"But guess what? I don't give a shit!" "I have no idea if that's good or not and I also don't care." "But I noticed this way too late, so who cares." Benni is my spirit animal.
Some people just barrel through games to get to the end. However, Fallout 4 has a lot of interesting stuff in it. Reason channels like Oxhorn's do well with his Fallout 4 lore videos.
I always hated that. People become so excited about a game coming out, but then they just forget about it after a few years and the process repeats when the next big game happens. I remember when DBH was popular.
I don't think using 3D printers for cosplay is cheating I think it's like advanced level cosplay. You start off with the basic stuff and as you get more skills, time and money you move up in your materials. I especially think this for Benny because he makes all his own patterns most( if not all ) of the time.
Benny, you sir, you are my painting god inspiration. And also my motivation to start learning 3D modelling even though I always hated it. You make it look so easy and useful!
I love everything you guys do! My boyfriend does a fair bit of 3D printing. Anyone who's been close to it or has seen anyone do the 3D modelling should understand it's definitely not lazy or cheating. Especially when it comes to the sanding! Oh god... The sanding! Many thanks to you guys for sharing so much of what you know with us! And the video of corgis. CORGIS.
I dont know if you're reading this, but I'll write anyway, im a beginner cosplayer, and you two are really inspirational!!! you make it look like the coolest thing ever and I hope to find someone like you two did to have creative fun together!! thank you for the content you're putting out! really you are my favorite both!! and the dog is adorable ❤❤❤
Thanks so much! Just continue crafting and you'll eventually find people who like the same things. The cosplay community is really a great place to find good friends! :)
I was only going to "like" the video until I saw the corgi. When I saw the corgi I decided to subscribe to this channel. Now I am watching these videos until I see either the corgi again or a laser rifle from Fallout.
These videos are always such a joy and I always watch them even when they have nothing to do with any of my projects. Which is pretty often. I just treasure them.
It’s pretty cool seeing your steps as I see some steps done in the warehouse shop where I work at. The only difference is that we make molds of the pieces to make some multiples. Cool stuff.
Dude, this may not be my first time seeing a 3d printed object, but this is my first time seeing it function. You make some good props and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I am definitely of the opinion that 3d printing is NOT cheating. If you have the resources (weather it be by school, or a friend who has one) you should use it! It helps you learn a new skill at the end of the day and cosplay is about fun! I myself don't have the means to use a 3d printer to do this stuff but if I did i would definitely use it.
I agree! As long as you have fun you can use ANYTHING you want. Also there are even services like shapeways.com where you can order files printed if you don't have a printer available yourself.
This was another fantastic video. I love Benny's attitude. It made my so far crappy day better. I would love to see the full video on the whole fusion 360 process. I've been wanting to get into 3D printing, and seeing all of it happening would be great.
Some things are easier to make by more "Traditional" means and others are easier to use a 3D printer/laser cutter for. Knowing what equipment to use and HOW to use it is what separates a great prop builder/cosplayer from a good one. As far as I'm concerned, if your end result leaves you feeling satisfied and excited to show off both your method and your finished product, you haven't cheated at all! ...and I love seeing how you guys use Lasercutters and 3D Printers, as well as every other tool I see used. It's truly inspiring. Keep it up!
Fallout 4 is barely considered an RPG, it is a good game but not a good fallout game, play Fallout New Vegas and you'll see what's the best RPG Fallout game.

Yes, I think Svetlana could have made this gun out of foam in an afternoon. I took a lot longer. Still it was my first try so I guess it will be quicker the more I do it.
Love the videos. Longer videos are better too! Would totally be down with extended versions of your tutorials. Especially if you put out two versions. One shorter video for those who just want a quick overview. And then a sweet extended versions for those of us who really love watching and learning all the ins and outs of what you guys do.
That 'Rustification' thing you did is pretty awesome and looks realistic and cool in the same way.Its so sad its just talent and skill,no matter how hard i work. You got a sub btw.
