As a kid I never liked the Palace pets stuff because they weren't in the movies, I was so confused because I kept thinking about their animal sidekicks and wondering what happened to them 😂
Tbh Palace pets seems kinda not matching to Some princesses who have pets (example : Cinderella & Bruno, Ariel & Max, Pocahontas & Meeko, Mulan & Little Brother), so yeah it is so confusing XD
@@Mistress9Tomoe I wasn't a huge fan of them either, because I wondered, "Did they (the princesses) just get rid of their usual animal sidekicks (Bruno, Little Brother, Max for Ariel, Phillipe, etc) and get these new pets? What happened to the other animals that they normally have?"
I love that there are dolls from the Pixie Hollow books. Those books were my childhood, and now I want all the dolls. Just wondering why Rani has wings (that's the blue one who looks like the Blue Fairy). A big part of her story is that she had to cut off her wings to save Neverland and she's the only fairy who can swim because of it.
@@Jessica-ch1yi But the first book in that universe is Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg, which is when Rani looses her wings. There wasn't really much of a before.
They did come out with a collectors doll for the bride in the haunted mansion!!!! I absolutely love her! I never realized how big the collector dolls were I thought they were more like the size of monster high dolls or something but.
The Ariel and Her Sisters line not only had fashion dolls, but mini plush dolls, bathroom sets, and wearables. I've been trying to collect what I can from this line for a year now and it's so difficult to find anything (or anything at a decent price). So far, all I have from the line is the figure playset, the baseball cap, the mini plush of Ariel, and a set bathroom towel hooks. Everything else from this line I've found online is way overpriced for me. Disney needs to drop this line again even for a limited time because it is too cute and I want it all
I actually have two of the Disney Fairies Beck doll that I’ve loved to pieces since I was a baby; those were my favorite books and dolls and people should really look it up because everything was beautiful! I also had the Ariel rockers doll and the Ariel sisters. I was surprised the “My First Princess” line from Fisher price isn’t here. Those were my ultimate favorite and I had almost all of them. I remember my favorite being a castle with belle, Snow White and Cinderella as well as cinderellas dress shop.
One time I came across a Barbie and Ken in Disneyland or Disney World set, and they had Disney balloons and cute Disney fashion. They couldn’t have been more than $20 at this discount store, but at the time I was a very broke college student. Needless to say I am still kicking myself today that I didn’t get it when I had the chance!
(For not getting the dolls when you had the chance) Through the past few years, I have become a huge fan of Zendaya and I'm a big doll collector/doll lover. The Zendaya-Barbie Mattel released was a one-of-a-kind that was made just for Zendaya herself. I wished they released a "Greatest Showman" Anne Wheeler Barbie doll. But as Joey mentioned in the video, Disney had the Rocky Blue Zendaya doll that was released in my era, but I wasn't a huge fan of Zendaya then.
I loved the Palace Pets! I didn't have any of the ones that came with dolls but I had a lot of the pets and playsets. I didn't care about the Disney branding, just that they were adorable animals. I still have them somewhere, I'm sure.
I still own my W.I.T.C.H dolls (The 6 inch ones, didn't like the tall ones as I hated the glitter and they weren't accurate to the comics) and the heart of Kandrakar that came with one of the dolls and I'm so happy I never donated them since they're really rare to find now! I do want to try and make my own versions of their outfits as mine are really worn from play (Will's guardians top looks like Regina's boob shirt!) and have bits like their wings missing. I still want to find the locker dolls as they were so cute and the Halloween ones!
Mini princess Royal Nursery dolls are some weird ones I remember my sisters and I having when we were younger. They were basically mini baby dolls of the Disney princesses that you could hold in the palm of you hand. I remember they were in the checkout lines at a sears and that’s when we each got our first one.
