So when you're constipated, even if you wake up on an empty stomach, you still have some extra weight on you. I remember going keto and after a week I saw no results but also I didn't go #2 for a full week. As soon as I took probiotic and atarted going #2 daily, I dropped about 8lbs in two days. Constipation is not the bloat you get in the evening, don't confuse these two.
I know i was finna throw hands. I'm not concerned with gaining weight but I know a lot of people are how damaging certain "information" can be but this turned out to be the opposite of what I thought it was. Very wholesome 😊

I needed to hear this I'm on a weightloss journey and my weight sometimes fluctuates I've been drinking nothing but water for 4 weeks eating healthier I have lost 11lbs so far but last week and this week I only lost 0.5lbs x
You also should consider how your body changes when you eat better/workout. I've started to do some light exercise and eating better. Many people tell me I look healthy and I look skinnier. I haven't really lost all that much weight. Barely enough to even make a difference on the scale when i have weighed myself (although i try not to do that too often). But my body wears that weight differently and makes me look slimmer.
Also, Muscle is heavier than dat, soI was also wondering, should the weight loss at some point not stagnate and then the numbers go up again as you are gaining muscle through exercise?!
I would also recommend having a bowel movement before weighing yourself as well. For that could also get rid of some already digested food and let’s you measure your actual weight more accurately.
I've been on the carnivore diet for years. Thus, BMs only occurs every 2 or 3 days, and is very little because there's very little waste. And I do OMAD, so I weigh myself before I eat. And, it makes it easy to stay shredded. Holidays present a challenge.... lol

sorry to break it to you dude but this girl's content is pretty awful. telling people it's okay to eat cheat meals and "don't starve yourself" doesn't translate well to people who have a hard time staying away from junk food. you can be so much more efficient with dieting if you just DONT have cheat meals. learn to cook and make good, low-cal recipes and that will satisfy cravings while still staying on diet.

I’ve of course subconsciously known this but this actually helped so much to hear. I often fall victim to looking at myself in the mirror after meals. I’ve thankfully stopped weighing myself. But still my problems arise. Looking at yourself after a meal should show some difference. It shows you’ve actually fed yourself. Whether or not I’ve eaten a salad or fried chicken my stomach will grow, so why do I stress so much? This is a good reminder that true progress, positive or negative, shows better in the morning
Also, if you look at yourself in the mirror, do so first thing in the morning before ingesting anything to get a good idea of what you really look like.

Guys. It’s okay to gain fat (as well as body fat) too. Fats can be good for you and are an important part of our diet. Fats give us energy and literally help our body run. So yes you can look good and be skinny, but you’ll be unhappy either way if you aren’t eating what’s right for you. To be clear, saturated fats from fried/fatty foods or red meats are things you should have in moderation. Not every day, because they will cause you heath problems. Unsaturated fats from fish, nuts, and avocados are good for you. Eat healthy, but eat what you love too.
@ yeah I know. I was trying to say that it’s fine to gain body fat as well. People will shrink and gain mass all the time. I don’t think people should be as ashamed as they are for simply having a body that adjusts to our lives. Becoming slightly wider doesn’t mean anything most of the time. So many people (women especially) around me are so afraid of their waists or thighs becoming larger when they eat. I don’t know why. It’s not like I’m going to stop loving them or something.
After watching this I was sure the first comment would be something like "Wow, so if you weigh one thing inside another, the result will be their masses combined? Incredible!" but apparently no, and there are several hundred people who actually didn't know that and it really horrifies me about our society
I needed to hear that. I have severe body dysmorphia and minor to moderate anorexia. I weigh myself close on 15 times a day, and usually after a meal, so that I can see if I ate too much. I was on my way to weigh myself again when I saw this video, and it was hard, but I skipped one of my weigh ins. Thanks ❤
This advice is SO underrated! You also might weight more because of resistance training: when you build muscles, your body saves more water and makes you heavier! As long as you are in a caloric deficit you will lose *fat*!
