@@cbatilo Perfect!!! Thanks!
I liked how you got right into it without any big intro, clear and to the point! thanks for the helpful info, much appreciated.
Great video and Thank you for including the 3 colors in the description. Thank you again!
The easiest and safest way to remove the mirror is to tilt the bottom out and insert a tool that is flat and flexible about half inch wide....I used a hand drywall saw and it worked so easy...insert it from the bottom center 3-4 inches ...it fits right between the two bottom clips. When you get it between them just twist it one way or the other. It works sooo much better than trying to pull up from the bottom..I was doing it that way and I could just feel the pressure on the glass...went and grabbed the closest thing I could find and it was so easy
Best video I've seen on how to change the bulbs and take out the mirrors great job! I'm going to try to do mine now /update: just did mine and learned from it I cracked the driver side mirror these are extremely difficult to remove or at least mine was when I did the passenger side I put tape on the glass (mirror) and it was just as difficult to get out however putting the tape on the mirror prevented it from cracking I believe I ordered a new one for the driver side and when I install it I will be putting tape on the mirror again I hope this helps someone from cracking theirs good luck
Thank you very much for watching and feedback! Really appreciate it.
Read your comment after cracking my mirror! 😭
Thanks for clarifying the details about the clips on the backside of the mirror.
Last thing I want to do is break my mother's FJ mirror. Now to order some LEDs and save my mom $132 in labor!
Cheers mate
Nice work, but i still like the classic look of the yellow light
You ROCK!!! Thank you so much for your 'How to..' video it really helped, and saved me for taking it to the dealer, and saving me $.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a feedback! It helps our channel a lot! Great to hear your project was successful! Way Cool!
thank you so much. its about time someone actually uploaded a video on how to do this.
Thank you very much too for watching and for the feedback
Wow - Thank you, Stealers would charge over $100 to do this. Liked and subscribed too...
last video i saw they broke the top clips! ha good job
I will definitely follow this! Thank you!
Nice quality video. Great way to teach.
You did a good job showing the clips and the proper way to remove the mirror. It's a poor design in my opinion.
Any mirror that is replaceable without buying the entire assembly is an excellent design..maybe not ideal mounting but much better than replacing a mirror on my '86 Honda Accord LXi
Excelente BRO👍 SALUDOS DESDE 🇲🇽😜
You can also pull out the diffuser if you want it even brighter.
May I know how should I remove the diffuser? Do you have a video for this? Thanks!
Thank you for your video. It's really helpful.
Mai Tran thank you very much for the feedback! I do appreciate it big time. If you own a FJ Cruiser... I got plenty of how to vids.. thanks again!
Thanks for the info. Can you tell me if I need to change or add anything to use the LED bulbs, or can I just plug them into my stock harness? Clear or white? What would you recommend? Thanks again for the information.
Nothing to add... just plug and play
I like clear too but decided white
Hi buddy, I just bought a 07 FJ. I have a question for you. How do the mirror lights come on?
It goes with your driving lights switch
@cbatilo They flicker, I was thinking that was the case, couldn't find a switch. I guess it's time for new bulbs. Thanks much!!!
Great video, thanks from Australia.
Anyone know where I can buy a replacement mirror? Mine completely shattered 🙃
I did this and it was An amazing result thank you
Thank you very much for watching and for the feedback!
Very cool video 🖒
Thank you very much for watching and for the feedback!
cbatilo anytime my friend great job🖒
This worked on my passenger side but broke my mirror on my driver’s side. Why was this the case? It was so hard to get off, I couldn’t even do it,
Same bro that just happened to me right now lol
Same thing happened to me when I took of my mirrors to install my EZ View mirrors. These mirror lights are so pointless that when they burn out, I'm not even going to bother replacing them and risk breaking my mirror again, especially since the EZ View is no longer available.
Do you know about how many lumens the original bulbs put out? Idk what the numbers will tell me that your video didn't, but I'm just curious! I have these in my amazon cart now because of this video- gonna install them at the same time that I install heated pads behind the mirrors and paint the housing black.
Stock bulb is 25 lumens. Thanks for the watching and for the question
Hi, will this fit to my 2008 fj?
Lloyd Yap Yes. This fj is 2008
Can I use it for 2017
Yes. They use the Same bulb
This helped a lot..
Managed to break the mirror trying to be easy on the housing
Me too
Me too
I had a hard time till I shot the back of mirror with WD40 and it popped right out clean
Awesome TIP! Addition to this How to! Great idea! Thank you for watching and for the feedback! TY
Awesome Tip! Thanks I was really trying but man I thought i was going to break it until i noticed this tip. Thanks Ela Nunes !!! Worked like a charm and didn't break the top clips.
Why did we start wearing rubber gloves for non-greasy tasks? Just more needless junk in the landfills.
Bragging about having Small Hands? Better to use a screw driver to remove the mirrors
Lol... no one brags about small hands... however men often brags about large hands and feet! Btw, screw driver works too! Thank you for watching and feedback
Thank you for your video. It helped me a lot
zxx zxx Thank you very much for the feedback! I appreciate it