I actually just got the Monsters University PNK dolls not too long ago, the whole set of 6! They're very weird but also adorable and I'm glad to have them in my collection. I'm also a huge Star Darlings stan, I have every doll and collecting all of them was my passion project for a while lol
disney zombies you missed that one and zapf creations in the 80s did a lot of toddler baby dolls featuring disney clothing i have a life sized baby doll and a walker talker and they are wonderful quality
Love seeing all the Disney collections you found. The ones that popped into my mind were the Disney Perfume princess dolls. They came with a case that housed that doll's perfume bottle and could also be used as a stand for the doll. I think these were introduced around 1996?
I have the Ariel from the Ariel sister stylized doll line. I think they were made in celebration of the “Ariel’s beginning” prequel movie! She’s a really fun doll. I’m happy to have her!
I had the Ariel Pop Dreamers doll and god I remember that seashell dress and the guitar so vividly. I also remember having a Will doll from the WITCH line and a Heart of Candor necklace too, that show was so top tier they need to add it on Disney Plus. Also had a Vidia doll and I loved how raggedy she looked, still hate how the movies de-butchified her.
You made me cry nostalgic tears the second you brought up the Radio Disney Pop Dreamers! I had all three dolls when I was nine and they were very well loved!
Quite a few I've never heard of. I have the Purple Disney Stars doll and she's gorge. Her hair is so soft and she's quite poseable. I'm just really gutted that by the time I saved up to get the blue 1, they had all gone from the shelves. Then woolies closed down :( Didn't have a Toys R Us anywhere near me growing up or when I married. Finally moved within an hours bus ride to 1 and 2 years later they closed. Doh! I really want those Micky fshions lol.
I had a Melody doll! I loved both Little Mermaid movies as a kid and adored that doll! I remember she had those snappy knee joints and I broke one of them and was so sad. My dad ended up doing doll surgery and fixed her knee! I wonder where she is now, I kinda regret not hanging on to her.
I was obsessed with Star darlings ❤ sadly the dolls weren’t available anymore tho when I discovered it it was like 2016-2017 when I discovered them And the palace pets omg was I obsessed (the app the show, yt videos just everything)
I remember a lot of these doll lines, about half of them. The other half, I had no clue they even existed. Never heard of the Atractionistas, the Disney Channel girls, Davy Crockett & Captain dolls, etc. I remember not liking the Ariel and her sisters dolls because they look weird to me. I wish they'd make a set of Ariel and her sisters as Classic Disney dolls. I also wanted the Princess Jasmine palace pets doll, but never got her.
I'm a redhead with two sisters: blonde and brunette. We each got a pop dreamer that matched us. They were really cool, because they had clip-on clothes with notches in them, so if Belle was wearing Ariel's outfit, for example, she would say so. They also had sensors in their feet, so they knew when the other dolls were nearby and they'd sing a song together! It was some of the most cohesive play times I had with my sisters.
Hi Joey I know it doesn't have anything to do with Disney I just found my Easter Style Barbie 1997 still in box I might have to take it out of the box to machine washer the outfit and wash the doll stored since 2002
The Jessie doll was a core memory for me. When I was a kid that was the only thing I wanted for Christmas. I didn’t know why but I think it was because I felt so sad for her in the movie when she was abandoned. She was a beautiful doll and I think my mom still has her. Also I totally forgot but I had the Boo doll! Love your channel.
Apparently, Disney did make a D23 Blue Fairy doll that was included with a small Pinocchio as part of the Fairytale Designer Collector's doll line. And Disney also made a Precious Moments Blue Fairy doll, but it has a little kid appearance. Lots of people have made their own OOAK Blue Fairy dolls. And there's the plush Blue Fairy dolls, but those aren't the fashion dolls that Joey specializes in. And you could say that Disney brought back the "Lilo and Stitch" doll line in terms of the fact that Lilo is one of the girls in the Animator's Collection doll line.
