HOLY COW! "Gary Come Home" played during a time when my dog, Stormie, went missing for four days right up until Christmas Eve. And because it's such an ear worm, it tormented me every day while I looked for her. Thankfully, on Christmas Eve we found Stormie over 5 miles away and she is back to her happy self. But that song will never be the same for me again!

The old lady did not want to eat her snails. She overfed them to the point where they died. (this was even more ironic because the reason Gary ran away was that he was hungry and spongebob didnt feed him. So then he finds a woman who persisted to feed him too much.)
Domonique Campbell trust me i watch this episode everyday with my 2 year old. she did eat all the snails she over fed them so they would be fat so she would eat them that’s why all the empty shells fell out the closet and they all screamed run at Gary from inside the picture.
I guess that does make sense ... since all the shells were in the closet so she must have put them there herself. mmmkay
I still don't agree she was going to eat him. I think the empty shells were just the remnants of her past overfed pets, like one might keep a collar. I also think you're overthinking the "run" bit.
Yeah the shells were most likely the remains of her snails who passed away.

I enjoyed “My Best Friend Plank” for its very retro look and sound and really fit with Johnny 2x4’s upbringing of being a flower child.
I also liked “Gary Come Home”, but was sad you didn’t add “Sweet Sweet Victory” on there as your thumbnail implied. That one rocked my 80’s world ^o^

Abby xD same I just thought she feed the snails too much, they cracked out of their shells, and she left them on the streets without shells because every snail with shells that looked like Gary's she wanted to keep in her closet. Idk. Didn't think *that* much about what she might've done with the snails afterwards.
