I want to thank you for aknowledging Kamp krusty as one of the best episodes. it is truly one of those episodes with classic jokes, and an intresting plot that keeps you intrested the whole time. I love that episode and it keeps a special place in my heart.
Trash of the Titans is my favorite, Homerpalozza, Homer against city of New York, the Rodney Dangerfield episode is great, Spinal tap "Good night Springton, there will be no encore!" Also the episode where Homer's eyes get pecked by his crows and he gets medical marijuana. Haven't seen many episodes since about seasoon 14
The episode "Mother Simpson"'s ending makes me bawl my eyes out and is generally my favorite Simpsons moment. Taking a character like Homer (who is typically so silly and stupid and outrageous) and reuniting him with his long lost mother just hits me hard. When she leaves again and Homer, instead of returning home, just sits on his car and stares into the stars having such a "real" moment to himself just kills me! So powerful.
Seeing modern episodes on a top 10 Simpsons episodes list is... actually kind of refreshing. I'll admit, I'm one of those people who kinda gave up on the series at a certain point after the new writers took over, but what few modern episodes I've seen have been pretty good, so it's nice to see a long-time Simpsons fans at least acknowledge that good ones exist in this day and age.
+alex kanyima You'd be expecting way too much from the writers to do such a thing. With newer animation, there's tons of new things to do that are great in their own way that's unique from the old seasons. I mean, just look at Halloween of Horror! March 12, 2016, 6:44pm
+alex kanyima The truth is, when you look at Sex, Pies, and Idiot Scrapes, you realize that Modern The Simpsons is great in its own way from Classic The Simpsons. It's not bad, it's just good in its own new different way. So what if times have changed? That doesn't stop them from still being on the air. Oh, and happy Pie Day! March 14, 2016, 7:53am
My favorite episode is 'and Maggie Makes Three' The last few moments of the episode is heartbreaking, seeing the acid rain eat away his bowling jacket like even mother nature can't stand to see him have happiness. But then it ends off with a bunch of photos of Maggie tapped over the demeaning sign mr. Burns put up to humiliate and deman him and turn it into a source of inspiration is just touching. Simpsons to me was at it's best when it mixed both humor and drama and the early seasons had the best mix of this for me.
I remember there was an episode where Bart sells his soul. Frankly, I thought it was one of the most powerful episodes I've ever seen. It's too bad Bart's evolution as a character didn't carry on in future episodes, but to see him actually full of remorse and desperation after parting with what essentially made him human has stuck with me for years. There was also that amazing quote Lisa recited to him about how individuals earn their souls through suffering and prayer...or something like that. I'm not a religious practitioner, but it's relieving to know that life isn't entirely hopeless. It also showed just how strongly Bart and Lisa are loyal to one another, so huge plus there.
+kensredemption The best part of that episode is when Milhouse goes 'Why would religion lie Bart? What would they have to gain?' - immediately cuts to Reverend Lovejoy pouring money into a coin-sorter
Bart and Lisa are my fav characters, they're like Flanders and Homer working together. Lisa used to bring reason and seeking justice to the series while Bart used to bring steet-wise pranks and jokes with some good morals. The episode here bart meets a boy with an eagle who committed suicide is one of my favorite. I generally like episodes where Bart and Lisa get challenged to conform to the society and even if they give in for a while, they find their way to their original calling. That's why Lisa goes Gaga is absolute shit.
Surprised no one mentioned it: Bart Sells His Soul! Both hilarious and dark, and most notably the episode with "In the Garden of Eden" and "Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag". Hardly any episode hits that many fronts in one.
@Kenny McCormick that was always one of my favorites, and i’m not exactly sure why. I think it’s something with the concept of elementary school kids driving across the country. The side story of Homer and Lisa was also nice and unexpected.
10:Sunday Cruddy Sunday 9:Lisa Gets An A 8:Kamp Krusty 7:138th Episode Spectacular 6:Trash Of The Titans 5:New York Vs Homer Simpson 4:Lisa's First Word 3:30 Minutes Over Tokyo 2:22 Short Films About Springfield 1:Mr Plow
One of the best episodes of all time has to be "Bart Gets an F." It had heart, because it showed that Bart really tried to study for his test, even studying through a snow day. That moment when he got another failing grade and broke down crying because he realized that he was going to be held back... THAT is what is missing from the more modern Sinpson's episodes.
The idea of having a child I think was really well done in And Maggie Makes Three, where you see the frustration and fear that Homer goes through, because at the moment, everything in his life is set perfectly and he was able to quit his job. But with the upcoming birth of Maggie, he realizes that he cannot work at his dream job and has to go to is old job. Even though he is frustrated and one can argue that the episode kind of shows the negative aspect of having a child, it also shows the positive aspects of it too. Homer isn't cruel and you also see that he is willing to make all these sacrifices for his family, and his soon to be born daughter. In the end, it is a very heartwarming ending, and I think it captures what most fathers or mothers are willing to do for the sake of their children. It's hard for me to pick a complete favorite, but I think this one is, along with Mother Simpson.
I think that the best episode is the one that has krusty arrested because it's that strong sense you get when you realize that that idol isn't who we thought they were much like Lisa's feelings about the democracy!
If I had to, and I mean HAD TO, I'd pick Last Exit to Springfield as my favorite ever. It's just an endless cascade of classic jokes and quotable lines. So long Dental Plan!

