Just got myself an FJ. Always been a Tacoma guy. But wow your guys RUclips channel has really blown me away. Never have I ever found a channel so helpful with tips and helpful information. Very underrated channel. Y’all deserve more subs for the great quality vids you guys make.
I just installed these the other day,. Installation was fairly easy, I think it took about 1 hour. it looks great, definitely a nice new look over the old lights, The only negatives I came a crossed was the adapter wasn't a airtight fit .Im going to keep a eye on it for water leakage and maybe run a little weather seal around the bracket, similar to how the weather strip tape on the OEM fixture. The second thing was the white LEDs are a little on the bright side, There probably no brighter than the LED strips you see on new cars, and no one has flashed the highs at me yet. maybe I can work in a resister with a dial to adjust it to the brightness I want. or work in the amber lights. other wise the look great.
Interesting video - thanks. You could use a meter on DC Volts to determine the polarity of the wires coming from the FJ. Sometimes just hooking them up can cause damage.
Hey folks! Pay attention when Mark says the twist the screwdriver. Do not pry up. I did, and the mirror broke very easy. And I don't remember exactly but they cost ether 75 bucks or 130. Probably 130.
I’m waiting till they make the alternating amber white led version. I think I can buy these and install some I found online then splice the wires to the turn signals. So much cheaper than freedom light but will need to create a mounting base.
Would really be nice if they made a parking light to keep all of the amber the same. It looks great but I really like how factory mirrors and markers have the same amber color
I love those solder connector they work so well. I use them for each of my connections and even though they seal for waterproof I still used a separate heat shrink tubing to just make certain. So does the mirror on the 4R come off the same way? I need to change out my puddle lights and have been afraid to take them off cause I don't want to break the mirror and have the wife upset at me lol.
@@WanderlostOverland I understand that I have seen where they have actually mounted the white version of that KC light under the mirror on the 4R but not sure if I want it hanging down right there like that.
Your Channel is absolutely brilliant! As a new UK FJ Owner, finding your brilliant channel is like finding gold! Thank You!
@@markc1844 thanks for watching!

Great video you 2!! The lights look Awesome!!
Thanks so much!!
Great how to, would be better if the kit included a plug and play plug end to plug into the stock plugs
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for the great information you’re providing, my 2013 FJ mirror lights is out. Do you know which fuse I need to check? Thanks Nick
I'm sorry, I don't

The mounting base is all your really paying for. It's 3d printed. Also I noticed that they discontinued this item.
nice. detailed to the point.
Glad it was helpful!
FIRST TNX FOR VIDEO :x AND qustion : HOW CAN BUY brackets ?? and what name serching to buy this item tnx
Another great video. Have KC cyclones as rock lights on the fj. Resistor? For dimming?
Screw street legal brightness!
How to turn the head hosing to turn the entire housing out?
Excellent job i like this channel
Have you done a video on sun roof leaks ?
No, sorry. I've always had bad luck with sunroofs.

That would be cool!
A great video and another victim of the 50/50/90 rule. When faced with a 50/50 choice, odds are, you are wrong 90% of the time. ; )

We haven't had our 4R mirrors out, yet. so we're no help. :)

Great, mod. I'm doing this.
It is pretty cool!
How can I purchase this light??
Yes we do like and subscribe 🙃
Does the kit come with 2x lights for both sides?
It does!
Nice looking product but $250 is a little steep for a visual mod
I would just get some Amber led inserts and swap them in. I’m a cheap bastard. And a DIY’er. But not everyone knows how to custom build stuff
Its $210 now
"Now experts say disconnect the battery" stares* knowing he danm well didn't
Ha Ha
How much brighter r these
Considerably.
Good watch though I have a 17 4Runner. Also someone looks like they got some sun!
👋🙂
3:02 to 3:05....LOL
Lucky you don't have the shitty power mirrors. Try to get that junk back together.
275 dollars? Too rich for me..
Hell, you can buy a bumper for this price! No thnx
