  • It has been revealed that Sadiq Khan's Deputy Mayor for the Environment, Shirley Rodrigues sought to interfere with scientists hired by the Mayor's office. Sadiq Khan relies upon their research as evidence to back up his unpopular Londonwide ULEZ expansion.
    At the London Assembly's Plenary, Peter Fortune AM seconded a motion condemning the Mayor and his team's behaviour, and calling for ULEZ to be cancelled as a result.
    Only the Conservatives on the London Assembly voted to support this motion.

      Seriously, I'm half French, half English. At 12 months old, went to live in France. Came back to UK at 10yrs old. The main thing I remember about my schooling was the pride they took in the Révolution. The message was still being taught back then: people in power get too drunk on it, you revolt.

      Because people keep voting for them. So long a the two parties are allowed to monopolise councils this will never improve. Voters need to drop their allegiances to Blue and Red and vote for independents.

    Could someone do research on air quality caused by brake dust, as carbon brakes would mean that carbon from brakes would never bring down the carbon emissions.

      @mikesgamingcox1331 Год назад

      @annother3350 thats the underground we probably breathe out most of the carbon in the underground, but then you take into accounts the brakes on the trains which will have carbon brakes make it worse.

    • @mikesgamingcox1331
      @mikesgamingcox1331 Год назад +1

      @annother3350 So then they should charge for electronic vehicles to then, because they use the brakes a lot more than petrol, its not its all based on exhaust fumes. Otherwise, they would he charging ev's a tax to.