"Do it for her" goddamn if I don't cry every single time. There was a lot of emotional episodes in seasons 2 and 3 that are fantastic, but seasons 6 and 7 perfected the blend of inspired, nutty jokes and those perfect emotional moments that ring so true. I'm really shocked there weren't any from those seasons on this list!
+Matt “Spider-Matt” Thornton You know it's not actually him right? It's a good episode, though. You see they got a sound alike to do the voice, but Jackson did some of the song parts without the staff knowing. To this day, they can't tell if the singer is the sound alike or actually him. I don't know why, but for some reason Jackson wasn't allowed in the episode.
+Shwah Gamers That isn't true... Michael Jackson was in that episode, but for contractual reasons he was Credited as John Jay Smith. The singing was the only part they did use a sound alike (Kipp Lennon) for.
+Shwah Gamers And also, their music editor confirmed the singing used in the episode was Kipp Lennon and not Jackson. And how the hell could Jackson have done the song parts without the staff knowing...? So yeah, everything you said was wrong, sorry.
Maximusringrock I learned what I said from TopTenMemes video on facts about the Simpsons. I don't know when the video was made but he puts a lot of research into his videos. As for how the staff wouldn't have known, I'm sure there would have been a way. But it doesn't really matter anyway.
+Shwah Gamers Then TopTenMemes is wrong, because it is Jackson who voices Leon and Kipp Lennon who does the singing. Jackson was the second celebrity to appear on The Simpsons and after he used a pseudonym the writers decided that celebrities shouldn't do that anymore and even began having most of them play themselves. The reason why Jackson didn't do the signing? Some say because of legal-rights and others say it was to fool his family to think it was in fact him signing. But he did voice the character and it is one of the best and mindful episodes ever.
Bart Gets An F Cape Feare Homer at the Bat Separate Vocations Lisa's First Word Itchy and Scratchy Land Homer vs. the 18th Amendment Behind the Laughter Das Bus Rosebud
My favorite episode, and the episode that got me to watch and fall in love with the Simpsons was Lisa's Substitute. I'm not even a big Lisa fan, but Dustin Hoffman and her's interactions were some of the sweetest and heartwarming scenes I had seen in a cartoon. I never knew Simpsons could be so sweet and charming before this episode and I'm so grateful it made me want to watch more.
Top 10 Simpsons Episodes in My Opinion: 1. Bart Gets an F (Season 2, Episode 1) 2. Marge vs The Monorail 3. Last Exit to Springfield 4. The Springfield Files 5. You Only Get to Move Twice 6. The Dad-Feelings Limited (Season 32, Episode 11) 7. Krusty Gets Busted (Season 1, Episode 12) 8. 9. 10.
Homer gets a gun, You only move twice, Stone Cutters, Medical marihuana And the one where Homer goes to the Chili cook off and ends up on that journey to find his soul mate are a few of my favs / funniest.
I'm not even that big a fan of Lisa, but my favorite episode is "Lisa The Vegetarian." That one is PACKED with jokes (including the short school film "Meat & You" and Homer's BBBQ) from start to finish. I'm surprised that's not on your list being the Lisa fan you are! :)
The way I see it, The Simpsons have already been classified as two different series by both fans and the general public. "Classic Simpsons" is what most people call seasons 1-7. A lot of people claim the show dropped off after this point. Whether this is true or not, it does do something very unique for the show. Even if it were to last a HUNDRED seasons, it doesn't really effect what people consider "Classic Simpsons". It's as though the series has already been bookended and nothing can negatively effect how people remember the series. I personally still really enjoy the series. I'm sure if I were to take the time to look back at the end of each week at what I've watched, it'll likely be my favorite. I personally don't want to see this series go anywhere so long as the cast and writers are enjoying themselves.
Well, that doesn't mean they're too horrible to be on DVD. They already released Season 20 for the show's 20th anniversary when only seasons 1 through 12 were already out. April 21, 2016, 1:16pm
