Anamorphic photography is something I have wanted to try for a good while now, growing up watching so many movies shot using anamorphic lenses I think, has had an impact on how I see things in my photography. I have struggled many times to replicate what I am seeing with my camera and lens so I am on a journey to test out shooting with anamorphic lenses in my stills photography to see if I can replicate what I see, this is my first outing using the suri 35mm 1.8 manual focus lens which has some very interesting characteristics. I thought it would be fun to bring you all along for the journey. apologies for some of the jerky GoPro footage not quite sure what happened to it.