Another amazing paint job Benny, but this time with added modeling! Amazing! Really inspiring to see your work and i cant wait to put these techniques to the test on my next props.
3D modeling isn't cheating. It's a really cool alternative that has a lot of potential. During the steam summer sale, I finally got a copy of fallout and have played it multiple times. I love everything that is fallout now, and I'm grateful that this was recommended.
I will always be 100% on board for more Fallout 4 builds! I'd kill to see your take on any of the melee weapons. Loved this video! It turned out incredible! I'll definitely use the hairspray hack in future. So clever! and yes please do continue to sand after using primer! It prevents the orange peel effect, helps make metallics look shinier, and adds ten years to my life.
+DollfacedDreadnaught If I need anything really smooth of course! Just since this one was going to be nasty and rusty anyway I could have skipped it :)
You guys are so amazing! Thank you so much for these awesome tutorials in literally every aspect of cosplay. It's also incredible that you share patterns for free! Keep being awesome ♥
You should make a pipe revolver rife and use pen springs to make a working trigger and for a switch so you can pop the cylinder in and out like you're reloading
Think exporting the actual game model would've saved a bit of time. Unless there just isn't a way to convert a nif file into something a 3D printer can use.
I would use pvc-Pipe, and some other stuff. But yours turned out great too! I've been wanting to get in to Cosplaying, and I wanna start with Fallout >:D This helped though :P
Go Benny!!! I'm glad you don't think 3d printing is cheating. ;) The model and the gun look great! Your modeling will for sure get faster as you keep making things.
this is really cool! Although if it was me making the weapon I would have painted it bronze like you did and use rub and buff to get that stressed metal look. But I still think it ended up really cool the way you did it, great job!
Modeling, sanding, primer and painting takes a lot of effort and time. So i think this is not cheating, this is a different way to get to a good result! :) By the way amazing job Benni! I wish i could have your painting skills :)
i'm working on a fallout cosplay myself, so these videos have been a huge help to me, thank you!! right now i'm still working with exclusively EVA foam and repainted nerf guns, but i'm crossing my fingers to get my hands on a 3D printer sometime soon!
C.A.K. Comedy Ikr! People say it sucks, but I think its good! I literally had a person argue that roblox is better than fallout 4, he said its "not as cool as roblox" I told him that you can fight 8 ft. tall irradiated lizards in a 2 tonne metal suit with a giant laser gattling gun. He replied with "none of that would happen in real life" ... k
I think something I'd try is turning the cylinder on a wood lathe, but that's simply down to me not having a 3D printer. However, this prop is absolutely stunning (:
"But guess what? I don't give a shit!"
"I have no idea if that's good or not and I also don't care."
"But I noticed this way too late, so who cares."
Benni is my spirit animal.
I like your attitude over how people ditch games once something else comes. " I don't give a shit" lol my thoughts exactly.
Haha, it is like it is. Horizon and Zelda will get their turn when the time is ripe.
knowing how many people have already played played BotW on the wii U, Zelda is going to have a really short life when a new game comes.
Gonna make a .gif with Benny saying "But guess what? I don't give a sh*t", I desperately need it in my life
I guess it can be useful for many different situations in life! ;)
I laughed so hard when he said that ahahaha
KamuiCosplay damn well good job on the pipe pistol
Jane L. use his face on 6:39
I literally spit out my coffee when Benny said that
We want more fallout weapons !!!
WyBe Prod We want more weapons from GOOD Fallout games.
I don't know about you but I kinda want to see a keyblade replica....