I like watching the simpsons, the classics were mostly awesome, and between the classics and the episodes aired around the 2000's were alright as well including some great episodes. But since the mid-late 2000's the episodes have been meh, some do stand out as good like the ones mentioned in this video, but some are diabolically bad like that lisa lady gaga one. I don't think the Simpsons will ever reach the greatness of the classics back in the day and would miss it if it did ever finish, but also would not be disappointed if it did.
1. Cape feare 2. Marge vs the monorail 3. Homer's enemy 4. Last exit to Springfield 5. Homer goes to college 6. You only move twice 7. Homer at the bat 8. Deep space homer 9. Who shot mr burns ? 10. Brother from another series
I know this is an old video, and there's probably no way in hell you'll see this comment Phantom, but i was wondering whether you considered putting these of my personal favourites when you made this list. Stark Raving Dad - it has Michael Jackson in it and when him and Bart come together to sing the "Happy Birthday Lisa" song it's so heart-warming and wonderful Behind the Laughter - just a in general funny fourth-wall breaking episode Who Shot Mr Burns - Honestly *shocked* this wasn't on the list. Probably the most classic episode of the simpsons. I remember them constantly showing re-runs of this and it never getting old. Felt like you should have put this in. Although it's your opinion lol. Bart Sells his Soul - while this one is more of a personal favourite between me and my family (as we often make references to it in our daily lives), it *loved* this episode. While the premise of Bart selling his soul for some dinosaur soak-up toys and then desperately trying to get it back from Milhouse after learning he can no longer laugh at Itchy and Scratchy is funny, the real fantastic part of the episode comes from when Moe opens "Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag". So many classic jokes and lines that never get old, from when Moe constantly has to do the Happy Birthday song for kids with boiling hot fries on his head, to classic lines such as: Marge: "Road Signs? Indoors? ooookaaay!", or Tod Flanders: "Owww, my freakin ears!". It's just a classic episode, especially when Moe loses it from having to keep it constantly family friendly lmao. Anyway, hope you end up reading this essay even though you most likely won't.
My favorite episode was the one featuring Michael Jackson (I forgot what it’s called). It was such a sweet reality of the episode and honestly just a bright outlook on the world. It made me feel like humanity has a chance.
Homer's Enemy? Hurricane Neddy? One Fish, Two Fish, Blow fish, Blue Fish? Homer the Smithers? Marge vs. Monorail? Homer's Triple Bypass? Rosebud? Homer Badman? Bart vs Australia? The City of New York vs Homer Simpson?
For someone who likes Lisa so much, I'm surprised he didn't put "Lisa's Substitute" here. Four Finger Discount described it as possibly the best Simpsons episode ever made and they're probably right. The last 10-15 minutes are some of the best moment's they've ever done, especially the scene where Lisa screams at Homer, labelling him a 'baboon'.
My favorite simpsons episodes are .Krusty gets busted .cape fear .Homer vs the 18th amendment .Mr plow .Lisa’s first word .mother Simpson .the Bob next door .Bart gets an F .who shot mr Burns .Homers enemy
"the last best thing" is a very sad and dramatic episode that looks on mortality as homer is told he only has 24 hours to live. it's heart reaching despite how we know it's gonna end, it's the thoughts of if he had died which grabs my attention and tells me that the simpsons nor I will be around forever
Homer's Enemy will always be the best. It just exists to point out all the flaws in Homer's character but he somehow comes out more charming because of it. Brilliant writing.
"Lisa's Substitute" is probably my favourite episode of The Simpsons. Dustin Hoffman is just wonderful as Mr. Bergstrom. It always leaves me with a happy, everlasting feeling by the end and I'll forever love it. Excellent list, Phantom Strider. And yes, "Lisa Goes Gaga" IS the worst Simpsons episode of all-time. Just shit.
+SkillBilly YT The only decent website that shows the simpsons for free got those tittles messed up he might of got the tittles from that webstie and messed up aswell
