To those who don't know, the time frame Baldur's Gate 3 is set in the Forgotten Realms is a very interesting one. The drow of Menzoberranzan are going through a civil war, there are drow who are questioning their blind loyalty to Lolth and are trying to liberate themselves from her, and now the githyanki are doing the same against Vlaakith.
And it’s only a few years after the second sundering, where Aber and Toril split once more and many of the gods, including the dead three, were revived.
Especially since her "ascension" ends with her getting hollowed out and ending up as an empty husk loyal to Vlaakith in mind, body, and soul. It's the same with Shadowheart if she becomes a Dark Justicier.
That smile she gives Tav when she offers her hand as she rides the dragon. Between that and Tav's arms around her during the ride, I'm sure she was a very happy githyanki
It'd be cool if there was an end specifically involving origin laezel x wyll. Imagine Xan and his adopted sister lilly, besides origin laezel ascending to godhood with gale: I think that would be an awesome end.
Wait, who became a mindflayer in your team? When I played, the only options were: keep the emperor (but kill Orpheus), turn Orpheus into a mindflayer or turn into a mindflayer myself. There was no option to turn nobody into a mind flayer, while also having Orpheus free. Is this a mod?

So you can get this ending by freeing Orpheus and not forcing him to turn or Karlach to turn? i guess gale has to blow himself up? does he still do it if you told him not to in act 1 or 2? what about Wyll going with Karlach to get her soul back?
How! I have 2 saves going on one is origin astarion, one is origin lae'zel ❤ i want to romance them ❤ but idk if i can take him as ascendant astarion with origin laezel or have origin astarion go with romanced laezel ❤
Can confirm. Orpheus became ilithid, we killed the netherbrain together. Then, on the docks, my character killed him and he entrusted the fate of the githyanki to lae'zel. Before killing him, I said I'd join her, and he tells us to call his dragons.
It's complicated. You need to get the emperor's tadpole and get Gale's promise to blow himself up in the astral plane, then piss the emperor off so he leaves. When I tired this I couldn't find a dialogue path for the last part so I ended up hitting the attack button. With both of those you can tell Orpheus that you'll defer the decision to become a mind flayer if Gale's stuff doesn't work out. (If you don't have the emperor's tadpole Orpheus will transform himself). At the brainstem, make gale go boom as usual. Incidentally if you're like me and don't want to play the full finale as a mind flayer, reloading file in this state at the brain stem is a perfect way to get the ceremorphosis achievement in less than five minutes.

My Karlach died, yes. But there are ways to keep her around. I had the option of having my mate's origin Wyll follow her to Avernus, which would have kept her alive.
@@Praetorian349Good to know, thank you!! I was considering whether I should romance Lae'zel as my Tav has a lot in common with her, but I wasn't sure whether the romance would "stick" if you didn't go with her, so this was very helpful!

I'm really glad Larian added this to the game, i've tried doing a playthrough with a gith character but it never got very far.
Little known fact: RFK Jr is a cancelled origin character for a hypothetical Baudler's Gate 4 that takes place after the brain worms have died.
Is so good see Lae' Zel smile...she has been trough much shit her entire life, she deserves the best!

didnt expect kylo ren gonna be the next ruler of gith empire
Not ruler, consort to Orpheus' new commander of his honor guard.
YOU EXLODED GALE
Honestly the best ending. No one is forced to become a filthy Mind Flayer and Gale finds peace.
idk why but this cracked me up. not “YOU SACRIFICED GALE??” OR “YOU LET GALE SACRIFICE HIMSELF???”, but “YOU EXPLODED GALE” 😂😂😂

If you play origin Lae'zel and romance Wyll and let Karlach die you can
Laezel is the true romance
What happens to Karlach in this ending? Since you fly away before her cutscene should trigger.
It shows the beginning of her cutscene then cuts off - if you convince wyll to go to avernus early on she lives
Ah, by the way, in my playthroughs Voss just disappears on me.
Could you tell me how do I keep him in my story??
i need a guide for this ending its perfect for her she finds a partner shes in love with and they fight side by side helping her people
Can i still fly off with her if Orpheus is a mindflayer?
Yes you can
Also if you aree a mindflayer
does this new option require lae'zel to be romanced? Or just high approval?
I lost my modded save so this is cathartic to see ty

I don't know how he did this, but in my playthrough Karlaach volunteered, since she was going to die and did not want to return to hell.

I guess that if you are a Squid you can't do that.
You absolutely can. Orpheus comments on it but says it may be an advantage.

Presumably karlach becomes a mindflayer in this scenario

do you have to sacrafice gale or can karlack turn ilithid for this to work?
You can have Karlach turn Illithid for this to work too.

Yes, a Githyanki was able to follow her to the Astral Plane before patch 6, now they've made it that any race can.

As long as Wyll is the Blade of Avernus he will convince Karlach to go to Avernus with him offscreen.

Kinda long distance, yeah. :P you speak to her hologram at the epilogue party and she talks about missing you.
