How do you make this beauty larger, if it's not fir you to try on, is there a chart of formula to follow, just found you i can't create but can follow directions, i am loving work with you on this sweater i have been looking and yours to day is the BEST, THANK YOU
Just add a few rounds on the yoke till it fits....you can try it on to make sure
How do you make this a bigger sweater
Just confused
Make the yoke bigger, to be sure I usually try it on to make sure its the right fit.
When you're doing the body part to make it longer are we still going around sleeves?
No, you finish the body then sleeves
@ tysm. This is my first one and I'm new to I'm glad I waited for a response. My sleeves would've been wonky lol once you connect those chain spaces to make the sleeves. It doesn't explain if I keep going around. Other tutorials do like a chain spaces in tween the sleeves part.
For this tutorial, just skip the sleeve section and just HDC in the next V-st. I don't like doing chains at the armpit, ruins the shape.
@ tysm! You are so kind and I appreciate you taking time out of your day and explaining that! I can't wait to finish! Hope your day is blessed
please how do you make your V stitch ?
by making one chain and skip one and work in the next stitch a HDC
or by making one chain and work in the next stitch a HDC
💘 and thank u
(HDC, one chain, HDC) all in the same one stitch
@
I’m making it 💘💘💘 and im so happy for my process.. but please can you tell me what does V stitch in Ch 1-sp in the 2nd row
It's on the video. (1HDC, Ch 1, 1HDC) All in the chain one space
@
oh thank u .. and sorry for the questions cause it’s my 1st time making a sweater
i didn’t notice .. i thought it was a V stitch in the 1st stitch of the previous V stitch
@ahmadamrrr no problem...happy to help
Thanks 4 sharing ❤
im wondering how many rows in the Collar in total.. 70 or 68 ( by not counting the foundation chains )
also how should i work in the York cause i added 2 chains in the chains of the collar ( you did 8 in every row and i did 10 in every row due to the thin yarn i have ) PLEASE tell me what changes should i do in the york and the next steps .. id be so grateful 🎀♥️🤍♥️🤍♥️ also thank u so so so much for these beautiful sweet videos! I’m learning from them THANK U AGAIN
Hi, I'm using a weight 4 yarn. The collar is 68 rows (I haven't used a thinner yarn but if your head can pass through the collar, you have enough rows)
Work the yoke as shown without changes(but if you added more rows to the collar then you can add a few stitches to the sleeves)
@ please how do you make your V stitch ?
by making one chain and skip one and work in the next stitch a HDC
or by making one chain and work in the next stitch a HDC
💘 and thank u
How do you know the right sizes for collar
Try it on..
What size for this sweater? Thanks
Medium sized
what adjustments would i need to make for a L
Add more rows to your yoke till it's your size
Where do we do the increase? Are the V stitches count as increases or do we have to do a hdc increase in every row?
The v stitches are the increase..
You just have to add more rows till you get your size
How many days it takes u to make???
1 week (this includes recording tutorial)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how i could make this a slightly smaller size, this pattern looks so cute :))
How small? Coz that one is already small and cropped but a little buggy
@@brendadiy1303 nvm ive started making it now and the sizing looks great! its so cute tysm!!!

What size would this be ?

@@brendadiy1303 do you know what to chain for a child size 3?

5 or 6 depending on your size
Do you have a size? Boys size 12-14?
No, I don't have kids sizes. But in the video I indicate where to change sizes.
How many gramms and meters is each ball of yarn?
It's in the description

Hi you have 68 stitches but we you divide some are left?
10 sts for each sleeve
22 sts for back and front
The remaining 4sts are the ones we do increases in...
@@brendadiy1303 Hi, I guess I am confused. When I follow your video you have 10 hdc in the first segment then another 10 hdc for the sleeve, then 22 hdc for the front then 10 hdc for the sleeve. Are the remaining chains supposed to be part of the back? Thank you for your help!
@adrianaquintero223 yes...the seam is at the middle of the back.
@@brendadiy1303 All right, thank you! I love your designs by the way, this sweater is my favorite. 🙂

Sorry, body circumference measures around 96cm, arm circumference 36cm.