+CanadianGamingKing also other countries may get different titles, due to obsure cant use in the usa reasons. many films and books, including usa made ones, change their titles for usa market only.
I think one of my favourite episodes had to be "Bart the Lover" because it showcased the need to be loved which is something we can all relate to when it comes to Edna. Plus, a showed a side to Bart that we don't often see. Sure, he did a bad thing by impersonating a man interested in Edna through letters, but he not only made up for his mistake and cleaned up his mess, he also did something wonderful for her. Bart made Edna feel happy and that she was deserving of love. To me, that was the best thing Bart ever did for anyone even though it is a secret and it was his initial intention. And even that within itself can be taken as something. Sometimes, we do greater things for people than we realise by bringing some joy and hope even if that was not our initial intention.
James Woods guesting in that one episode of The Simpsons, clever and witty spoof of himself, naturing fitting in with the world around him whilst making us aware he is not a native springfieldianite. James Woods guesting on Family Guy? a low-brow mockery of not just himself, but of celebrity and Hollywood as a whole. Shows how valuable good writing can be.
+Dick Head I don't know, American Dad is still consistently funny and is particularly better than Family Guy. I can't really think of any horrible American Dad episodes off the top of my head.
Shwah Gamers I agree, although Volume 10 I have imported from the States is probably my least favorite season and I skip one or two of the episodes, I still don't class any of them terrible. Plus always in the mood for it but Family Guy just makes me think of an obnoxious kid on too many colourings.
+Shwah Gamers srsly? ever since they left fox, that show has degraded to no funny, "we must have that educative ending" shit as family guy used to be in first seasons
Cape Feare, Krusty Gets Busted, Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment, Mr. Plow, Homer at the Bat, Marge vs. the Monorail, Flaming Moe's, Tree house of horror V, Bart vs. Australia, Radio Bart, Lisa on Ice, Homer's Enemy, Lisa the Vegetarian and She of little faith are some of my favorites. Yes I know the list is long, and I left out stuff like Who Shot Mr. Burns.
I can't remember the name of this one, but I really like the episode where Lisa starts doing crosswords. It's a really powerful episode towards Lisa's relationship with her dad.
Nice list. Good season variety. I have hardly watched any more modern Simpsons, but might check out some of season 20. I really like Lisa episodes too from the old shows, so I am surprised that you didn't have the vegetarian episode in this list. There are so many great episodes though. I love many of the early ones that Krusty and Lionel Hutz were prominent in.
Thinking back on "The Ned Zone," I think most of Flanders' visions ended being self-fullfilling prophecies. It's most prevelant when he tries to stop Homer from blowing up Springfield, fullfilling two of his own prophecies just from that action alone. Honestly, if he hadn't freaked out and gone to stop Homer, neither of his visions would've come true, and he'd have absolutely nothing to worry about! Let that sink in! Not that I really blame him, as he didn't have that ability quite long enough to make this connection.
Two of my absolute favourites are Homers Enemy and The Last temptation of Homer. They talked about some really interesting issues, ones which don't get talked about that much compared to other messages, but they're also really funny and iconic from start to end
1. Last Exit to Springfield 2. Marge vs. the Monorail 3. 22 Short Films about Springfield 4. Homer's Enemy 5 Homer Goes to College 6. Deep Space Homer 7, Cape Feare 8. Kamp Krusty 9. $pringfield (or How to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling.) 10. Homer vs the 18th Amendment (Honourable mentions: Rosebud, Mother Simpson, Flaming Moe's, Treehouse of Horror: The Shinning, Homer and Apu, Run Lisa Run, Homer's Phobia, Bart of Darkness, Homer the Heretic, Lemon of Troy, Homer the Great, The Cartridge Family)
