Dynamic loft is a huge factor also , how you present the face to the ball, For my i swing at 100, with a 8degree driver and still struggle to keep dynamic loft down
Not to neglect club head acceleration during impact. Top club head speed is to be reached AFTER impact. This provides more ball compression and subsequent elastic rebound. Another reason why high handicappers don't hit as far because their club head may be slowing down as they contact the ball.
