recoup my cost, but this works really well for me to get rid of the stuff my kids already have and no longer need/wear.
Elizabeth Boren I LOVE this tip! I’ve been putting a lot of my kids stuff in my 4/$25 sale as well! And surprisingly, a decent amount of kids stuff has been selling on Poshmark!

Annette Davis unfortunately you can’t 😭 They don’t show sold listings, which is definitely a con when it comes to listing on kidizen. I would recommend looking at how others are pricing items on kidizen, and if you’re unsure on how to price something, I would use Kidizen’s suggested price.