Why does everybody hate Lisa? I think it's my favourite character from the first seasons: she's young and naïve but fights for what she thinks it's fair, even though she realizes some things are impossible, but even then she doesn't give up to life. Yeah, she becomes irritating in the last seasons, but doesn't every other character become that? At first Bart was a brave boy, only wanting to have fun, but with a kind heart; now he's just a bully. Homer was dumb from the start, but he was also a caring and sometimes sensible dad; now he's just a plain idiot.
because Lisa is the smart voice of reason and we'd rather idolize idiocy. Smart, moral people make us feel stupid and insensible, so we hate on them. Look at the state of the Western world and tell me I'm wrong...
Lisa is my favorite character along with Bart. Lisa is the voice of reason, clever, caring and inspiring. Bart is a street-wise, trouble-maker but who cares deeply for his family. The episodes where both Lisa and Bart are challenged and sometimes seem to sell-out their ideas are the best. I like their team work too, as in the episode there their school gets divided into girls' and boys' quarters and Bart helps Lisa transform into a boy. I also liked episode with Bart's best friend who committed suicide, Lisa against Malibu Stacey, Bart sells his soul, and of course where Homer meets Michael Jackson's impersonator and Bart creates a birthday song with him for Lisa.
@@miaferrari958 reminds me of how in Dexter's lab, Dee Dee gets all the luck despite being a dumb and irritating girl. (I don't hate her but goodness me she needs to get her clue that her brother doesn't like girly things) Yes I'm aware Dexter deserved karma at times for being rude to his sister and a know it all, BUT i think a lot of his treatment was unfair due to the fact some of the times bad things happened to him were just for no reason. I also hate the fact society thinks people ruled by emotions and heart should be the one listened too rather than logical minds...
When he said "bullshit" I gasped 😂 I've been playing his videos in the background while working for a little over a week now and I've heard MANY videos (keep it up BTW I love them) but I haven't heard Strider say a word like that until now. 😂😂😂 Love it.
+TheBfutgreg I love the bit where he knocks Bunt to the ground by the vending machine. "Homer, when you go home tonight there's gonna be another storey on your house".
My Top 10 ( In no specific Order) - Cape Feare - Lisa’s Substitute - Homer at the Bat - Last Exit To Springfield - Who Shot Mr. Burns Parts 1 and 2 - You Only Move Twice - Homers Enemy - Homer The Great - And Maggie Makes Three - 22 Short Films About Springfield
Mikoyo15 i separate the good from bad by the animation. therefore, anything before season 21. but your argument is definitely (in my opinion) where the show started to fall apart
Al Jean once said that the greatest episode was called "Lisa's substitute'. It's the one where she has a crush on her substitute teacher Mr. Bergstrom voiced by Dustin Hoffman. Try and watch the DVD version with the commentary on. The writers and producers are genius.
All of my all time favorite episodes have Sideshow Bob in them. My all time favorite is (sorry I can't remember the title) the one where Sideshow Bob tries to change and works on the Dam with his brother who is the villain of that episode
i think the episode is called 'brother from another series' bc sideshow bob is voiced by kelsey grammar who plays fraiser in fraiser, and the guy who voices sideshow bobs brother is voiced by the guy who plays niles in fraiser who is fraisers brother #funfact
i totally share your opinion on modern simpsons! i think my favorites are homer the smithers, 22 short films, and i really liked halloween of horror from last season? there are a ton more i like i will not list them all here lmao
my favorite and most watched would always be homer's enemy. but this is a solid list. its just so hard to choose over more than 2 decades worth of episodes. truly an iconic series, and certainly something that has gotten me through tough times.
Marge vs. the Monorail and Mayored to the Mob (Mark Hamill in "Guys and Dolls", dressed in his Star Wars duds, as Nathan Detroit singing and dancing. And Homer as Mayor Quimby's bodyguard.), some of my absolute favorite episodes.
Kinda surprised "Bart Gets an F" wasn't on the list. It's a very endearing episode and it really humanized Bart for me.
Wow my favs are bart the genius and bart gets an f
skudzer1985 that one is my favorite