WITCH was part of my childhood, I had everything from them; Magazines, books, school material, special editions of the magazines. But the dolls I never had and still my dream to have a least one of them :(
I used to have the full set of Ariel and her Sisters I loved them so much and played with them so often that they naturally wore down Unfortunately now I only have a few left, due to several moves, but I still love them so much
There was a line in the 2000s that was just at the parks, and it was called My Disney Girl Dolls. They were 18inch dolls, basically the same size as American Girl dolls. I had just gotten a Maplelea doll (Canadian version of American Girl) before going to Disney, and when I saw they sold the My Disney Girl Doll outfits, my mom bought me a Minnie Mouse outfit for my doll. It’s so cute and I still have it today
I had all the pop dreamers, most of the witch dolls, and the demonic lilo, and the boo doll without the apron. I remember getting my witch dolls at disney store (they were all on clearance so yeah)
I used to have the Melody doll from little mermaid 2 and I remember I accidentally broke the head off of it when I was little, she was one of my favorite dolls too, I miss her
I really wanted the Melody doll when I was little. I still want her. My cousin owned the W.I.T.C.H Will doll. I've owned Disney Princess dolls made by Simba.
I loved palace pets! I always thought of them as pets they got after their movies took place. I have a few memories of what I think was a show about them.
Omg!! The only ones I've ever seen were the princess Disney pets and the villain line. The rest were surprises. Thank you for this video, great collection
I remembered owning a zapf creation Cinderella doll as a kid. Since the day my parents bought it for me for Xmas, they were never seen on stock again 💀
i think there was a doll line that was modern girls disneybounding (very similar to the ily disney dolls we currently have) that was made in the early 2000s, kind of as a bratz spinoff. Those 80s dolls were parks exclusive, IIRC. We had Disneyland passes at the time and I’m almost positive that’s where I got them. We rarely went to the Disney Store since we were always at the park. I think the doll was pretty cheap, it was way more about the clothes. I remember it having hollow legs.
I had a couple of the fairy dolls as a kid! I had the blue one you mentioned (Rani) and Lily, the garden fairy! I’m pretty sure they’re in storage at my parents’ house. They’re super cute!
I had the palace pets but not the dolls that came with them, I remember being OBSESSED with Pumpkin (the white dog that belongs to Cinderella) then I lost her and kinda forgot about palace pets, but I still love them, I also had the Tinkerbell doll but her wings broke, my mom took her back to the store and got a new one, but the wings on that one broke too, so I just had a Tinkerbell with broken wings that kept having to be glued so they wouldn't fall apart
The Attractionistas is an intriguing concept, love them. Please do a video looking at the Disney villain dolls (unless you already have) I'd love to see how the look and quality has changed. Did they ever make a doll for the villain in The Rescuers?
The Disney Fairies!!!!!! I had the Rani doll! She was my favorite from the books cause I related to her. Water talent, extremely emotional, and wants to swim the mermaids. Same, girl, same. I also had the Kim Possible in her cheerleader outfit!
Hello…it’s also noteworthy to mention Horsman’s The Mickey Mouse Club official Mouseketeers dolls from 1971…they’re approximately 8” doll and they’re so adorable!😍☺️😁
LOVE THIS!! Thank you :) Although I'm surprised that you didn't mention the Brass Key Collectors Princess dolls there were more than a few I've never heard of! Do you have a Pinterest or can link your research site? I had some dolls I didn't know were from these doll lines and would love to get the pics close up :) Thanks so much! Keep posting amazing doll crap I adore
I surprising knew all these doll lines and I absolutely love the Melody doll and the Star Darlings line and the really pretty Sharpay doll they were so cute.
omg the pop dreamer dolls, my cousin gave me all 3 and actually still have them stored away in my grandma’s attic. unfortunately they dont sing but seeing this video reminded me I still have them 😅
I think the mini baby dolls are the only ones I haven't heard of. Anyone remember the Read Along Friends doll line? From like 2000s. I got the Alice one but i know there was a Tinkerbelle, Jasmine, snow white and others. I wanted them all lol.
