Tip: If you tape the socket to the extension, it will prevent it from getting stuck on the spark plug when you install the new ones. Also, use dielectric grease on the inside of the wires, and anti-seize on the threads of the plugs.
So hand-strength-wise is it hard to pull them out? I put new ones in….but it didn’t fix the problem so I want to try to take them back if Advanced Auto will allow.
have you ever had the plugs stuck in the 3.7 engine? I've heard some people had to have the spark plug hole heli coiled due to thread damage on removal
Thank you for the video I have a misfire on Cylinder 6. I have replaced the coil so far...still missing.. Today I'm going to attempt the spark plug and the wire.. any advice would be greatly appreciated
We ended up figuring out it was the computer it was registering misfires when it wasn't misfiring we paid a guy on the black market to reprogram it so none of the lights will ever come back on so we can get it inspected😂
Just put 4 brake rotors and ceramic pads on my wife’s 2011 Nitro. Now, the very next day, I get a P0300 and a P0302. 😅 Edit: TRQ makes a 10 piece tune-up kit, includes 3 coils, wires, and plugs all for $120.00 before taxes and shipping.. not bad.
I notice you had slight difficulty putting the Spark Plug 5 on at 4:40. Did you have to put it at a certain angle. Because it’s kind of pain putting that same spark plug in with my Nitro. The exact same spark plug. How did you end up getting it on finally?
As long as you have a magnetic spark plug socket it should still be straight forward. I just didn’t start threading it with my fingers first I went with the ratchet first so it took longer. 6 inch extension comes in handy
@@mechdjango3490 I’ve been trying for a day now. All points are leading to the fact that my head for that one spark plug hole may be stripped. But the old one came out just fine, it just won’t go back in, old or new spark plug. All other 5 Spark Plugs went in just fine.
Can anyone tell me the order the leads connect? I took the leads off with out checking, no i don't know which goes to which. There are no numbers on it, its an aftermarket one. Thanks
@@mechdjango3490 thanks alot my man. Number 1 is the front coil yes? I got the firing order just want to confirm number 1 is the first front coild. Cheers.
U might be the only video that shows the left side being done!💪🙏
Nice tutorial, thanks! BTW, love the picture/video quality. Almost like being there looking over your shoulder!

No thankfully I haven't but I usually warn people if it's a common issue with said engine.

And the old spark plugs don’t look like they’re stripped either.
Will it thread at all or does it just get stuck?
@@mechdjango3490 It seems like the spark plugs want to catch on to the threads but for some reason it won’t catch
Could u tell me where I can find the fuel filter in nitro pls?
