I remember that when Fran opens the door at the end Judy Garland started to sing the Trolley Song, why did they change it?? It was so hilllarious, now not so much.
I think the person who uploaded this used the version from the DVD set (which I also have). Some songs like the Trolley song were swapped out throughout the episodes due to copyright limitations. Stupid, I know, people who know this episode and the actual song used will be thinking "what the...?"
I'm sure David was delighted he got to get away with the line "Seventeen is meat!"
"Seventeen years and no children - but we keep trying!"
RIP
David Lander

Love that we now know whatever happened to Lenny and Squiggy.
Lenny and Squiggy were a perfect couple.
This is one of the best episodes of the series.
OMG, this is the best.

Hes in Laverne and Shirley

It would be the dvd edit, yep. I find the song swap jarring as well, it's a bummer.
Then the the payoff with Maxwell gifting Fran the Judy Garland CD at the very end of the episode falls a bit flat.
Ooo now it made sense.I find it weird too.
Laverne and Shirley’s place was much bigger.
Yeah, this moderately big, affordable apartment in the middle of New York is truly disgusting! 😂
Squiggy learning he was gay by 1978.
What's the title of the song at the end again? This is the international home video version. The US version plays a different "gay" song.
I thought it was a Judy Garland song.
@@nicoleackerman205 Yes and I remember it being Clang Clang went the Trolley.