I want to thank you for aknowledging Kamp krusty as one of the best episodes. it is truly one of those episodes with classic jokes, and an intresting plot that keeps you intrested the whole time. I love that episode and it keeps a special place in my heart.
Good list
Trash of the Titans is my favorite, Homerpalozza, Homer against city of New York, the Rodney Dangerfield episode is great, Spinal tap "Good night Springton, there will be no encore!" Also the episode where Homer's eyes get pecked by his crows and he gets medical marijuana. Haven't seen many episodes since about seasoon 14
my favorite might be this little wiggy mainly because ralph is hilarious
I also love the 22 short films, Frink at the end is great
The episode "Mother Simpson"'s ending makes me bawl my eyes out and is generally my favorite Simpsons moment. Taking a character like Homer (who is typically so silly and stupid and outrageous) and reuniting him with his long lost mother just hits me hard. When she leaves again and Homer, instead of returning home, just sits on his car and stares into the stars having such a "real" moment to himself just kills me! So powerful.
Flaming Moe`s, The Springfield Files, And Maggie Makes Three, Homer Badman...
Bart the lover, marge vs the monorail,Bart gets an F
Seeing modern episodes on a top 10 Simpsons episodes list is... actually kind of refreshing. I'll admit, I'm one of those people who kinda gave up on the series at a certain point after the new writers took over, but what few modern episodes I've seen have been pretty good, so it's nice to see a long-time Simpsons fans at least acknowledge that good ones exist in this day and age.
I think the new seasons range from meh to good. They just don't live up to the older ones.
+Honest Slug because they can't , it is impossible to recreate the same peak
+alex kanyima You'd be expecting way too much from the writers to do such a thing. With newer animation, there's tons of new things to do that are great in their own way that's unique from the old seasons. I mean, just look at Halloween of Horror! March 12, 2016, 6:44pm
Adam Kalb it Is not the same simpsons anymore
+alex kanyima The truth is, when you look at Sex, Pies, and Idiot Scrapes, you realize that Modern The Simpsons is great in its own way from Classic The Simpsons. It's not bad, it's just good in its own new different way. So what if times have changed? That doesn't stop them from still being on the air. Oh, and happy Pie Day! March 14, 2016, 7:53am
I really love "Bart Gets An F" because Bart's character development. It makes me so sad watching his breakdown every single time I watch it.
separate vocations is a fantastic bart lisa development episode...
My favorite episode is 'and Maggie Makes Three'
The last few moments of the episode is heartbreaking, seeing the acid rain eat away his bowling jacket like even mother nature can't stand to see him have happiness.
I'm a simple man, I don't see Hank Scorpio's episode on the list, I don't give thumbs up to the video.
Ever see a guy say goodbye to a shoe?
Yes, once! *chuckles*
radamanthium you want some cream with that? Homer: ummm... No
Or no Michael Jackson episode
or no Marge V Monorail, no Mr. Plow, but episodes from SEASON 20?!?!?!? WORST. OPINION. EVER.
+kensredemption That is my favorite episode. By the way, it is simply called Bart Sells His Soul. :)
That's why Lisa goes Gaga is absolute shit.
kensredemption love that episode
“Kill his acorns and make him watch!”
Omg 😂 I should not laugh at that
yes you should...yes you should
Homers enemy anyone?
Clorox Bleach I love that one
Yes

