I hope the owlbear mauls them. I’ve seen what happens if they “raise” the Gith kid (he is abused), so I hope the owlbear egg I gave them instead teaches them a lesson 😂
If you have Laezel in your party for the quest you can just ask for the egg and I don’t think there was any DC checks for it. You just say you will take it to another “more forgiving” crèche to hatch and he will give you his acid proof boots and you can grab it.
@@elenalizabeth Oh, thank you. I did not visit the hatchery yet. I always killed the lady that wanted to buy the egg and I did not want to steal one. Gith biology is interesting to say the least. Most gith themselves are infertile, only certain gith are "selected" for producing many eggs at the same time. They wouldn't hatch in their own realm due to time no passing the same way there, so the eggs are brought to creches in other realms to hatch.
@@morrigan.admiralova when talking to her after obtaining the egg she specifically refers to the fact how glad she is that "physical intimacy" can be enjoyed without the chance of pregnancy; it's probably quite similar to how most bees don't reproduce either, all that work is done by the queen. Just like with bees the chance to actually have biological offspring is VERY low.
@morrigan.admiralova If they're going completely by 5e lore, (and what I read is actual lore and not some random DM's homebrew) not all Gith women are capable of producing eggs. And the ones that are do so aesexually, so even fertile Giths don't have to worry about surprise pregnancy. If what I read is true, then physical intimacy is purely recreational among the Githyanki race.

Phylactery? So Vlaakith's a lich
She is best girl
an FYI to others. it has to be in her inventory, not in a pack in her inventory!!!! Made the mistake in my first few playthrough of the game
I got the gith egg in the first play through, but I forgot on my second which is the one I’m at now, now I feel bad😭
So you just have to put the egg in her inventory?
I wonder, if you play as a githyanki tav, romance laezel, and give her the egg, what happens? Can you raise it with her?
Yup!
So, how does this work? The egg is the size of those eggs in that Rick and Morty episode that kill they layer....
J'étais tellement triste d'arriver à la fin et c'est vraiment dommage qu'on est pas pu voir l'œuf éclore :c
The fact Xan is my actual name-
I hope we meet xan in bg4 one day
So all i have to do is keep the egg and this happens or?
Explains not how you got to this point. I've had her steal the egg and everything.
Damn Now I need to make another playthrough
So what should we do to get this dialogue? I have the egg with me but didn't get the dialogue
How to get the epilogue where she stays in Faerun? Because I got the one with her projection.
Ask her to stay - there's a persuasion check in the end game
Could tou please do one where Tav keeps the egg and raises it themselves?
Aw man. I liked LaeZel a lot. Sucks to find out she's a single mom now.
why does this suck
@@westcoastwulf Tav ain't playin' another man's saved game.
Oh god I might have started to adore another character..
How to convert Zari to Orpheus?
What was that house that was inside first, please explain ؟
I LOVE HERRRRRRRRRRRRRR
If you took Lae'zel as a romantic partner, does she allow you to help her raise it, like a father?
I gave her the egg but didn't get this scene. Why?
does it changes if you get the gith origin romanced lae'zel ending?
Im sad I didnt give her the egg. I let buddy keep it while I murdered everyone else there.. lol
Hope i can raise the git myself since lazel had a nasty lil encounter with a certain red dressed person😆
So, I gave the owlbrar eggs to the lady, then took the gith egg and its been sitting in my camp. I wonder if it will hatch after the end.
Give the egg to Lae'zel to carry before the end of the game
I hope the owlbear mauls them. I’ve seen what happens if they “raise” the Gith kid (he is abused), so I hope the owlbear egg I gave them instead teaches them a lesson 😂
How did you get that egg in the first place? Did you steal it from the Creche?
You can steal it or convince the hatchery keeper to entrust it to you
If you have Laezel in your party for the quest you can just ask for the egg and I don’t think there was any DC checks for it.
But I guess according what I read, the egg was somehow found to be "too weak" to hatch? Is this right?
In this case, that could be something for my next "good run" to do. Since I would never steal an egg and for example sell it. That I leave over for the bad run guys.
@@What_do_I_Think if you go to the owlbear cave in the first area and take the owlbear egg (it won’t hatch so you might as well take it), then you can hand that woman the owlbear egg instead of thenGith egg, and there is a couple of dialogue options like “they don’t know what a Gith egg looks like do they” or “yeah it is a Gith egg you just have never seen one before”, and then she gives you gold and takes the owlbear egg.
And if you want you can just go pickpocket her after (not sure if you can get the egg back though) and then kill her anyway if you want 🤷♀️
I’m not sure if it was “too weak” or just was taking longer to hatch then it was meant to 🤔
@@elenalizabeth Thanks never wanted to sell her any egg. Even that owlbear egg is still in my inventory -- but does not hatch. I am just wondering, how to get a son for Laezel without doing bad things ... like stealing an egg.
To get this do you have to steal the egg?
She looks so happy 😭😭😭
Xan.....kriegor?
How do you trigger these 😢
Wow I crush the egg oof
What if Tav keeps the egg?
A githyanki child is found near the elfsong tavern. We don't actually get to adopt it. A shame.
@@kamigami6796So noted. Shadowheart and I will be entrusting it to Lae'zel, then as we take the Owlbear egg and the cub with us as we go settle down on a cottage farmstead
Whaaat? Aww :( I really wanted to raise it.@@kamigami6796
Orpheus clams you stole an egg from his people and its not mentioned again. You gotta have it in lae zels inventory
She's gorgeous when she's happy. Needs to put on a few pounds though.
Why do ppl gotta spoil everything with these titles 💀
Better than click bait titles 🙄
bah... so its not her own child?
The Githyanki don't really have 'their own children' this is the closest thing to a son she could possibly have
Gith biology is interesting to say the least. Most gith themselves are infertile, only certain gith are "selected" for producing many eggs at the same time. They wouldn't hatch in their own realm due to time no passing the same way there, so the eggs are brought to creches in other realms to hatch.
@@cwilken826oh, didn’t know that 👀 but, is Laezel infertile for sure? Can she make her own eggs if she decides so?
@@morrigan.admiralova when talking to her after obtaining the egg she specifically refers to the fact how glad she is that "physical intimacy" can be enjoyed without the chance of pregnancy; it's probably quite similar to how most bees don't reproduce either, all that work is done by the queen. Just like with bees the chance to actually have biological offspring is VERY low.
@morrigan.admiralova
If they're going completely by 5e lore, (and what I read is actual lore and not some random DM's homebrew) not all Gith women are capable of producing eggs. And the ones that are do so aesexually, so even fertile Giths don't have to worry about surprise pregnancy.
If what I read is true, then physical intimacy is purely recreational among the Githyanki race.
Ha ha, Xan, what a name... 🥲
It just reminded me how I miss my fav grumpy elf from BG1 :P
