Okay, now this is cool! I freaking LOVE the miniatures! So beautiful, and I love how they're not some random stock photos. They're movable recreations of places important to the case. The sound effects really bring them to life. There's a lady who created a bunch of miniatures to help solve crimes, and now her works are in a museum -- this reminds me of that! You could vamp this up and do a whole series with a name like, "Scenes of the Crime" or "Closer Cases." I'd love to watch her make them as she tells the story!
The bachelorette deserve alot of praise and respect for her women intuition that got her out of possibly the worst day of her life. Who knows what Alcala got in store for her but its good to knows that she instantly said "Screw this, I am outa here." Still, I am glad that Alcala finally got what's coming to him.
Out of curiosity, the Officer Hodel who put Alcala on the Most Wanted list wouldn’t happen to be the same Officer Hodel who theorized that his own father was the Black Dahlia murderer, would he?
As someone with aphantasia, these miniatures really help put the stories in perspective, so thank you for that. I'd love to see the Ed Gein house in this series (unless you've already covered it?), but I highly doubt that's RUclips appropriate, so maybe not...
You did an amazing job, and your miniatures are phenomenal. The Golden State Killer is a case that thankfully was solved recently. It would take several episodes to do it justice, but it’s one that’s worth telling.
I love these. I really like the addition of these amazing miniatures to your very well spoken story telling. Also, thank you for having good grammar and not using modern slang that detracts from the story. You're very talented. 🙂
These kind of killers are one of the worst kind. Not only have they taken so many lives, they will do anything they can to deny what they've done. Everything must be proven, and they'll not give any confession of the other potential victims not found. Denying closure to all the families who may be relatives to people missing, who they have killed. I have no doubt he had more victims than the ones that could be proven, but because his refusal to confess, we will probably never know for sure... For the ones left behind, closure and knowing what happened and who was involved is an important step to heal. But men like these will deny even that.

I like your idea of making miniatures of historical crime incidents. In 1978 I was in high school and we were over at my girlfriends (future wife) house with her family and several friends of her group of girls. The girls all wanted to watch The Dating Game so my girlfriends brother and I were going outside to do some batting practice. As I was leaving I was kinda watching over my shoulder and thought this show probably puts women in some dangerous situations. They don’t have a clue who these guys are and what they’re capable of. When I said that, one of the girls said “oh no they check everyone’s record and only guys with good credit ratings and zero criminal history get to be on this show”. Now my father and his father were at the time both Philly cops. I knew they weren’t fingerprinting these fellas because it’s some silly television show that just wants good ratings. It wasn’t the episode where Rodney was on but there was one guy who I looked at and felt like there was something wrong with him by how he talked to the girl. Similar kind of slick talking scumbag who just wanted to be in control of her and the other guys. I could tell the host was getting a little annoyed by him in the few minutes that I watched the show. There were a couple show’s that were similar to The Dating Game but nothing as successful and popular. When the news coverage came out after his arrest the press barely covered this story on at least a national level , maybe locally they did more but it wasn’t as well known as you’d think. That young lady was smart enough to see there was something off about him and she was strong enough to say “nope” and I admire her for that.