Julian Palmer the tri-beam from new Vegas was always a favorite of mine, it felt like a laser shotgun which was badass
Yes, more Fallout... though I'd simply love to see some original work, too! ...but I doubt that nets as many views... but who cares! I'll watch! XD
WyBe Prod ok because I have a 3d printer at 13.
jk I love these vids
Things I payed attention to:
20%: The gun
80%: His doge
The Goblin Barrel 100%: his doge
1% your sub
99% his channel
chear up mate
I'm your 99 like
Masterknight Gaming and More who cares!!
well still playing fallout4
I will
That's alright! I still play Fallout: New Vegas
i play Fo4 and NVMP too
Bro, I'm still playing Fallout: New Vegas
I know, just kinda trying to say that fallout 4 isn't that old
I don't think using 3D printers for cosplay is cheating I think it's like advanced level cosplay. You start off with the basic stuff and as you get more skills, time and money you move up in your materials. I especially think this for Benny because he makes all his own patterns most( if not all ) of the time.
Rachel Miler You literally copied some dudes comment :/
Nope. I gave my opinion and if it is similar to someone else's apologies I didn't see it.
Benny, you sir, you are my painting god inspiration. And also my motivation to start learning 3D modelling even though I always hated it. You make it look so easy and useful!
This would be good for a Nick Valentine cosplay since that's his standard weapon.
+Nachover 9000 Indeed!
CORGIS.
3d printing cheating? its like saying digital or computer work is cheating, its just another tool at your disposal.
very good point
I have to admit, that’s pretty impressive. Combined with a Vault Dweller costume, and you have the perfect cosplay

As a cosplayer my self i dont think its cheating. Your just useing what you have. I just now using eva foam for my props.
I agree. All means to an end, right?
exactly
These videos are always such a joy and I always watch them even when they have nothing to do with any of my projects. Which is pretty often. I just treasure them.
I'd be interested in seeing the full video in how you modeled the gun! as always, you guys are great :)
+Emilie Gauvin Okay noted! :)
Same!
It’s pretty cool seeing your steps as I see some steps done in the warehouse shop where I work at. The only difference is that we make molds of the pieces to make some multiples. Cool stuff.
I don't care how old a game is, I only play with good games. 😃👍 And I like playing with *Fallout 4*. 😊👍
exactly
half of the non-energy weapons have no prayer in Hell of functioning. All of the bolt actions are left handed.
I was thinking "why doesn't he just make it out of metal or wood? the process would be faster." and then he mentioned it.
In 5:27 Benni said toothbrush, but it actually is a toothpick 😄 that was amusing
and good job btw it looks amazing as always
Maybe I MEANT TOOTHBRUSH! Ò_ó
KamuiCosplay of course you did :D
If I could I might make a working model that shoots bbs instead
Dude, this may not be my first time seeing a 3d printed object, but this is my first time seeing it function. You make some good props and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks!
Not a problem, pal. :D

KamuiCosplay I didn't even think to research if this was a service that existed! Thank you for the link!
Sure thing! :)
It isn't cheating, but 3D printed props should not compete in the same category as props made the usual way.
most competitions revolveR around the suit anyways
no pun intended
This was another fantastic video. I love Benny's attitude. It made my so far crappy day better. I would love to see the full video on the whole fusion 360 process. I've been wanting to get into 3D printing, and seeing all of it happening would be great.
Nice!
Thanks! :)
I Love Benni's sarcasm
William Jakespeare WILLIAM YOURE HERE TOO!?!? Boy do I love props! I never make any though...
Some things are easier to make by more "Traditional" means and others are easier to use a 3D printer/laser cutter for. Thanks! Yes we do try to use every tool available to us. :)
more fallout wepons pls?
like the fully modificated hunting rifle- to sniper rifle
Your airbrushing skills are amazing especially on the zinogre armor
Benni: Thanks man! :)
Is it possible to 3D print a Benny? :D but seriously though, if you were to make this out of foam, how would you support the thin handle?
Hehe, I guess the technology isn't quite there yet. Svetlana says she would have just put a aluminum wire into the foam for the handle.
I loved that intro and Fallout 4 will never be old
you've just got a new sub bro
Yay!
very well painted, i actually thought this was out of real metal.
i'm impressed
Thanks!
Fallout 4 is one of the best RPG I ever played. Love this game so much.
