This is Lesson 2 of my new "YODEL-VOCAL WARM UP" SERIES, a little diff erent twist on the standard "vocaL" warm ups". Just as a runner warms up before running, so singers and yodelers need to warm up and stretch their voices before singing. I'm doing a simple 6 note yodel vocal warm up using 'ho lololo ou dee" ( 1 111 55). Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment letting me know how you did! You are such an inspiration. My mother, rest her soul could yodel...she taught me some but you have been so much help and given me the confidence and hope to learn to yodel. You are an angel, you have a gift of teaching without being condesending, you are so king! Loved this warm up lesson Beth. I’ve never taken any lessons. Just yodel all I can in my alone time. I can remember my grandfather listening to Hank Williams and my grandfather sure could yodel. This is my favorite talent I have. Ha ha just today alone, I decided to start lessons with you. So far I can keep up pretty well.
I love how my children think I’m crazy. But little do they, yodeling is still cool!!

Wonderful! Hope your yodeling is coming along good and thanks for sharing about your grandfather. My granddaughter teases me about yodeling but every once in a while I hear her yodeling in her room!!
