Getting re-elected has made him even more arrogant as he believes he is untouchable, this is the situation when people get positions largely based on 'demographics' than skills, experience or competence.

Mayor said he didn’t want to give running commentary on the consultation yet hired a 3rd party to help drum up support at a material cost of over 100k that he isn’t aware of! His own staff having weekly meetings regarding ULEZ and he once again isn’t aware of this. There is a real case of misconduct here

@@robertwillis4061 it was actually 160k just for marketing during the consultation targeting 35 year olds and below! He commissioned this, he signed this off and says he is unaware of this. Torys just need to dig deeper into this about how public money is being spent without the Mayors knowledge (or so he says)

Disgusting and disgraceful, but that’s what we expect from Khan. More importantly what’s going to be done about it. I would have expected at least, resignation from a public servant proved to have not been telling the truth. Or alternatively, forced removal from the job for the same reason. PLUS the scrapping of the ULEZ extension. After all, the mayor himself said that ULEZ would not go ahead if the consultation showed the majority were against it.

It's clear that Khan believes he can do whatever he wants and the opinions of the public are just an inconvenience to him and can be overlooked or covered up. I would say that to have people like that in a position of power is very worrying.
