That is why I would like to see a "One Strike & Out" law brought into out statutes. If they lie, or refuse to answer questions put to them, then sack them on the spot.
He's an expert in deflection. When he does that you know you are on to something and should keep pressing for clarity and evidence.

That is why those who question Khan do not force him to answer all their question. The best thing to say to Khan is, if you are not going to answer our question then we will request that he is sacked with the immediate affect. They should then have security remove him.
He has a degree in the art of "filibustering"; avoiding and deflecting as much as possible in order to avoid having to state the truth of any matter.
To be a good liar you have to have a good memory. Strange that he recalls things differently from the actual stated facts confirmed by meetings, minutes and emails. I really hope you go as far as you can on this. Even to legal proceedings if necessary, I would like to see Khan give evidence under oath. This is the opportunity to rid London of this odious little man.
He doesn't need to get the story straight, sadly he is untouchable. The mayoral office should have been designed with a mechanism the government can put it into special measures if its deemed under-performing for example. On the many times Khan has had to be baled out by the government they could have removed or neutered him with it.
Calling him "odious" is a compliment to him.

This is why they all should sign a legally binding document when becoming a politician, to swear they will tell the truth and nothing but the truth when being questioned by government committees, and most of all, their election promises. If any of them do not implement all the promises within one year of taking office, they are sacked on the spot and we have an emergency election by voting on the government website.

I find it astonishing that he is still in charge of London. Can people not see what’s happening to our city. He hates these situations where questions are fired at him because he normally knows what the questions are before he holds an interview, so he’s well prepared with the answers and normally it’s someone else’s fault, never once has he ever admitted to making a mistake .

This is the worst Mayor our great City of London has ever had in its entire history. A photo-opportunity seeking charlatan. A man who, in this meeting, constantly avoided eye-contact as he wriggled and squirmed and tried his best to avoid answering any question. A man who claimed, repeatedly, that HE was the decision maker yet also said he knew NOTHING, had been told NOTHING, was aware of NOTHING and had no idea that TFL were in regular contact with senior member of his team, including his head of communication. A man who has mislead the public over ULEZ, claiming his aim is to clean-up London's air. However, if people pay his extortionate £12.50p per day charge, they can still drive into London. So, if all the people who work in London, and who do not have the means to buy a new car, are forced to still drive in, then there will be not one iota of difference to the air quality and all that WILL change, is that Sadiq Khan's Greater London Authority, the GLA, will fill its coffers with money wrested from the poor. The man is a disgrace and should hang his head in shame. Unfortunately, the man HAS no shame.

Only 40% of the eligible voters bothered to vote in 2021. Of those only about 40% voted for him. ERGO less than 20% of Londoners want him as Mayor, the other 80% don't want him, or don't care. That is why we end up with so many self serving Politicians.
