I had some low expectations for this because of initial pictures. But having him in hand, he's actually pretty good. I wish the feet articulation was a bit better, and he had more paint applied. I can say it's better for me than the original even if the old one had better engineering. And the accessories are good.

Message to Hasbro: You'll find incredible success in bringing High Moon back to make more of their Cybertron games. The developers had true passion for the characters and universe which is apparent in the writing, art style, and characterisation - and there's so much unused content that another 2 games could be made using it. There's concept art for a prequel game and hints toward a game based on the journey from Cybertron to Earth. Even cut mechanics like triple changers. These games were truly peak content and I've seen so much love from the community for them. It's a big gap in the market just waiting for something to be made. Hopefully these figures are only the beginning and you realise the potential they had, and continue to have a decade later. Bring back the High Moon Cybertron games ❤💜
This. I haven’t bought a Hasbro Transformers figure since the Age of Extinction movie line. As soon as these War For Cybertron figures were revealed, I immediately preordered all 3. It’d be wise to keep doing these designs.
Unfortunately High Moon was brought up by Activision Blizzard and was dissolved. That is why the poorly made third game where they tied it into the dark side of the moon movie, and had another company that has no idea and reused High Moon stuff to make a poorly designed filler game. I got it on the PS3 it is painful to play through and see how it kills the series. Should have been left alone after the second FOC, once High Moon was gone.
Hasbro can’t do anything with highmoon. High moon is owned by Activision, who dissolved the studio. People need to realize the games have nothing to do with Hasbro beyond the name.
The old deluxe figures shouldn't like Bee and Cliffjumper come up to Prime shoulders, more to his waste instead. The scale is off. With Planet X, those two scales are fine with that Prime.
I got this guy a couple days ago and I literally can’t stop playing with him. I’m still hoping they make some of the characters that were in the multiplayer. (scattershot, Demolishor, slipstream etc)
I think it's rarer to say that Fall Design > War design. At least, that's what I've seen online. I personally prefer the Fall design though. Something about it catches the eye more to me. Plus, it fits incredibly well with Prime in some of the best moments in the game (Metroplex killing Megatron and the duel on the Ark).

Got him yesterday since Hasbro decided to reissue the figure. Thankfully, the right hand on my unit isn’t loose so it’s not an issue for now. It’s my first ever Optimus and I was initially interested in the Deluxe TFOne but I felt like a weapon was missing. I would rather have a complete Optimus, both the Ion Blaster and Energon Axe. I’m glad I got it since I love the WfC/FoC designs. I look forward in getting the Legacy G1.
we really are spoiled when it comes to these voyagers. Inferno, Tarn, Cyclonus and Prime have been arguably some of the best voyagers we've ever gotten. they're just so good

It's been so long since I last played with a Transformer, but this figure right here rekindled my love for the toys. Such a banger figure, and I really like the posability, which you showcased here really well!
Got this figure recently alongside Barricade, I just started collecting this new line after realizing that they were producing them, starting with the Decepticon soldier. I haven't gotten figures since the Cybertron/Galaxy Force era, back when I was a kid. I absolutely loved the High Moon duology, and I can't wait to see how they improve upon the FOC Optimus design since this figure is just so neat.

I actually found one of these guys on my local Walmart for its original price!!! All the other stores that have it either sell it for higher or well (shipping 😅) Couldn't be happier
I'm honestly in love with this design. Haven't picked it up yet, but the High Moon games were like my first big Geewun media outside of the IDW comics, so I'm super super excited to have them back. I'm hoping sometime down the line they release some headswaps in different colour schemes, so we can recreate our multiplayer OCs. That'd be amazing.
Inb4 Hasbro uses Gamer Edition as an excuse to reissue older figures that were hard to get the first go around but with that crappy “toon shading” in order to create Devastation figures Not saying they’d be bad, just that the cel-shading would look weird
This figure is amazing! i only have 2 issues with it. the arm is a little too skinny with the gun and it doesn't look like it transforms out of the arm maybe if there was red on the gun. also the battle axe is hideous but it is epic
Great figure. If you twist my arm, i'd say the designers could have made the energron axe fold into a rectagle to cover the fists in the rear panel. Weapon storage and coverup.
i think the only two big pain points is the 1) hand storage at the butt 2) the vehicle mode with fists sticking out. I feel it's not impossible to have a flip mechanism to idk change from fist to like exhaust holes or something cuz the deluxe version of it (that i sadly don't own) didn't have such issue w the fists in its vehicle mode. so i don't see how or why the engineering for the vehicle mode is disappointing especially since it's a voyager - it's not like it's a deluxe that have size restraint for better engineering
Using the slider as a joint is a great idea if you want some dual handed axe poses. He can even do an overhead swin if you position it right. P.S. I purposely put off this video to avoid spoilers, still struggling with his transformation thought.
I had this Optimus Prime way back and then I also had the Megatron version of the video game as well and I also had Cliffjumper as well but the sad part is I gave all my Transformers to a little kid cuz I thought they were not going to make no more movies but I have a lot but I'm going to get them all back and I have to buy them again and then when I get older I'm going to give them to my kids so yeah

This is the Optimus Hulk to the two-pack with Alphs Trion's Orion Banner. I loathe the gun arms but it means he can use the ultimate weapon - OPTIMUS ROCKET PUNCH! - so even that is forgiven. I just need to get a 3p or 3d printed ion blaster somewhere I guess.
I love this figure, but I got a slight problem on mine, the removable arm part is just extremely loose and falls off a bunch. Besides that, it's an amazing figure
It's a bit weird that they bother giving him a matrix but no articulated fingers to hold it so its only function is to stay in his chest and just "be there". This kinda explain why they decided to make the matrix a 2D object with a good front but literally nothing in the back.