Fallout 4 is barely considered an RPG, it is a good game but not a good fallout game, play Fallout New Vegas and you'll see what's the best RPG Fallout game.
Notívago it's not an RPG
Your B A1ek so you dont role play ? So far i know you do role play a guy from vault 111 and so its RPG.
terran warbears the thing is that you cant go out of the beaten path , you are the sole survivor and his quest doesnt reflect what your motives in this universe are. so as a rpg it is shite
one of the best and one of the most bugged is more accurate
The thing with 3d printing is that when you're fast with modeling you can create figures and props prett fast. After you got them you can create molds and do as many things as you want.
"but guess what, i don't give a sh*t"
i'm going to use that
but wait theres even more beautiful lines like
"i have no idea if thats good or not, and i also don't care"
"luxuriously hand-crafted, designer tooth"
This really helped me learn a lot of stuff that makes making cosplays seem so much easier. Thanks!
Its looked soo cool!s
"Do you think 3d printing is still cheating in cosplay?" Dude... Have you ever met Adam Savage?
no it's not cheating is fuc*ing awesome!!!!!!
Honestly I aspire to have all the neat tools you guys have to work on your costumes and props. I'm jealous.
Don't worry! You'll get there! :)
in-game it looks like shit, but here its great
❤INCREDIBLE WORK!❤
I Love It ❤️
THe GAME IS OLD? COME ON¡¡¡ is better than the other boring games
This is so awesome I would love to see a nerf hammer shot made into one for those, you definitely have the skill!
The nice thing is that you can color it how you want,so you can do a stealthy Pipe Revolver.
God damn stealthy raiders.
Definitely not cheating, as far as I'm concerned that is one of its' decent uses, now and going into the future. Very great job here.
i like how you used Fallout 3 Enclave Radio music in the background
Holy crap. Superb modeling and paint job!! Really. And thank you for making it available!
Wow great work! I am blown away at how cool it is to see this virtual items come to life! Thats one for some lucky person's wall!
The paint job looks awesome. Sometimes it's probably harder to 3D print something than just to make it in foam and plastic piping.
Yes, I think Svetlana could have made this gun out of foam in an afternoon. I took a lot longer. Still it was my first try so I guess it will be quicker the more I do it.
I kind of liked the look of the plain white pistol
Love the videos. Longer videos are better too! Would totally be down with extended versions of your tutorials. Especially if you put out two versions. One shorter video for those who just want a quick overview. And then a sweet extended versions for those of us who really love watching and learning all the ins and outs of what you guys do.
3D modeling and 3D printing is fine in cosplay - no less of a skill than woodworking to make a prop. Really nice work on the pipe pistol.
Thanks and I agree!
Great job! Do more. It's not about the tools or materials, it's ya skillz, brother. Explore and y'all keep up the good work!
Your so smart and your pit boy looked super cool
That 'Rustification' thing you did is pretty awesome and looks realistic and cool in the same way.Its so sad its just talent and skill,no matter how hard i work. You got a sub btw.
Another amazing paint job Benny, but this time with added modeling! Amazing! Really inspiring to see your work and i cant wait to put these techniques to the test on my next props.
Glad to help! Make sure to send us pictures!
Aww will do!
Benni ebook time. Fusion 360 props from start to finish. I would die if you make one. Already have all her prop books need a benni one!
Planned for next year :)
Need more examples first
I need more Fallout props, you guys are very entertaining to watch.
3D modeling isn't cheating. It's a really cool alternative that has a lot of potential. During the steam summer sale, I finally got a copy of fallout and have played it multiple times. I love everything that is fallout now, and I'm grateful that this was recommended.

+DollfacedDreadnaught If I need anything really smooth of course! Just since this one was going to be nasty and rusty anyway I could have skipped it :)
I loved the tip about the hairspray :D I'd never thought of that before when painting props :D
Well it's not really the first thing that comes to mind ;)
Maybe not but it's such a great idea :D Thank you for the tip :)
GG on the craftsmanship
It's funny how something that was supposed to be cobbled together out of random scrap in a pinch actually takes 3D printing and super glue to make.