That's my all time favorite episode. Who can forget Frank "Grimy" Grimes?

The Frying Game was awful
Yeah, just watched the frying game....
Dude same i was looking at the Top 10 Darkest Modern Simpsons Episodes and Frying Game was on that list honorable mentions
So i believe he mixed it up
Surprised no one mentioned it: Bart Sells His Soul! Both hilarious and dark, and most notably the episode with "In the Garden of Eden" and "Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag". Hardly any episode hits that many fronts in one.
+ecoRfan The Garden of Eden is an absolute classic
ecoRfan love that episode so much

@Kenny McCormick that was always one of my favorites, and i’m not exactly sure why. I think it’s something with the concept of elementary school kids driving across the country. The side story of Homer and Lisa was also nice and unexpected.

Or the episode where Moe steals Homer's recipe for a cocktail and takes all the credit
Also who shot Mr.Burns,Homers Enemy
MLBHighlights2012 maggie makes three overrated
When Flanders failed
One of the best episodes of all time has to be "Bart Gets an F." It had heart, because it showed that Bart really tried to study for his test, even studying through a snow day. That moment when he got another failing grade and broke down crying because he realized that he was going to be held back... THAT is what is missing from the more modern Sinpson's episodes.
My favorite has to be the gun-violence/soccer episode, "I don't need to be careful, I've got a gun!"
+BirdsElopeWithTheSun The battle to determine the greatest country in the world: Mexico, or Portugal!
The cartridge family it’s a good one
"Lisa needs braces"
"Dental Plan!"
"Lisa needs braces"
"Dental Plan!"
'Lisa needs braces!'
My favourite had to be And Maggie Makes Three. That end scene "Do it for her" is so heart warming
That's my favorite episode of all! I tear up every time I see it.
I know right! I can't believe people even compare The Simpsons to Family Guy.
Well I've never seen Family Guy so I can't judge :-)

I never see And Maggie Makes Three on any best of list! WTF?!
It's such a heart breaker.
Really good episode!
It shows Homer's true personality in the best way. I love this episode.
I saw that for the first time a few days ago on Channel 4 and it instantly became my favourite
homer bowls 300 is another classic episode from season 11 many people forget....

My top 5:
Bart on the road
The Italian Bob

Bart after Dark
Stark Raving Dad is one of my personal favourites. I mean c'mon, Michael Jackson is in it!

Chris Fish you're right
No Bart gets a F?
+UNDR I pretty much just love all episode old and new.
I'd say "Classic Simpsons" Coincidentally are the ones available on DvD, all the other ones are garbage.
Well, that doesn't mean they're too horrible to be on DVD. They already released Season 20 for the show's 20th anniversary when only seasons 1 through 12 were already out. April 21, 2016, 1:16pm
***** Should have been.
I like the futurama simpsons crossover its funny

10. Brother from another series
I know this is an old video, and there's probably no way in hell you'll see this comment Phantom, but i was wondering whether you considered putting these of my personal favourites when you made this list.
Stark Raving Dad - it has Michael Jackson in it and when him and Bart come together to sing the "Happy Birthday Lisa" song it's so heart-warming and wonderful
Behind the Laughter - just a in general funny fourth-wall breaking episode
Who Shot Mr Burns - Honestly *shocked* this wasn't on the list.

The one where Homer has a coworker hates him and ends up killing himself should win. Favorite episode by far.
F Zero homer's enemy a good choice love that episode
Bart gets an F is definitely my favorite episode
"the last best thing" is a very sad and dramatic episode that looks on mortality as homer is told he only has 24 hours to live. it's heart reaching despite how we know it's gonna end, it's the thoughts of if he had died which grabs my attention and tells me that the simpsons nor I will be around forever
Mr Plow would be in my top 10 but it would take me so long to decide a top 10, there's just so many classic episodes.
Then do top 25, problem solved.
I love that episode
Homer's Enemy will always be the best. It just exists to point out all the flaws in Homer's character but he somehow comes out more charming because of it. Brilliant writing.
He recently stated in Top 10 Darkest Adult Cartoon Episodes that, while it wasn't bad, the episode was too dark for him.
Just shit.
It’s not that bad. It’s just plain mediocre, with a REALLY crappy morale. I’d say the worst episode is ‘Boys of Bummer’.
@@lordroy88 Why?

nice job you must not have anything else to do but correct people on fucking episode titles I really does not matter
Bart gets an F, Homer's Enemy, Brother from another series, The Great Louse Detective, The Italian Bob (Sideshow Bob episodes are great)
James Woods guesting in that one episode of The Simpsons, clever and witty spoof of himself, naturing fitting in with the world around him whilst making us aware he is not a native springfieldianite.
James Woods guesting on Family Guy? a low-brow mockery of not just himself, but of celebrity and Hollywood as a whole. Shows how valuable good writing can be.
Jamie Wallace Also do top 10 worst american dad episode.

