    It's funny, every video I watch shows just how easy it is to do the drivers side plugs, none of them including yourself shows the difficulties of the passenger side replacement. Thanks for video.

      If I remember correctly on the passenger side you probably just need a wobble joint for the socket for hard to reach areas

    hey, I want to thank you. I am no "grease monkey," hate getting dirty, don't like using my hands for work (I'm one of those), and know jack and s**t about cars.
    but this video gave me the courage I needed to diagnose and fix a P0305 code on my 2008 Nitro.
    Replaced all the plugs and coils as I am 100% sure it had never been done. And!!! I made a rookie mistake and didn't check all the wiring harnesses. So got to figure that out, too!
    I'm 44 and really was proud of myself.
    guarantee that the second extension on the front plug on the passenger side will save a lot of heartache. I learned the excruciatingly hard way.

      Way to go Ken
      Glad that you were able to fix it.
      I would definitely take it easy and watch or research before doing any repair on your own. Just always want to make sure it’s something you want to tackle before getting into.
      Especially when the car is in pieces and it’s the only vehicle you have.
      I’m goin to start to add a disclaimer that this is for entertainment and not necessarily how to videos. I’m just a guy tinkering with my suv trying to keep it in good maintenance so I can take family trips and chauffeur my son to school.
      I’m continue as far as I can. Once we get the suspension, trans filter replaced passenger seat sensors calibrated, new front tires and 4 tpms sensors changed. Then maybe I’ll tackle body work and paint. That’s my turning point is exactly painting a vehicle and having it look good.

    That was an Outstanding demonstration! I needed that, kept getting a printout that my 6 cylinder needs to be replaced, I thought it was bad gas, because how it was idling kinda rough. Hopefully this is all I need to do. Thanks, appreciate the video. I have a 2008 Nitro 3.7

    Great video. Clear viewing and to the point. How often should the plugs be changed. Thank you

      There is a recommendation in the owners manual
      I believe some dodge are every 50,000 miles.
      I read online the nitro is recommended every 30,000 miles
      Best to look it up.

    Thanks for this vid! This is my next project.....Do you have to disconnect the battery to do this?

    • @aricwithautoreplay
      @aricwithautoreplay  2 года назад +1

      Technically you do not have to since the vehicle ignition switch will be off and the ignition circuit will be off also. Although it’s always good practice to disconnect the battery whenever working on anything electrical.

    How do you clear a TPMS showing on the dash and all tires are filled to proper amt ? I have a 08 nitro 3.7 .. Previous owner put all new tires on .. noticed 3 had actual valve stems .. not tpms stems .. but 1 tire did have tpms valve .. it looks kinds old .. should i replace the 1 tpms stem w/ a new one and maybe that'll clear the light ?

    • @aricwithautoreplay
      @aricwithautoreplay  Год назад

      You need all new tpms sensors
      Best to go to somewhere like discount tires

    • @tccolella5337
      @tccolella5337 Год назад

      @@aricwithautoreplay I have 4 new tpms valves ... I'm thinkin replacing all 4 would hopefully clear that icon ..

    Thanks a lot I have a white nitro & I got a red bolt light that comes on after 20 minutes of turning the truck on hopefully I can use your video to cure the problem....also I was wondering could you do a video on brake light indicator shut off & factory alarm disarming & disconecting

    • @aricwithautoreplay

      Hello mohamad thanks for watching the video. Glad I maybe to help.
      As far as the electronic throttle body. You may want to try to reset the gas pedal with the car first before replacing to see if that helps. Ill look into the brake light and alarm to see how to make videos for that. Send me a video of your issue.
      FROM YOURJEEPGUIDE.COM
      “To reset it, turn your key to on without starting the car. Next, depress the gas pedal all the way to the floor then let it up again.
      Next, start up your car and press down the throttle to see if your Jeep responds. If you keep having issues with the throttle and the red lightning bolt light remains on, you will need to have a mechanic look at it and get it sorted.
      Conclusion
      The ETC light coming on is not usually cause for major concern but it does need you to pay attention to it. You can still drive your Jeep but make sure to take care of the issue by doing a reset or having a mechanic look at it.
      If the light starts to flash on and off though, it means you definitely need to take care of it as soon as possible
