Love this patch it makes people who like making cosplays able to be viable now in pvp without having to try so hard to min max Im doing a solaire cosplay right now and just a single straight sword and shield is even viable its also been nice to see a switch in people running full bullgoat or veterans gear as well the Elden bling is at its peak now
@@scorn7005Not OP, but if had to take a stab at it: Greathelm Tree-and-Beast Surcoat or Godrick Knight Armor (Altered) Elden Lord Bracers Knight Greaves Longsword As far as I can tell, there's no good match for the shield, unfortunately. Sun Realm Shield is thematic, but looks nothing like the Sunlight Shield. Eclipse Crest Shield has a similar shape to the sun design on the SLS but doesn't match the shape of shield itself or the theme. Gravel Stone Seal
I’m loving my strength arcane setup with this patch. So many good infusable weapons now and even the Marais Executioner is just straight up one shotting people if you fully build into it
Hi :) thank you for this very good video, I don't understand why you go up to 65 dex and only 20 force on your GODSKIN STITCHER blood construction, while the scaling is c for force and dex, the performance is better in dex ? thank you for your videos,
I have recently stopped using armour, just a hood, and some rags on the legs, run the Japanese blades, it's quite pleasant, especially the feeling of killing a boss without using magic lol.
Recently, i have been running a Carian Nobility spellblade. offhand carian knight shield with mainhand glintstone kris and staff. I use all the melee sorceries and shattering crystal if i am sick of fighting someone. With the buffed poise damage, dagger and board is actually a viable strategy! expecially if you use the greatshield and curved sword talismans!
Crit damage just takes AR into account so split damage is the way to go. Lightning Misericorde at 80 Dex could one-shot a 1900 HP player even before the patch with a parry riposte. Backstabs are the real thing where the increased damage comes into play now, especially in conjunction with the larger grab angle. Great for punishing jump attacks. Blood Tax has half the poise damage of Repeating Thrust, as far as I'm aware. So while Repeating Thrust staggers really well now, Blood Tax still tends to miss a lot when fighting someone with a decent poise setup (88+). EDIT: spelling
One neat thing I found out is lances can basically bait people into trying to stagger you but due to the delayed attack lances have whenever you attack, the hyper armor goes into affect so your enemy is forced into a trade.
I finished the game within the first month of release, got turned off when the nerfs started becoming frequent, realllyyy fucking sucks there still nerfing things man:/
Changes only affect pvp: 99% of things always stagger now. Quickstep/Bloodhoundstep nerfed. It's a little more complicated than this but this is the gist of it.
The problem with removing passive poise is that it ruined heavier armor and also allows multi hit combos to dominate. So it does allow more weapons to be “viable” but at the expense of realism and permitting gimmicky wins with multi stun locks.
@@artypicklespvp7174 Of course it’s not 100% realistic but it should conform to common sense intuition regarding weight, speed, heft etc. Sorry but a dagger shouldn’t stagger heavy armor at all, that’s our intuition. Otherwise it’s a totally arbitrary physics and cartoon combat with superheroes.
I’m so sick of getting put into the blender with shit… people running away from you, endless buffs, never being aggressive, only pressing L2. Cheesing the game so hard because of the new update. Single handed just gave bad players ANOTHER crutch with waterfowl, spinning slash, some others. PS Curve swords are still stupid. Now PSSS Are cancer. Being a GUGS user it’s not fun to play against cookie cutter people. Where as I had learned hidden tech for using GUGS others just stood 4 years away and only running L1 or use L2… quit this game like two days ago after I came across 4 people in a row using meta stuff that breaks greatsword poise. I had even diverted from having fun in the game and used a heavy thrusting sword… god I hate elden ring now
The thing I don’t like is the PvP part of the game I get why it’s there but it’s so annoying when you just want to have fun and play the game with your friends and you get so ahole invade you and kill you just taking all the fun away from the game because like if I wanted to play a PvP game I’d go play cod
Unfortunately Elden Ring isn't a couch co op game. Its a random multiplayer game. Invaders exist to balance out the difficult from having extra players. Elden Ring present a choice: summon friends, but open yourself to invaders (who may or may not be good at the game), or play solo. Also, you can use the white cipher Ring bought in roundtable hold to automatically allow blue summons: random people whos job is to protect you from invaders. It's gonna be like this for every Fromsoft souls game, so now you know.
@@prins-henrik1530 no ik even though the bosses get stronger and have more health with the more players you have just as they said on launch but still it doesn’t change that it’s annoying and stops you from having fun like I get the PvP side but I also feel that it should be optional and it’s not like friends help at all anyways because if anything they’re only distractions because they never do enough damage to the boss because they want to play with me when I’m in ng+ and there’s like 60-100
I’ve been using bleed guts with stamp sweep. I feel like stamp is easier to hit now and its also really good again r1 spam. Stamp also hits two times and on a colossal thats a instant bleed even without much arcane. Im taking out like 70% of my opponents max health in one hit🤌

Elden bling was already most important and now the devs are backing that stance. I'm glad.
Main hand Keen Urumi with Lightning Ram and an offhand Keen (or Bleed/Cold) Great Knife with Glintblade Phalanx is pretty fun.
Cool fact about the naginata, any attack that is a thrust attack in game is followed up by a poke
The claymore with blood affinity and storm caller is nutty

As a Elden Ring player, after playing AC6 for NG++++, this game looks new to me now because of this update 💀
Storm assault and stormcaller have gotten a well deserved buff by this patch
absolutely
Eleonora poleblade is fun but katana outclass everything now, I just want a colossal flail and fist weapon 😅
Quick question: strength or dexterity?
Holy crap it was nice dueling you! You inspired me to try all the weapons (Hence my name: “I try all weapon”), so fighting you was a treat!

What’s Godfrey doing in the background?
Now we need a rework to taunters tongue and six player limit

Can anyone tell me if the game is more polished and stable on pc ? And is it now easier then before cause i am a bad player

So these changes make elden ring dark souls 3 2
So are these changes mainly pvp?
Yes poise is still good in pve

I dont think it does
The crit buffs apply to PvE, but the poise, hyper armor, and quickstep/houndstep changes are PvP only