Homer at the bat is just amazing. Some of the best humor I've ever heard.
I can't remember the name of this one, but I really like the episode where Lisa starts doing crosswords. It's a really powerful episode towards Lisa's relationship with her dad.
Also the Lego episode had a great Lisa homer relationship
vanellope681 Me too. It's called "Homer and Lisa exchange crosswords" and is s20e06
+phantomstrider8 It's a great episode, even if Homer is somewhat unlikable throughout. But at least he redeems himself with a heartwarming ending.
It is very good!
Vanellope'sArchives good choice I like that one

Do top 10 Worst Simpsons Episodes

Sometimes I just think about Simpsons episodes and my head just kinda explodes. So many episodes, so many memories. Best show ever.
Two of my absolute favourites are Homers Enemy and The Last temptation of Homer. They talked about some really interesting issues, ones which don't get talked about that much compared to other messages, but they're also really funny and iconic from start to end

DrRestezi which is run Lisa run I forget
I liked the Stonecutters episode... and the one where Homer goes to college. Those are my favourite episodes
Am I the only one that thinks the few episodes where Homer and Ned get along are rather sweet? :)
What about "You only move twice" ?
+Flynn Hendry That's my favorite
+Flynn Hendry thats my favourite to. anyway if you dont mind im in the middle of a fun run!
TheBfutgreg lol
+TheBfutgreg I love the bit where he knocks Bunt to the ground by the vending machine. "Homer, when you go home tonight there's gonna be another storey on your house".
+Mike M That whole scene is gold, I figured I'd quote just a part of it to avoid too lengthy of a comment
My Top 10 ( In no specific Order)
- Cape Feare
- Lisa’s Substitute
- Homer at the Bat
- Last Exit To Springfield
- Who Shot Mr. Burns Parts 1 and 2
- You Only Move Twice
- Homers Enemy
- Homer The Great
- And Maggie Makes Three
- 22 Short Films About Springfield
all the seasons before the seasons hit the double digits
Mikoyo15 i separate the good from bad by the animation. therefore, anything before season 21. but your argument is definitely (in my opinion) where the show started to fall apart
I don’t mean to entirely disregard it, that’s just how my mind works for some reason, I see the new animation and think it’s dogshit
I love the simpsons they are the best !!!!!!
The episode's name is "Brother from another series" I like that one to!
Scarlet Shadow Thanks!
i think the episode is called 'brother from another series' bc sideshow bob is voiced by kelsey grammar who plays fraiser in fraiser, and the guy who voices sideshow bobs brother is voiced by the guy who plays niles in fraiser who is fraisers brother #funfact
Also Sideshow bob's dad is voiced by Niles and Fraiser's dad
dl01619 Well that's just MEGA COOL!
i totally share your opinion on modern simpsons!
i think my favorites are homer the smithers, 22 short films, and i really liked halloween of horror from last season? there are a ton more i like i will not list them all here lmao
my favorite and most watched would always be homer's enemy. but this is a solid list. its just so hard to choose over more than 2 decades worth of episodes. truly an iconic series, and certainly something that has gotten me through tough times.
What, no "Behind The Laughter"?
+Rachel Shaskin that one was pretty insightful and fun. Probably deserved an honorable mention
Its supposed to be Poppa's got a brand new badge
No! That one sucked!
Graham D agreed
yeah, that one was great
When child services takes the Simpson kids and fosters them with the Flanders family. Gold.
Where's "Homers enemy", "Homer the Heretic", or "Homer at the Bat"?
My favorite episode is Homer the Heretic by far.
I like the one with the box fort.
I don't remember anything else about it, but that scene was amazing.
Now be gone!
It's not a good plot(Grandpa and Selma become a couple. T_T)
Points that nearly killed me with laughter:"It Begins""HA HA"A.S.S (not related to the human ass)
Azure 9861 food choices
Good not food
Marge vs. the Monorail and Mayored to the Mob (Mark Hamill in "Guys and Dolls", dressed in his Star Wars duds, as Nathan Detroit singing and dancing. And Homer as Mayor Quimby's bodyguard.), some of my absolute favorite episodes.
