Passing the sphincter we enter the stomach, full of contractions and the puking monsters are analogous to the secretions of the stomach acid. passing the second sphincter we enter the small intestines which are full of cilia that gobble up all nutrients, so lots of hairs with mouths that eat everything. And the we enter the large intestine which is also full of cilia but are specialized to absorb moisture, so instead of mouths we have eyes which are always moist. The madman actually uses real anatomy and goes to town on it to make it as disturbing as possible!

I think my favorite part of this is when the teeth start growing into the tentacles, because I think a lesser artist would have been like "no that's too much", but Cyriak eschewed that thought and just went for it. It's spectacularly disturbing and I love it