I remember the Radio Pop Dreamers dolls I had Ella and Ari,I still have my childhood Ella,I found months ago and I put new batteries in her and she still works but not my childhood Ari (Didn't know what happened to her),But at least I found Ari and Gabriella at a flea market months ago for a dollar each and I fixed them up and put new batteries in them and they still work,I also still have the album. I also had some of those Jessie dolls as a kid and I still have them somewhere I'm still looking for the Country Blossom Jessie. I still have my childhood Babblin Boo doll I was 7 years old when Monsters inc came out and I love that movie.
To be accurate: W.I.T.C.H. was not about girls who were witches. It was a comic book from Disney Italia about interdimensional guardians, Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin. The name of the group comes from combining their initials. The comic book specifically states that they aren't witches, although the creators did have Irma turn a pushy boy into a toad. They've been reprinting the entire comic series, four issues per volume, but they recently stopped part way through a story arc.
Wow! I thought I was done learning of new doll lines, but ofc they pop out of the woodworks! Amazing how fast the toy industry cycles through these, with some hits and misses. Thanks for always bringing to screen the most interesting doll content! Love your channel.
As a kid I never liked the Palace pets stuff because they weren't in the movies, I was so confused because I kept thinking about their animal sidekicks and wondering what happened to them 😂
They had there own animated series!
Personal I loved them and never questioned them at all

Yes! Definitely dolls I've never heard of before!
i've been on and off obsessed with w.i.t.c.h. since 2005, i have the mini irma doll and she's my prized possession
I had no idea they made pixie hollow dolls!!! They’re so gorgeous, I was a big fan of the books and characters … I wish I had those dolls 😢😢
My friend had the dancing Lilo. I remember she was also scented like flowers

Omg!! The only ones I've ever seen were the princess Disney pets and the villain line. The rest were surprises. Thank you for this video, great collection
I had that hula dancing Lilo! 😭 My family also thought she looked possessed but I loved her and took her everywhere. 🥲
I made a comment on the ariel video, and just saw the palace pets line and realized that was the only ariel doll we owned, very pretty tbh
I remembered owning a zapf creation Cinderella doll as a kid. Since the day my parents bought it for me for Xmas, they were never seen on stock again 💀
I remember the man dolls
i think there was a doll line that was modern girls disneybounding (very similar to the ily disney dolls we currently have) that was made in the early 2000s, kind of as a bratz spinoff. They are called Pixie Stars. They were only really sold at disneyland paris i think
xcandensis has a video on them: ruclips.net/video/LUsSqS_1H0w/видео.html
the never land jane has an adorable face up!!! great sculpt!

Omg I remember those Disney barbie dolls and clothes being sold at the dollarstore and bargain bin in the early 90s. I had them all 😅
All cute
Wow all of these dolls are so cool! Most of them I haven’t seen or heard of before.
Thank you for sharing, fun looking at different Disney dolls.
Disney fan dolls cute
I agree Disney should make a doll of the Ghost Bride.

I remember some of them quite vividly, like the witch dolls. Sadly was never able to afford them and now they are so hard to find
I remember owning the belle pop dreamers and Lizzie McGuire doll. Lol I still have my Rani doll and she’s my favorite from the line.
Hii, I love your videos ❤️. I remember the star darlings dolls, I had the pink one

6:00 I didn't grow up on these Disney Shows, but I watched them faithfully with my son. ♥ I'd get them.
The Disney Fairies!!!!!! I had the Rani doll! She was my favorite from the books cause I related to her. Water talent, extremely emotional, and wants to swim the mermaids. Same, girl, same.

Anyone remember the Read Along Friends doll line? From like 2000s. I got the Alice one but i know there was a Tinkerbelle, Jasmine, snow white and others. I wanted them all lol.
I think Disney should re-release the Disney pop dreamer dolls, but with more posable bodies.
Starting to watch this vid: I'll recognize most of them, how many there can be?
Ending to watch: phew, at least I knew few of those!
Never saw those
Haven't heard of any of these. But I would like the little Donald Duck doll from Simba.
