Dude is such a gem, ALWAYS smiling, always has something positive to say ...even when he gets shut down on a goal and the disappointment is written on his face. Good example.
These “pandemic” episodes, besides being so interesting in terms of pure climbing, actually show how amazing and beautiful is the Czech Republic. One of my favourite countries to go.
Great climbing Adam ! Thank you for keeping all of us entertained and inspired even now in this quarantine period! Take care and much love from all of us watching 😊
Adam sticks strictly to the generally accepted rules of flash, getting verbal information and from video, touching only what he can reach from the floor, he touches equally with his shoes in his hands, no climbing at all in his rehearsal of moves, he covers with tarp just time enough so other people (climbers or non climbers) are not annoyed, his videos are always kept short, all of us wanting more when they finnish and looking forward to next week. And he still gets some criticism! We humans are truly the worst pandemic. Keep going Adam, you are the best inspiration, and not only for your climbing.
dude you really inspire me! i struggle with depession but your videos kill my pain and make me smile and feel free in that moment see you conqor the mountain i feel like im flying with you
Both the content and quality of production keeps getting better for every single video you upload. This channel is easily one of the top, top climbing channels on youtube. Keep up the great work Adam, and also creds to the production team!
Thanks for putting the Czech subtitles up; I started studying Czech once the quarantine happened and although I've never seen most of the words before, I pick up one or two new ones each video.
Zidarana is so underrated! Best spot for winter bouldering in whole south Bohemia. Unfortunately, once it gets warm, the conditions deteriorate pretty quickly.
I’m thinking about uploading my first outdoor bouldering video on YT, thanks for the inspiration Adam. As a matter of fact I’m gonna go go outdoor right now lol.
My local climbing gym finally opened back up at 1/4 capacity and I was able to climb indoors for the first time in a couple of months. Feels great; can't wait for my next session.
What I love about pro rock climbers is that even though they're "famous" they'll still help change the flat tyre on the car. Might seem normal but you won't see many other famous sport people do that
Very nice as usual ! One question around 5:54 it seems I see some artefacts on the back of Adam, is it due to heat / post treatment / other ? (The spider monkey is awesome as said in other comment :-) )
Same as indoor climbing, someone with a lot of experience says how hard it is compared to other climbs. Strength and technique play a role, so the more people climb something, there is a more accurate consensus of the grade. There is no such thing as "wall steeper than 45º with crimps of 20 mm mean 7C+ or whatever"
What an absolute beast. Question though- isn’t it more rewarding to get it first try without asking for all the beta? I would think it would take all the fun out of problem solving
Onsighting is more common in sports climbing I think, and not in bouldering. Probably because at this extreme level you need to really "rehearse" the route, by all means, and dial in your moves 100% exact, in order to have any hope of flashing it.
So don’t get me wrong. I love rock climbing but how did “sending it” become making a hard climb after a bunch of tries? Typically when you send something it means commitment with an unknown outcome. Just like a package in the mail or a big jump or a new trick. Nobody sends their mail by rock wall... I love your videos Adam Ondra!!! you are the strongest climber in the world!!!
First problem second part lower section was a poem, and especially from 5:00 - 5.23 an artfully mastered haiku. Was it played at normal speed or accelerated?

💛💚💙🧡
You're a dirk and a good man
💛💚💙🧡
"So this is an insanely difficult problem that takes inhuman skill and strength"
Adam: I flash it.
The production quality on this channel is absolutely insane! Great job everyone working on it!
1:27 - It begins with a 7C, followed by a hard section.
That's my self esteem gone :D
GG on the 6B+ :)
Yesterday I was able to flash a 7A on the moonboard. Pretty proud of that.
I really appreciate the honest look and dealing with failure, even for such an insanel strong climber. It's really helpful to watch. Thank you

10:31 Can we give it up for our camera man?
Just casually chillin on the tree :D
HAHA didn't even notice, heck ya
That’s not a camera man, that’s a spider monkey in its natural habitat.
Funny ..I love his attitude
Adam! I think that you can show us how is your complete warm up in another video! That interesting. Keep moving! Regards from Argentina
I would also love to see how Adam warms up!
He crushed some gumbies on the way to the first spot , that's his warm up I'm pretty sure
He stretches and does one arm pull-ups and dead hangs... just to make sure that he’s still that much of an animal
Adam is looking leaner than ever
Peak Olympic condition with nowhere to showcase it.
Can’t get enough of these videos!

It is very interesting when you talk about how you plan out the boulder, I would like to see more of that
You can tell Adam was ready to peak in his training around now. Goodluck next year in the Olympics
Thanks again for showing us all the ones the just get away! Makes the wins even better to watch!
Thank you Adam im a fan of you and love your videos and you are a so cool and clever person thanks
Your home country is beautiful.
You zipped through the start of that boulder, it was lovely to watch you do this Adam. Thank you
dude you really inspire me! i struggle with depession but your videos kill my pain and make me smile and feel free in that moment see you conqor the mountain i feel like im flying with you
There is something magical about climbing and a satisfaction and awareness of your body that you just don’t get from any other sport