You're not the hero Bethesda fans deserve, you're the one we need.
I’m only vaguely familiar with this game series, and I don’t have a 3D printer. But I really want to make this prop
You guys are so amazing! Thank you so much for these awesome tutorials in literally every aspect of cosplay. It's also incredible that you share patterns for free! Keep being awesome ♥
Thanks! Glad you like the stuff we put out! :)
I do really like your videos, too. You make the perfect pair! Thank you!
The song in the backround sounds like the one from India Jones with the people throwing the books in the fire.
You should make a pipe revolver rife and use pen springs to make a working trigger and for a switch so you can pop the cylinder in and out like you're reloading
I'm on the fence with 3D printing, but that was a great paint job, sir!
Think exporting the actual game model would've saved a bit of time.
Unless there just isn't a way to convert a nif file into something a 3D printer can use.
Amazing work! it looks better than the one in-game :D
Thanks, even if I wouldn't go that far! ;D
I would use pvc-Pipe, and some other stuff. But yours turned out great too! I've been wanting to get in to Cosplaying, and I wanna start with Fallout >:D This helped though :P
Go Benny!!! I'm glad you don't think 3d printing is cheating. ;)
The model and the gun look great! Your modeling will for sure get faster as you keep making things.
You did a great job! Hope to see more of your 3d modelling in the future :D
bro it's freaking cool although 3d printing is not the way to the future unless we started making one that had more options than just plastic or glue.
You realize there are already printers for wood, metal, chocolate, noodles, human skin, concrete and more?
Even your dog wants to die at the end lmao
I have to admit, that looks very real, well done
Thank you! :)
this is really cool! Although if it was me making the weapon I would have painted it bronze like you did and use rub and buff to get that stressed metal look. But I still think it ended up really cool the way you did it, great job!
Good idea yes! This would have worked too!
Modeling, sanding, primer and painting takes a lot of effort and time. So i think this is not cheating, this is a different way to get to a good result! :)
By the way amazing job Benni! I wish i could have your painting skills :)
Thank you! ;) I agree.
That is awesome! Would love to see a full video of the 3d modeling process!
+Marc Weerts Noted! :)
As an engineering student I can attest to the difficulty of 3D modeling. This turned out amazing!
+Diego Amador Thanks!
Now that you have a weapon Preston needs you to help out a stelment
I still after years I like fallout 4 and still play it
Same
i'm working on a fallout cosplay myself, so these videos have been a huge help to me, thank you!!
right now i'm still working with exclusively EVA foam and repainted nerf guns, but i'm crossing my fingers to get my hands on a 3D printer sometime soon!
+Domino Douglas Good luck! Keep your eyes open, there are a lot of really cheap 3D printers on the way actually
I like these videos, the fallout guns are so unique
Holy crap man, thats freakin' amazing for a simple 3d printed prop :) Subbed!
If anyone is wondering the first song is Washington post march by john Phillip Sousa
You guys are my go to for prop tutorials! Love you so much
+demongirl228 Thank you! :)
Dude... Fallout 4 may be old but it's still super fun.
Yes!
Your coloring gave me an idea for
My air soft guns and dog is so cute 😆
4:24 I REALLY want a functional pipboy like that, that, and i'd like to actually get this gun as well
That painting technique is genius...
It's pretty easy actually!
I don't care how old it is, Fallout 4 is my all-time favorite game
Thank you! There are many different ways to make cool props! Wood is definitely an excellent choice too!
+KamuiCosplay I tried making a revolver cylinder earlier today with the lathe. suffice to say, didn't work out well :/
"plop plop" quality assurance! I love it!
+Garrett VanNorden Need to make sure right? ;)
the music really reminds me of fallout 3... the nostalgia
The sass is so strong... :') I can't wait for more videos from Benni, and of course Sventlana
that was amazing would love to see more gun designs and customization