I think Adam is the fittest person I've ever seen! The Czech Republic is beautiful. Phoenix Tears is such a cool name!
Tleskám moc, fandím a děkuji za inspiraci
The way Adams explains the concept of flashing a problem is so immersive. Sounds like a line from a big movie.
these keep my sanity intact during quarantine
You are so incredibly strong Adam! You have inspired me since I was a teenager.
Watching you climb is like watching a beautiful dance.
you should watch Patrick Edlinger
There's three Pavels in the credits haha
Thanks to all of them and to Adam for these great videos!
Ciao Adam! You are such a legend! Greetings from Italy!
Thanks for putting the Czech subtitles up; I started studying Czech once the quarantine happened and although I've never seen most of the words before, I pick up one or two new ones each video.
To je hezký ! ;) Hodně štěstí (That's nice, good luck)
@@1REEBOOK Děkuji! A teď mám nové slovo. "štěstí"
Such a beautiful video
Fantastic video. Great climbing. Such a beast!
Krásný, děkuji.
You seem like in top shape Adam, we can see you glow !
Awesome video Adam, thank you!
What a nice boulder! Truely a gem.
Great work Adam. Really cool to get your perspective on this part of climbing!
Like all your videos. Keep going on everything you are doing.✌️
Zidarana is so underrated! Best spot for winter bouldering in whole south Bohemia. Unfortunately, once it gets warm, the conditions deteriorate pretty quickly.
Ahh second like... Adam. Keep up the hard work!
So leaving a tarp for more than one night is considered trash, makes me wonder the conversation around fixed ropes on El•Cap, et al.
Great video as always! Thx!
I’m thinking about uploading my first outdoor bouldering video on YT, thanks for the inspiration Adam. As a matter of fact I’m gonna go go outdoor right now lol.
Oh Phoenix Tears :o you beauty, like I don't know if I'll ever get the chance but damn
oh my god pheonix tears is a perfectly beautiful boulder problem.

Honestly climbing in a gym at 1/4 capacity sounds ideal - as long as you can get in. How do they allocate passes at your gym?
Where was this gym if u dont mind me asking? The ones around me are still closed :/

Legend!
Beautiful video.
Amazing one, thanks for keeping us entertained
You are crazy man 😂. Amazing Adam
So sick :) love it-!!!
Amazing filming too
10:46 nothing more than it needs to be carry
His musculature is genuinely unreal looking
Adam Ondra is the superhero I want to be...
You need to come to Oaxaca, México. You will love it!! Greetings!!
V Bechyni bydlím, ale o tomhle jsem nevěděl. Děkuji. 😌😅
Next year will be your year! Just do your thing, my man =)
i gotta try this next time.. my usual game plan is to burn myself out practicing moves then drive home empty handed.
Sounds about right :-\
6:02: a special "fan" is visible
Very nice video
The real MVP is the cameraman in the tree
Adam Ondra - The floor is lava expert
Inspiring!!
Perfection 🧗🏼♂️
Even got muscles inside his armpit 10:47
That must be the secret!! 🤣
his armpit, "he's" is short for "he is"
3:28 duck duck goose
i once flashed a 6c+
Look how different the beta is for Adam and Stranik, Adam can skip a move !
you should be a stuntman for a superhero climber movie or something, the speed at which you scale that thing is crazy
"The game is tough. Sometimes unfair. But it's a simple game. Its now or never."
-Adam Ondra
Wish I could have seen you finish off the 8B+
Two very different but lovely problems
What I love about pro rock climbers is that even though they're "famous" they'll still help change the flat tyre on the car. Might seem normal but you won't see many other famous sport people do that
Epic
Hey, well done!
10:46 ondra’s physique is unreal
Good👍
Go climbing on the sandstone towers! They are the most beautiful climbing that your country has to offer.
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/t_LCBIlcYqQ/видео.html . In fact across the border in Germany and video only in Czech, but Adam on sandstone it is :)!
So the video is acutally sad Adam, happy Adam.
Damn son 🤯
adam’s videos with the sound on is NSFW
That had me sucked in. I was like he is gonna do it. then bam. Sorry man but still lovely try
Anyone knows what the fan / ventilator is for? Can't just be to cool him down, or is it?
Fratzeklatscher to cool his fingers down before he climbs
Adam doesn't seem like he's losing the climbing stoke during the lockdown.
Very nice as usual ! One question around 5:54 it seems I see some artefacts on the back of Adam, is it due to heat / post treatment / other ? (The spider monkey is awesome as said in other comment :-) )
10:28 When you think Adam is on the ground :D
No tak poloha Brna tak trošku mimo. :D
How is the difficulty of natural rock climbs determined?
Same as indoor climbing, someone with a lot of experience says how hard it is compared to other climbs. Strength and technique play a role, so the more people climb something, there is a more accurate consensus of the grade. There is no such thing as "wall steeper than 45º with crimps of 20 mm mean 7C+ or whatever"
the guy who opens it says how hard he thinks it is, and that's the grade
What an absolute beast. Question though- isn’t it more rewarding to get it first try without asking for all the beta? I would think it would take all the fun out of problem solving
thats onsight and its different I think...
Yeah onsight is the next level!
Onsighting is more common in sports climbing I think, and not in bouldering. Probably because at this extreme level you need to really "rehearse" the route, by all means, and dial in your moves 100% exact, in order to have any hope of flashing it.

Hi, when you go in Italy( val masino)?
My climbing gym opens on the 20th! Ive been binge watching climbing videos. getting hyped lol
we have to drive almost an hour to get to a good climbing gym
Let’s see a battle next.
First problem second part lower section was a poem, and especially from 5:00 - 5.23 an artfully mastered haiku. Was it played at normal speed or accelerated?
Normal. Adam just climbs very fast
@@RedX2276 I know that AO is really fast, but it was an incredible sequence. thx.
Beginner question here, is it still a flash if you touch the holds before like he did in the video?
yes
You are not allowed to put weight, i.e you can’t hang on it. Touching is allowed.
@@Jubjab Thks guys
